Lehat sneered at the closed gate. He might have been Zennad's friend, but he wouldn't tolerate such insolence.

"Charge!" he shouted, pointing his spear at the gate. "Destroy the gate quickly."

Suddenly, a creak sounded from the gate, and slowly, it was pushed open.

Two men dressed in long flowing robes emerged from the gate, swaying gently in the breeze. Behind them were five hundred men in strange-looking armor—these were the Celestial Heavenly Store Knights.

The two leading men were Ren Chin and Xiao Ming.

Ren Chin was a head taller than Xiao Ming, while Xiao Ming was sturdy and well-built.

They stared at the hundreds of thousands of Necoris soldiers with calm expressions.

"Have you detected any powerful opponents?" Ren Chin asked with slight anticipation in his voice.

"What do you mean by powerful opponents?" Xiao Ming rolled his eyes.

"You know what I mean."

"I've only detected one. The others are too weak."

"Same here. I'll take the strongest; you handle the slightly weaker ones. As for the common soldiers, let the knights deal with them."

Their voices weren't loud, but the warriors on the battlefield weren't ordinary people. Their hearing was sharp, and they heard the conversation loud and clear.
