Chapter 497  Zera's Betrayal!!![Bonus Chapter]

"Do you really think you can trap us within your body!?" The roar of rage boomed out from the Zeras who were currently residing in Zeras' stomachs as Zeras laughed manically.

"Tch, then open your blind eyes, you kiddo, and watch as we reduce your internal organs into nothing!" The system all roared out, and in the next second.

*BOOOOOOM*

The apocalyptic explosion was undeniable, as Zeras' body automatically puffed out loud, and with every hit, the white gas surrounding his skin rapidly dimmed.

"You'll be the one to die first if you don't release them..." The dragon said out in mockery to Zeras, but Zeras paid it no attention!

"Hey, system," he suddenly called out, and right before the dragon's eyes, a dark Zeras suddenly materialized before Zeras' face.

"I have locked them in, how will you lock them into my scales?" Zeras asked as the dark-haired Zeras looked at Zeras' body which was puffing all over, a result of the overwhelming power that was currently running amok beneath his skin.

It was no doubt going to be the most painful sensation ever, and if not because Zeras was in his soul form, he would have no doubt already coughed out a sea of blood.

"This is too risky; your soul body is rapidly dispersing. I'm sure it would have dispersed already if not because of that water that your physical body is in. It is the one rapidly healing your consciousness..."

"I asked a damn question..." Zeras roared out in rage at it as the dark Zeras coughed and quickly regained itself.

"Ok. What you have to do is to make sure you exhaust all of their energy! Right now, they all are trying their best to break out of your body and therefore are using extremely powerful attacks which are no doubt exhausting their energy!

What you have to do is last long enough to make them all exhaust their energy!" The system replied as Zeras' eyebrows furrowed before his eyes twinkled.

There was no need to kid himself; he knew well he wouldn't last that much. His soul body just as the system said was truly rapidly dispersing into nothing. If he doesn't find a way to rest them down, then he would no doubt be dying soon.

"Your plan won't work!" Zeras replied as the system sighed. How could it have known Zeras would choose to gulp all of them down?

"Well, do you have a better idea?" The system asked as Zeras' eyebrows furrowed before his eyes twinkled.

"I do."

"Oh, what is it?"

"You have to come inside my stomach and begin to kill them one by one!"

"What the? Are you insane? They are thousands of them, many of which have power not any lesser and even greater than mine, And you want me to kill them!? They can kill me, and that would mean my existence getting erased forever! There is no way in the world I'll do that!" The system replied, shaking its head firmly.

The systems are not bonded to each other, and one could kill the other. Once it is caught killing its rest, then the others would gather on it and kill it also. Once that happened, it would be erased from existence eternally, but that wouldn't mean Zeras losing his Chaos devourer gene. Zeras would still be able to use the Chaos devourer gene. It would be the only one missing.

That, to it, sounded like a ploy from Zeras to eliminate it, and there was no way it would agree to that!

"They are fighting within my body, within my domain. I can hide you from their eyes. And even if in the impossible scenario they caught onto you, in a split second, I can drag you out back.

Are you saying if you're caught you will be immediately killed before a split second!?" Zeras asked as the dark Zeras' eyebrows furrowed.

"I don't believe you can bring them out within the span of a second!?"

It replied as Zeras suddenly opened his mouth.

"Just stay on my tongue. And see if I can summon you out or not!" Zeras said with a confident expression on his face as the dark Zeras' eyebrows furrowed.

But then it regained its confidence as it slowly moved towards Zera's wide-open mouth and stood on Zera's tongue, and Zeras slowly closed his teeth tightly.

But immediately, Zeras closed his teeth, an abyssal grin appeared on Zeras' lips and in the next second

*SWWAAALLLOW!*

Zeras swallowed the Chaos Devourer system into his stomach.

Immediately, the dark Zeras' face changed instantly as it was sent falling down through Zera's ginormous throat and landed into his stomach.

The system's eyes widened in shock as it couldn't believe it. Zeras had betrayed it!!!

"Is this some funny joke, Zeras!!!" It roared out loud as an abyssal laughter boomed out of Zeras' mouth.

"Now all the stupid systems have been trapped in my stomach. You think I don't know what you have been up to, damn system? You think I don't know that you're just trying to one day take over my body? You think I don't know you have been plotting against me all this while!!!?" Zeras said with an abyssal grin as the system's face changed massively.

"How...How did you know!?" It roared out in disbelief as Zeras' face changed massively before he suddenly laughed out loud.

"Actually, I don't know. I just knew right now. I was suspicious though, ever since you have stayed talking like a human. When I first met you, you used to call me 'Host,' but as I level up and after my evolution, you started calling me Zeras. And in serious situations, you don't call me host anymore but Zeras instead.

If you're truly a system, you should be programmed with just one thing, and the only thing you should call me is Host! Besides, how many times have you lied to me? Deceiving me?"

"What lie!!?" The system roared out as Zeras chuckled abyssally.

"All of these systems, including you, are not any guardians put in control to make sure I become some strong person in the future. All of you are once-living entities, and all you're trying to do is to take over my body!"

"You, the Chaos Devourer system, just happen to be smarter and luckier than the rest!"
