Chapter 168 Different in her eyes.
Amaryllis had been observing Aurea torturing Uriel and it was effective because angels weren't like humans who had a real physical body, they were spirits. Aurea's power was specialized in dealing with souls and spirits, but although she was capable of hurting Uriel, Uriel didn't feel any pain at all.
Both Aurea and Amaryllis already knew that it was impossible to get something from Uriel because of that. Her personality and lack of emotion made her impossible to crack, and her loyalty to The Lord made her endure everything.
Luckily, even though Aurea couldn't get anything from Uriel, Uriel was powerless. Whatever Elena did to her, she managed to lock and disable Uriel's powers, and that made them at least feel at ease.
"There's no point in doing this, Amy. Let's just wait for Mykel to come back," Aurea said as she grabbed Uriel's whole face with her right hand. "It's like trying to ask a fucking wall and hoping it would answer," Aurea added and slammed Uriel's head to the ground since she was pissed.
Uriel was still in a blank state because Aurea tried to corrupt her, but couldn't get any deeper. She was unconscious and Aurea was so close to absorbing her spirit and making it hers.
"I'll tell Mykel," Amaryllis said as she opened a portal to the cabin since she was also curious about what those two were doing.
Amaryllis was about to enter the cabin, but she was stopped by a strong invisible barrier. She couldn't force her way in, so she decided to call Mykel from outside the door. Mykel opened the door for her and she saw Elena sleeping with only a tank top and hot pants.
"Are you guys done with the training? Aurea has given up and couldn't get anything from Uriel. It would be better if you do something about it before Aurea decided to swallow her," Amaryllis said.
"She failed? That's really a surprise," Elena asked and was wide awake the moment she heard Amaryllis' voice.
"Alright. I'll deal with it," Mykel said as he walked back and sat at the table. "Bring her here," Mykel looked at Amaryllis.
"Here? Are you sure?" Amaryllis asked with a confused look.
Mykel nodded and he looked serious about it, and so Amaryllis went back to the Empyrean World and brought Uriel to the cabin with her. When she brought Uriel into the cabin and put her on the floor, Mykel was looking at Uriel who slowly regained her consciousness.
Uriel's vision was blurry, but she could see a person sitting on the chair, and when her vision became clear, it was Mykel and not Aurea. She looked around and she didn't find Aurea anywhere, and she had no idea where she was at.
"Are you done?" Uriel asked as she sat on the floor and stared at Mykel. "You won't be able to get anything from me, and the only thing you can do is kill me," Uriel pointed out.
Mykel stood up and that alone was enough to make Uriel quiet and nervously stared at him. Elena and Amaryllis only watched on the bed and wondered what was Mykel planning to do to her.
Mykel activated his [Supremacy] skill aura, and immediately Elena, Amaryllis, and Uriel looked at him with admiration. They were staring at him without blinking their eyes, and then suddenly Uriel went on her knees and lowered her head at him.
Elena and Amaryllis were shocked by the sudden change in Uriel's actions. They couldn't believe that she went on her knees and lowered her head at Mykel like a servant. When they approached Mykel, they could see that Mykel was taken aback by Uriel's actions as well.
"Mykel? What's happening to her?" Elena asked and looked at Uriel who didn't even move a muscle and kept bowing to Mykel.
"I expected it, but I never thought this actually work," Mykel said and kept staring down at Uriel. "I'll explain it to you later, for now just let me do my work here," Mykel continued.
Elena and Amaryllis decided to stand on the side so Mykel could do his thing. They looked at Mykel slowly bowing down and gently grabbed Uriel's shoulders to lift her. He then covered his hand to Uriel with a gentle smile on his face.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
"Take my hand," Mykel said as he stared at Uriel.
Uriel moved her hand and grabbed Mykel's hand without hesitation. She stood up and kept staring at him with respect, and she was bewitched by his aura.
"My Lord..." Uriel said weakly. "Why are you here, My Lord?" Uriel asked in disbelief.
Those words shocked both Amaryllis and Elena that their eyes were wide open. They thought they misheard it, but they both were looking at each other and realized that they weren't because Mykel was dumbfounded by it as well.
"(Can you give back her power?)" Mykel turned around and looked at Elena.
Elena nodded and removed her life energy from Uriel's body.

Uriel looked at her body and realized she had regained all her powers back. She flapped her wings and she looked happy, but then suddenly Mykel put his hand on her cheek. She looked at Mykel who was smiling gently at her and caressed her cheeks that was enough to make her eyes glimmer in tears.
"Why are you crying," Mykel asked as he brought her to the table and let her sit next to him.
"My Lord, I have failed and undeserved your kindness," Uriel answered as she lowered her head.
Mykel judgingly stared at Uriel and he felt disappointed even though she respected and admired him. The reason was because, in Uriel's eyes, he wasn't Mykel, but The Lord that she served. But he decided to use the opportunity to gain something from her while he could.
Another thing was that Mykel was curious about Uriel and why she ignored Elena and Amaryllis even though they were her enemies. She should have asked him to help her, but the fact she didn't do it and just focused on him as if Amaryllis and Elena didn't exist made him wonder.
"(Leave us alone)" Mykel looked at Amaryllis and Elena.
Amary
"How was the mission," Mykel asked.
Uriel jolted from her seat and then went down to her knees once more and lowered her head at Mykel. She started to tremble and that was the first time Amaryllis could see fear in Uriel's expression. She was surprised that Uriel was scared of Mykel even though she said that she didn't have fear emotions.
"I have failed, My Lord. I have disappointed you again. I will not ask for forgiveness, My Lord. Punish me, and send me down to Hell for eternity and take my wings and my light away," Uriel said as her whole body was trembling in fear.
"Answer my question," Mykel said with a serious tone.
Uriel squirmed and nodded her head repeatedly in fear.
"I..." Uriel paused. "I couldn't get the seeds back, and I fell for their trap. I'm ashamed..." Uriel answered as she kept squirming.
"What am I to you?" Mykel asked.
Uriel started to put her forehead on the floor and she looked terrified by that question.
"My master, who gives me purpose. The source of my knowledge and the only light that shines brightly," Uriel answered.
"Raise your head, Uriel," Mykel said gently.
Uriel raised her head and looked at Mykel, and he realized that she didn't see his face or appearance, she was staring at The Lord that she served. He wondered what she saw in her eyes when she looked at him.
"What do I look like?" Mykel asked.
"What do you mean, My Lord? I don't understand?" Uriel asked back as she furrowed her eyebrows.
"My appearance," Mykel answered.
"I'm incapable to describe your excellence, My Lord," Uriel said as she shook her head and kept staring into Mykel's eyes.
Mykel thought that he could imagine what The Lord looked like, but it turned out even Uriel was unable to describe it. He decided to brush it off since it wasn't important, so he asked for other things that would help him.
"Tell me everything that you know, and I will forgive you," Mykel said.
Uriel nodded her head and she looked so relieved when she knew she would be forgiven.
After hours of listening to Uriel, Mykel ordered her to stay in the cabin until he gave her a new order. Uriel stayed without asking anything and put all the books that she brought with her in the cabin. Mykel then left and went to the Empyrean World to tell Elena and Amaryllis what he found.
"Where is she?" Amaryllis asked.
"In the cabin, making herself at home," Mykel answered and then he saw Hera, Odin, and Loki enter the hall. "She will stay there for now, and it appears she mistook me for The Lord," Mykel added.
"We heard about that. How is that possible?" Hera asked and looked at Mykel curiously.
"It's a skill that I got from the seeds," Mykel answered.
"The seeds?" Odin asked with a confused look.
"This is going to be a long day, so have a seat. I'll tell you everything that I know," Mykel said as he walked toward the table.
