Long Chen realized that there were two assassins! One of them used a bow. Based on the strength of the arrow shooting towards the Three Thousand Star Clusters, he determined that the assassin was at the Eighth Earthly Martial Stage. While the assassin running towards him was most likely at the Ninth Earthly Martial Stage based on their speed!

“Ninth Earthly Martial Stage ...” Suxue detected the person running towards them and chose to stand in front of Long Chen rather than pursuing the bow user. She understood how serious this was when there was someone at the Ninth Earthly Martial Stage coming after Long Chen.

Suxue wanted him to stay quietly beside her, but Long Chen refused. They were in the midst of attacking him, so there was no reason to play it safe. This was different from what Chen Xu had done—this was assassination! If Long Chen allowed the other party to live, he could get killed for real next time!

“Blood Warp!” Long Chen disappeared and stopped one Li away. The place was covered in a dense layer of leaves and mist, so he used Sight and found the archer. Long Chen was just a hundred meters away from him!

The assassin thought he had killed Long Chen and was preparing to escape.

Is that why the Clan Leader is taking care of him?

“You killed my son! I will kill you with the same blade tonight!” Chen Yang howled.

“Who is the other person?” Long Chen wasn’t scared. He had transformed and covered his body in blood-red scales. He was a killing machine right now.

Thankfully, Suxue was here as a witness to testify that Chen Yang was trying to kill Long Chen. He could go all-out against Chen Yang tonight. Still, Long Chen was wary of the other person. He had a feeling that they were even more deadly.
