Four Sisters From Nowhere

Chapter 10

Chapter 10: The Fish Took The Bait

Regardless of Alexandra’s status, Kaiden was the chairman of the company so Sasha had no regard for anyone else as long as she could get to Kaiden.

She was prepared for the woman in front of her to get angry and question her. She even prepared her wordings next.

However, Alexandra burst into laughter suddenly and rested her hand on Sasha’s shoulder.

She was going to scout for a few pretty ladies but to her surprise, an infamous streamer in the company grabbed Kaiden’s attention. Her plan was already halfway done if this continued.

‘Isn’t he acting a little too thoughtless for keeping their relationship a tight secret although they got together? None of his employees knows this.’

Sasha was dumbfounded. Everything was contrary to what she expected.

‘Why does Ms. Quinn seem to be fine with this instead of getting mad?’

“Ms. Quinn, I…” She continued staring at Alexandra sheepishly.

Alexandra only realized that she overreacted. She regained her composure and cleared her throat before saying, “It’s fine, I know everything now. As for you, just do what you have to do. I understand completely.”

Then, she left Sasha who was still confused by herself.

Alexandra went to Kaiden’s office.

She noticed him playing mobile games while sitting behind his desk with his legs on it.

“You’re really enjoying your time, it seems like you adapted well. I’m relieved.”

Alexandra nodded with satisfaction before approaching Kaiden, “Actually, you don’t have to hide your feelings if you found someone you like. We understand and we will never force you to do something you don’t like!”

Kaiden could not figure out what Alexandra wanted by her sudden barge in and her strange acts.

He edged his chair quietly to escape from her aura and he felt a lot better.

“Wait, sis. Why are you acting weird? What are you doing?”

‘She ran into my office all of a sudden for no reason and said such confusing things. Did something stimulated her?’

“I know all about you and Sasha. Don’t worry, I’m open-minded. Just leave my mom to me, I promise that you have our blessing!”

Alexandra was portraying herself to be mature by not minding that the man who could be her future husband with the possibility of 25 percent was with another woman.

Looking at her acting all altruistic, Kaiden finally understood what was happening.

She was worried that she might have to get married to him so she made the arrangements to put him in the streaming company hurriedly. He guessed that the Sasha incident was within her plan, too.

“Sis, don’t get excited just yet! Sasha and I are just colleagues! I guess you already know what happened in the company, my ex-girlfriend was trying to humiliate me so I had to use Sasha to make her mad.”

He was expressing that it was just a joke that she should not take seriously with an exasperated smile.

“Are you serious?” Alexandra refused to believe him. ‘He did so much just to provoke his ex?’

“Of course! Did you think that I am a womanizer?”

Kaiden put on an innocent expression.

“Tell me, who told you that I was with Sasha?” asked Kaiden. ‘How dare that person make false rumors behind my back! I shall punish him!’

“Sasha told me herself. Why would I ask you in person if not because of her?” Alexandra rolled her eyes.

‘Sasha?’

Kaiden was astonished. He clearly did not expect that it was her.

It seemed like he really underestimated her. He thought that she would turn over a new leaf after the incident but she became worse instead.

There was no need for him to be considerate to her anymore if that was the case.

“There will always be pitiful-looking people making you want to help out of sympathy. It’s a shame that she wanted to advance by taking advantage of you…”

Kaiden’s smile was bitter, he did not feel like keeping someone like her around him. He informed the human resources department immediately to ask her to resign.

None of the company’s employees knew what happened.

All they knew was the streamer chosen by Kaiden to be the company’s focus on training that morning was fired the next moment. The dramatic change left others speechless.

Alexandra did not disclose anything about the incident either.

‘How dare she lie to me? She must be looking for huge trouble.’

Realizing that she could no longer complete her agenda, Alexandra had no problem with firing Sasha.

Kaiden’s office door was pushed open abruptly and someone barged into the room in big steps. Sasha was holding her phone as she stared at Kaiden with her eyes bulged.

“Why did you fire me?” She lost her composure.

“Shouldn’t you be clearer of what you’ve done? I gave you a chance but what did you do next?” Kaiden furrowed his brows.

“I can’t believe that I fell for your lie, I didn’t think that you have the guts to lie to me! I guess you’re still unaware of the consequences of lying to your leader in the company.”

Alexandra found it hilarious that Sasha was not repenting at all. Did she think that her tears would be of any use at this point?

Sasha finally understood what happened at that moment.

However, she thought that getting fired for few words was a bit too harsh.

“Mr. Collins, you know my family situation, I can’t lose the job! I was just overwhelmed…”
