The people of the port city insisted on paying us back, but we firmly refused.

In the first place, we werent citizens of their kingdom. We were able to deflect Bazal the old mans questions earlier, but should the people ask for details, we would likely be exposed. I wanted us gone before that happens.

After handing over the krakens to the port city, we decided to get back home.
