Chapter 72 Welcome back.
Sasha walked all the way to her office, and not a single employee of hers could see what she saw. They couldn't see the black smoke that was lingering on her back, the whispers, or the cold that she felt. It felt like she was slowly being dragged into the abyss, but thankfully she had her [First Virtue: Humility] skill that kept her calm.
As soon as she entered her office, the black smoke that lingered on her back immediately covered the whole office. She could see the smoke forming at her desk, and it slowly resembled a human form. Lucifer appeared and sat in her chair with a smile on her face.
"This reminds me of the memories when I was still inside his novel," Lucifer said as he looked around. "Humans really love living in a tall building, looking down on people," Lucifer continued.
"What do you want? Just leave me alone," Sasha asked as she glared at Lucifer.
"Leave you alone? Have you not heard what I said earlier? Your soul isn't the only thing that belongs to me now. Your senses have become mine as well," Lucifer answered as he stood up and slowly walked toward Sasha. "Sooner or later, your body will be mine. The last thing you will have is just your mind, but then it will be mine as well," Lucifer continued as he stood in front of Sasha.
Sasha tried to push Lucifer, but it turned into black smoke, and it made Lucifer chuckle. She realized that Lucifer didn't have a body, it was just something that could be called her imagination. She then closed her eyes and covered her ears because it slowly took a toll on her mind.
"Leave!" Sasha shouted so loud that her secretary could hear her voice from outside her office.
"Miss Sasha?! Are you alright?!" The secretary asked as soon as she entered Sasha's office.
The secretary saw Sasha was covering her ears and she was frozen still in the middle of the room. The secretary was too scared to approach her, but then she slowly looked at Sasha turning her body around. She was terrified when Sasha's gaze toward her was so intense and terrifying that she felt like she was about to get killed.
"Leave..." Sasha said in her trembling voice.
The secretary left hurriedly and she couldn't scream or breathe because of fear. Sasha couldn't see what was beyond the door because the black smoke became thicker and thicker. She fell down to her knees as tears fell down to her chin because no matter how hard she tried to cover her ears, she could still hear Lucifer's voice in her head.
When she was on the brink of collapsing, the black smoke suddenly disappeared, and Lucifer's voice also disappeared in her head. She moaned with relief as she looked at the bright sun that brightened her office. She had no idea what had happened, but she was glad it was over.
(At the same time in the headquarters of the Rebirth Guild)

"This is interesting," Mykel said as he looked at his [Devil Possession] skill that was still intact on him.
When Mykel tried to activate the skill, nothing happened as he waited for a few seconds. Suddenly a notification appeared right in front of him.
[Due to the non-existent [Character], the skill cannot be used at the moment]
"Figure..." Mykel said as he leaned on his chair and sighed. "Find all the demon princesses' locations," Mykel ordered.
[Searching...]

[Character [Mazikeen] is dead. Would you like to bring the Character [Mazikeen] back to life?]
"No," Mykel answered, and he was worried about answers where the System couldn't find all of them. "What's the reason for you not being able to find them?" Mykel asked.
[The only possible answer is because all the [Characters] that were mentioned are out of reach that the system cannot find. The possibility of them living in a world or place where the System has not registered is very high]
[Summoning the [Characters] that are listed...]
[The System failed for various reasons]
"If I connect all the worlds that exist, can you find them?" Mykel asked.
[The System can register all the existing worlds for approximately 30 days with a high risk of getting interrupted and corrupted by the new system]
"Don't, find the safest method," Mykel answered.
[The safest method would be if the system kept hidden within its Owner. The system can register all the existing worlds through where the Owner is. The chance of the system being interrupted is still high, but it is safe from corruption by the new system]
"So you want me to travel to these worlds as you work behind my back?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised.
[Yes, the system will register not only the world but to re-register all the [Characters] that were a part of the system if the Owner meets them in person. It is the safest route that the system can find]
"Let's do that," Mykel said as he stood up.
Mykel went to the penthouse where the boys were with Jeanne and the others. Everyone was gathered in the living room, and they had no idea why he suddenly brought them all together. He had been doing nothing the past two weeks, and the only one who stayed by his side was Elena.
"We are leaving, pack your stuff," Mykel said.
"Leaving? Where to?" Rozan asked with his eyebrows raised.
"You'll know when we arrived. Just bring enough clothes, and meet me in the lobby," Mykel answered and then left.
Everyone looked at each other and wondered what it was, but one thing they could tell was that he looked way better than before. Something made him excited that they could tell from the way he spoke since they knew him very well.
Mykel brought them to the airport and flew in their private jet. Elena looked excited about it since she knew about what had happened, but she kept it a secret from the others.
They looked outside the window and realized where they were based on the map on their phones. Mykel brought them to Norway, and they were curious if he brought them there to go to the location of the coordinates that he remembered.
Their visit was unknown by Magnus or Norway's government, so nobody knew they were there. Although it went unnoticed, their faces got recognized by the people in the airport and posted it online. It was already too late for Magnus or anyone to meet them because Mykel immediately left the airport and rented a car.
Mykel brought them to Hardangervidda National Park, and they remembered that it was where the door was to meet the Norse Gods. They looked at each other and wondered why suddenly Mykel had brought them there.
As they were going deeper into the park, they saw so many soldiers stationed there, but not a single one of them bothered by their presence. They all then stood right in front of the giant door made of stone with leather, claws, and fangs decorated on the sides.
"Are we going in?" Jeanne asked.
"Yes," Mykel answered as he grabbed something out of thin air. He brought everyone's old weapons back and then tossed them to everyone. "Since we are going to an unknown world, it's better to be prepared, right?" Mykel asked as he looked at them.
Everyone was still in disbelief, but then they all looked at the notification in front of them.
[The System has successfully brought back the skills and overwritten the existing system]
"Welcome back," Mykel said and looked at them with a smile.
