Whittaker could absorb the core in 2 hours because of his Devansha bloodline.

'Amazing,' Whittaker thought while storing the crystal in his ring.

"Thank you, Elder," He said while beaming a smile towards the kind-hearted yet eccentric old man.

Zachary nodded in response, accepting his gratitude. As a teacher, his responsibility was to pass on the greatest of things to his student. Furthermore, Whittaker was also his inheritor. That's why he made sure that even death wouldn't be able to take him.

"Here, drink this, it's a herbal tea with healing and calming effect," Zachary said while passing one cup of tea to the young boy.

He drank it.

"Bitter and hot!" He exclaimed while spewing the bitter tea. It was so bitter that his tongue was stinging.

"Hehe, you can go to the kitchen to get sweet milk if you want to," the old man laughed while drinking the herbal tea which was ten times more bitter than table seal.

Whittaker felt that he was taunted but he was a milk lover and would drink it for life!

He stood up to get his savory drink.

------

Several minutes later, he returned to the practice ground after drinking a cup of milk. Elder Zachary was still drinking tea. This was his fifth glass.

Whittaker sat back on his soft cushion.

"Elder, I recently bought a mysterious item classified as unidentified from the universal shop. Can you take a look at it?" He asked with an innocent smile.

Elder Zachary was an experienced old man who has used the universal store thousands of times. He has been scammed many times because of buying unidentified items from the store. He still felt sad for the losses he suffered and Whittaker was just a child. He instantly felt bad for Whittaker when he heard his words. The poor boy got scammed, he thought.

"Ah, little friend, never buy an unidentified item from the universal store. Most of the time, it's a scam. 99.9% of the unidentified item are useless, only 0.1% is useful. To look for a useful item among the junk is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Out of 100 thousand items, only 100 will be a treasure. Even the most professional of appraisers don't try their luck in this field. I'm guessing you got scammed by an experienced trader who enticed you with words," he replied thoughtfully, giving an earful lesson to Whittaker, who smiled while thinking that before Noah the risk of being scammed is minimum to none.

With a thought, Whittaker materialized the pitch-black crystal in his hand.

"Can you please check it once, I felt a mysterious energy in this crystal," he said while extending his hand towards Elder Zachary.

"Oh, okay," Elder Zachary accepted to inspect the crystal for he was somewhat curious about the mysterious energy Whittaker felt.

After a single scrutinizing glance at the pitch-black crystal, he was appalled and his beard shook furiously.

"Space, light, even wind. What a mystical crystal. This this is a treasure!" His eyes opened wide in surprise as he stared at Whittaker with a gaping mouth. What a lucky brat, he thought while looking at Whittaker.

"Elder, what did you find?" Whittaker innocently asked, his purpose was simply to have him solve the seal. He wanted to know what the treasure inside the crystal is.

"This crystal contains three energy in its depth but they are bring suppressed by five sealing magical rune designs inscribed inside the crystal. While one magical rune design is inscribed on the crystal surface and is reinforcing the seal. From the looks of it, I think it's a rune obtained through killing an S-ranked magical beast. A very powerful rune that has a skill that combines different aspects of wind, light, and space. Once equipped in an equipment rune slot, the skill use will be known but it's bound to be overpowered. This seems really interesting. Hmm, even I have never seen such a mysterious seal that utilize six magical rune design. Wonderful!" Elder Zachary was extremely interested in this pitch-black crystal.

Whittaker smiled in glee. He had hit the jackpot thanks to Noah. Furthermore, he was impressed with Elder Zachary's. Noah wasn't sure what the pitch-black crystal was but he instantly determined that its a rune after a single glance.

"Can the elder unseal it?" He asked curiously while intently staring at the pitch-black crystal.

"Yes, but it will take some time." The Elder replied confidently.

Five of the magical rune designs sealed the energy in the depth of the pitch-black crystal. The five magical rune designs combined to form a crystal-like seal that enclosed the energy. Whereas the sixth magical rune design reinforced this seal.

"I should first destroy the sixth magical rune design," Elder Zachary used his mana and death force to attack the sixth seal to destroy it. After an hour, the sturdy design was finally destroyed.

Whittaker was intently staring at the process. He was using Devansha vision so he was able to capture even the minute detail of the process. At the same time, he was learning the process of breaking seals.

"This seal is definitely created by a peak inscriptionist!" He said as beads of sweat formed on his face. The next step was to shatter the crystal.

"The crystal seal in this crystal is made from the combination of five same types of magical rune design. It may seem very hard to destroy but it's not, and there's no need to destroy it. We just need to make a puncture in the seal and give a path for the energy sealed inside to rush out. It can be easily punctured by simply pounding one of the five magical rune designs with a massive amount of Soul force. However, it's easier said than done. Only a soul master with excellent control over soul force will be able to destroy it. Do you understand?" Elder Zachary said.
