*vroom* As the sleek car zipped down the open road, Zhao Tian relaxed in the back seat, a smile spreading across his face as he read a message from his mother on his phone. He turned his gaze to the woman who was leaning on his chest, her eyes were closed as she was sleeping, his arm draped around her shoulder.

Hun Xiang who was driving the car, slowed down the vehicle as she reached a group of apartments and quickly parked the car in front of an apartment.

She turned her head and looked at Zhao Tian "Uh..." she felt a little awkward as she didn't know how to call him.

Zhao Tian shifted his eyes to the view of the small apartment outside the window before turning back to gently nudge Cai Luo's cheek "Luo, get up." he whispered softly.

Cai Luo's eyebrows wrinkled but she didn't open her eyes and nuzzled her face in his chest "No, Tian... let me sleep a bit more."

Zhao Tian couldn't help but chuckle and pinched her cheeks "Get uppppp. We have arrived."

"Ahh!" Cai Luo opened her eyes, feeling a slight pain in her cheek and looked at Zhao Tian.

She playfully lifted her hand and gently squeezed his cheek, a playful glint in her eyes "Why are you disturbing my sleep?" she asked pouting her lips. Hun Xiang spoke "Lady Luo, we have arrived."

"Oh?" Cai Luo looked outside and saw the apartment.

She sensed around the area but she couldn't sense any cultivators "Eh? Xiang, you said, your house is close to the Lycan Syndicate Kingdom. But we are in an apartment."

Ehhh? Hun Xing was dumbfounded "What I meant was, Lady Luo, this is the closest place to the Lycan Kingdom where normal people can live."

"Coffee for me too." Cai Luo spoke glimpsing at Zhao Tian.

Zhao Tian shook his head helplessly and Hun Xiang pointed at a room "You can take that room, it's quite big." With a nod, Zhao Tian walked to the door and twisted the doorknob, entering the room. Cai Luo walked past him and jumped on the fluffy bed "Haah. So, we are going to share a room, Tian."

Zhao Tian chuckled faintly "We are entering the kingdom at night, so don't worry... I won't lay my hands on you."

Ohhh! Cai Luo squinted her eyes upon hearing this. Damn it!

As the sun started its gradual descent in the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the terrace outside Zhao Tian's room, he and Cai Luo sat leisurely, savoring the freshly brewed coffee. Zhao Tian narrowed his eyes upon hearing this "You think we will die?"

Cai Luo let out a sigh "There is a 90 percent chance we will die if we go to fight those Lycan Syndicate today. Even I underestimated their strength."

With a slight frown, Zhao Tian spoke "I have told you, Luo, not to worry. We can handle this..."

Cai Luo's heart shook and her eyes were filled with worry. "Tian... there is still time. Think about it, we need even more strength."

"We can come back later with more people and we can fight them. Then we can surely win."

Zhao Tian squinted his eyes as he looked at her. "Luo, I have already talked about this with you. If you are scared, you can leave... but I am staying here."

Zhao Tian just stayed silent and took another sip of his coffee.

*tap* Hearing footsteps, Cai Luo turned her head and smiled looking at Hun Xiang "Xiang."
