The LV0 Thatched Lord’s Mansion was built out of low-tier, white materials.

However, Zi Liyuan still took out ten pieces of stone and, on the edge of his territory, pieced together a Stone Altar.

As soon as he noticed an addition, "Low-tier Altar (White)," in the building section of the lord interface, he knew the darn thing was complete.

At the same time, when he examined the Stone Altar, an information panel appeared.

Sacrifice resources to obtain Subjects; as for how much to sacrifice to get one Subject, well, that’s for you to figure out.

"If not for the explanations from Dragon Academy, I might’ve been conned out of resources by this trash altar," he grumbled.

If your sacrifice isn’t enough, you won’t get a single Subject, and the altar, that greedy dog, will just gobble up the resources.

But for Zi Liyuan, this mechanism wasn’t half bad.

He summoned ten Undead Skeletons and herded them onto the Stone Altar.

With a burst of colorful light, the ten Undead Skeletons phased from solid to transparent until they vanished, and a dark light emerged above the altar.

A clicking sound of bones rubbing together echoed from within the darkness, and a supple White Jade Skeleton materialized before Zi Liyuan.

Although he had no clue what Primary Intelligence would allow this White Jade Skeleton to achieve, it sure had to be stronger than the run-of-the-mill Little Skeletons summoned by his skills.

"From today onward, you’ll be called White Jade No. 1. The Skeleton Collection Squad for stone gathering is under your command," Zi Liyuan instructed earnestly.

"Clickety-clack!"

White Jade No. 1 clacked its jaw and then nodded.

"Well, well, understands nodding, not too shabby. Off you go then, make sure you boost our stone collection efficiency," Zi Liyuan directed.

"Clickety-clack!"

White Jade No. 1 nodded again and then surveyed its surroundings. Watching squads of Skeletons lugging back stones, it sprinted towards the mountain range.

"That’s the spirit, keep it up!"

Pleased, Zi Liyuan nodded and muttered to himself, then summoned another ten Little Skeletons that had just returned with resources. He shoved them into the altar and hit the sacrifice button again.

"Dear lucky goddess wifey, another high-intelligence Undead Subject, please, one with construction skills this time!"

A lord of the Sea of Realms, even an apprentice, shouldn’t have to get his hands dirty with building construction. That’s just demeaning.

The attributes hadn’t altered one bit, but the skill had changed from Primary Intelligence to Primary Construction Wisdom. This one had become specialized in building skills.

"Brilliant! Lucky goddess wifey, I’m absolutely smitten with your sleek black thigh-highs!"

And so, he went on to create a total of ten White Jade Skeletons, with White Jade No. 1 and No. 2 using Primary Intelligence for managing stone and timber collection squads, while the remaining eight were all about Primary Construction Wisdom.

Of course, Zi Liyuan set these eight White Jade Skeletons, numbered three to ten, to start constructing the needed facilities.

Dwellings, pointless for Undead, weren’t built.

And taverns, well, they only recruited blue-grade hero units at low tier, and Zi Liyuan had no interest in those either. So, there was no need to build one right away.

All the resources at the moment were piling up inside the Thatched Lord’s Mansion, taking over his sleeping quarters. So, the first order of business: build a warehouse.

"You eight, alongside the Thatched Lord’s Mansion, get started on a warehouse first," he commanded.

Under Zi Liyuan’s direction, the White Jade Brothers began hauling stone and timber as they set to the task of erecting a warehouse.

Thankfully, the rules of the Sea of Realms played like a game, or else nobody knew how long it would take to construct a stone and timber warehouse.

Now though, with eight White Jade Skeletons on the job and their Primary Construction Wisdom, the time needed for building was significantly reduced.

It was supposed to take five Subjects an hour to complete the construction.

Each additional Subject could reduce that by ten minutes, down to a minimum of ten minutes for completion.

The eight White Jade Skeletons, all equipped with Primary Construction Wisdom, meant they got a bonus for constructing facilities, reducing the time required to the bare minimum of ten minutes.

Over the next hour, a marketplace, barracks, quarry, lumber yard, and slaughterhouse sprung up one by one.

The quarry was established at the foot of the mountain range, the lumber yard right at the edge of the forest.

With the completion of these two buildings, specialized collection tools appeared inside, boosting the work efficiency of the Skeleton Collection Squad significantly.

Plus, as these workshops were completed, wooden trolleys suitable for transport showed up, allowing for quick, bulk transfer of materials from the two workshops directly to the storage area of the lord’s domain.

After the barracks was built, Zi Liyuan tossed in ten Little Skeletons for training.
