Chapter 466
Han took his cloak first and placed it on the ground, revealing a gi or kimono-like clothing underneath. Also brown, which was why I didn't notice it either, since it was blending nicely with the cloak. He also had a pair of short pants. This attire was just slightly different from the bathrobe-like worn by the farmers.
He also took off the hat and placed it on the ground. Ki'rai jumped of Razzle and pulled out her knife.
- Wait! - I quickly stopped her. - Fighting with a magical, sharp weapon is too dangerous and unfair. How about this?
I created a dull dagger out of void essence and gave it to her. She accepted, and her own weapon ended back in its sheet. Then they both stepped away from us and started the usual dance of circling around one another, waiting for the right moment to attack.
Ki'rai lost this clash of nerves, and attacked first, charging with the blade of her void dagger parallel to her forearm. She holds it this way in preparation to parry an incoming attack. Han attempted to stop her, stabbing from above, but she easily avoided the pole by stepping to the side, and it ended hitting the ground.
The Uhm quickly retracted, changed grip on his weapon, and grabbed it more or less in the middle, to place it from above between him and her, just as she wanted to swing at his leg. At the same moment, he stepped back, creating some distance, but she wasn't idle either. She grabbed the cane, with her free hand, and used her leg, to step on it. Although her foot slide, she still managed to jump up a bit and grab the sleeve of his robe.
It was a mistake since he slammed her on the ground without any hesitation, then tried to pin her down with the stick, but she rolled out avoiding the first, second, and third strike. She got up in a very fluid manner, not losing the momentum at all. She did a nice spin and rushed back at him.

Han reacted by dropping it completely, but Ki'rai leaped off it and landed on his shoulder. She couldn't hit him, though, as he moved his arm to knock her down. Instead, she jumped off, at the last moment grabbing the collar of his robe behind his head, and landed on his back. He reacted immediately attempting to crush her with his own weight, but she managed to get off, just as the back of giant Uhm git the ground.
He used so much force, that he bounced off, and landed on his legs, although crouching. She used this since he didn't have a full range of motion in his current position, and used his knee as a stepping stone, did a flip in the air, as he attempted to grab her, and smacked him on the head. Then she landed on the other side with a sly smirk on her face.
- Your friend is incredible - Ole complimented her. - Only a few of our true masters could match her.
- Yeah, although I'm not gonna tell her that. Look how full of herself she is now.
He looked at me and smiled.
- Maybe that's for the better.
- You were awesome Ki'rai! - shouted Tihana as my little lizard returned to us, followed by the Uhm she just managed to beat.
- I'm the best - she replied confidently.
- Wow, really? Should we spar then? - I asked her, with my eyebrows risen high from the surprise.
She really dared to say that in my presence. My pride got slapped in the face.
She looked at me with a grimace on her face, indicating that she didn't really want to get her ass whopped. I smiled in return.
- She is very fast - said Han. - An amazing warrior. Are you all this strong?
- We have different talents - I replied.
- Then how about you and I have a duel? - he proposed with a smile on his face.
- Uhm... I don't want to brag, but I'm stronger than her...
- One has to challenge himself constantly, to learn and grow - he didn't give up.
I sighed.
- Ok, fine...
He then started to move back, away from others, and I followed him.
- Is it that time already? - asked Alice.
I looked over my shoulder at her, confused.
- Time to flex - she said with a smile.
- How dare you. I would never go so low to flex on innocent aliens and undermine one of my friend's recent victories.
She just laughed.
- No, you totally would, and that's why you are following that poor dude - said Tihana.
I ignored her. As her father, I had a total right to do that, since she was young, and knew shit about life. Don't judge me.
Ole looked curious, seeing us talking too much, so I had to explain:
- They are just talking some nonsense. Ignore them.
He shrugged his shoulders since he couldn't understand them anyway.
Han assumed a stance, with the tall flower pole in both of his hands. I slowly walked to my spot, since they slowed me down, and the Uhm managed to already walk all the way there.
I took my time and slowly arrived at my spot working on the seal suppressing my powers. I didn't want to open it fully, because that could end with somebody dying, but I also wanted to get a bit of my original strength. Fortunately, the combined seals, synchronized, and working together, were allowing me to do such a thing, although it was a bit time-consuming.
- Are you ready? - asked Han as soon as stopped in front of him.
- Yes I am - I said with a slight smile, and with a gesture of a hand invited him to attack me.
