Chapter 231: Purging impurities!

Chapter 231: Purging impurities!

"Elder was cursed by whom?" Whittaker asked. He was barely able to keep his calm. He wanted to beat the shit out of the person that cursed his teacher!

"I was afflicted with this curse during the Grand war held 500 years ago," Elder Zachary said with narrowed eyes filled with bitterness. Because this was the greatest disgrace of his life, and also the reason for his biggest regret.

"Yeah, it was during the warring time when Abaddon's vessel placed a curse on father," Nina added.

"The evil god Abaddon," Whittaker muttered silently. Although he found out that the supposed enemy is an evil god that once threatened to bring ruin all over the awakened continent years ago, Whittaker didn't falter. Rather, his intent to battle surged.

His teacher enemy was also his enemy, and he will one day teach Abaddon hard lessons if Its soul dares to return to the Awakened continent.

"Father, hurry up and absorb the mana channel opening elixir to open the remaining five mana channels and clear out the cursive impurities too. I am sure that you will feel a lot better once the curse leaves your body." Nina excitedly said while looking at Zachary.

"I believe so too," Zachary calmly exclaimed, and he then gratefully looked at Whittaker, "Young friend, even if the mysterious space in the middle of the forehead is not the aforementioned spirit room, I will still be grateful for the divine treasure you bestowed me without hesitation. Your deeds just show that I am not wrong about your character, and you are bound to become a heroic character that will be respected by the world."

The mana channel opening elixir was nothing sort of a divine treasure just by considering the fact that it can defy what is destined and help other more mana in their body than what their max potential allows.

Whittaker had the tendency to help those in need, and although it was because he was partially a battle maniac and partially a good-minded person but mostly because of his upbringing. "No need to mention it." Whittaker remembered his childhood days, and he continued by saying, "During harsh winter, when I was younger, the rich families of the Elihu town would provide rations to all the houses. And we were helped by them too, several times, If they weren't kind to the peoples then surviving those harsh winter would be hard for most of us. Those time, when the rations arrived at our house, I felt very happy. Even Mother Lin, Sister Elisha, and Elder brother Hera were happy. I know it because I saw them smiling widely. That day, I also promised to make others happy by helping them. Though everything needed money. Be it food, clothes, medicine. And I want to become the richest man! So that one day, I will improve the quality of the life of those unfortunate."

That's one of the many reasons why Whittaker is obsessed with money, and also the reason why he helped the city master of the Redcliff and her children. Naturally, the young boy won't blindly help people. Bad people will be punished and the goods ones will be provided with help. The punishment and reward will be equal to how bad and good they are. He might provide them with a life-saving Grace or hurt them badly depending on his judgment.

"From the looks of it, I assume that you helped many. Believe it, at least, I am very happy." Elder Zachary said with a wide smile.

He was gently looking at Whittaker. It was a gaze filled with approval.

"Well, then I should start with opening the rest of my mana channels," Zachary said, he starting taking the mana channel opening elixirs.

The incredible force of the elixir efficiently opened his hard-struck mana channels and also cleared the cursive impurities from them. The impurities were purging out of his body with an incredible speed.

Uuaa*

In about a dozen minutes, Elder Zachary puked out a massive amount of cursive black impurities from his mouth, and the amount was so great that Nina theorized that her father's body has been cleared of more than half of the curse placed by Abaddon.

The curse was really mysterious and over the years, they couldn't get a single remedy for the curse. It has ravaged Elder Zachary's youth and vitality, but the mysterious curse was hiding in the unthinkable mana channels. 'Thankfully, little brother has found that humans possess mana channels, and provided the mana channel opening elixir which also works as an impurities purger. And is helping her father regain freedom from the curse. By the time the tenth mana channel opens he will be free of Abaddon curse!'

Nina felt equally appreciated Whittaker. Because a normal person won't hesitate to hide a treasured elixir for himself, but Whittaker gave it to them, signifying how much he trusts and like them, treating them as their own family.

This was truly the case which defied blood runs thicker than water. Sometimes the relation one makes in life is stronger than blood relatives.

"Finally, only the tenth mana channel remains!" Elder Zachary sighed with a satisfied look. Although he smelled just like a rotten egg and his clothes were drenched with the cursive impurities, he was full of vitality.

Over 500 years, the curse has indeed spread throughout his body and mana channels, but he had regularly taken care of the curse in his body, he just wasn't able to locate the source of the curse. But now, he was sure that the curse resided in the mana channels. Each time he cleared his body from the cursive impurities, the curse in his mana channels will seep back to his body, and continuously eat his vitality.

"I can sense that the source of the curse is behind the opening of the tenth mana channel!" Elder Zachary said, he was able to sense it somehow.

"My gut feeling says that you should go all out and use multiple mana channel opening elixirs to purge the curse forever," Whittaker said, he knew that the incredible force will not hurt its consumer even if taken in excess. Plus, they were helping Zachary in purging the cursive impurities. Thus, the words he said made senses

"I was planning to do something same," Zachary said before he drank three bottles of the mana channel opening elixir under Whittaker and Nina's expectful stare.
