I Became A System

Chapter 120 - Aaron's Soul

Aaron was frozen, couldn't comprehend things that the silhouette said. It even made his knowledge laughable because he couldn't use any of it.

He was just stiff, unwanted to move to understand everything.

But the silhouette cut through his thoughts. "Can you understand any of it?" the silhouette asked Aaron.

"Of course not. Obviously, everything that you implanted into my brain was just… fake? And I even dare to believe it." Aaron retorted, slightly aggressively.

The silhouette laughed softly. "I am guilty of it, but not everything was on me. It was already in you. The Pixie Root and the Fear System were all on you. I don't have any involvement in it. I just altered my words slightly to fit with everything. If I tell it to you, I don't know if you'll still accept my offer."

Aaron glared at the silhouette after hearing it. It was as if he was scammed, and not just as if, but he really was scammed. And the reason is to save his world...?

"Be thankful that I loved Ellena. If not, it will be the doom of your world. " Aaron said.

The silhouette laughed awkwardly. "Sorry? You can't blame me. We have to grab anything that can help us save the world, even if it is risky. And your existence on Earth was an anomaly, and no one even guarded your soul. Thus, it made us grab you."

"It was already risky to turn back time. The Goddess of Time and Space was ill because she altered the time when abundant energy was stopping her. Demons at that time were just as powerful as ever, and even the demon god could rival her connection with time. But fortunately, we succeeded in altering time."

Aaron spoke once again. "So, what am I? I have already erased your concerns from my concerns from the past. Hell, I can't think of it as credible to believe."

Aaron finally realized that the silhouette was just a wish for great things to come for his world. After spending 15 years as Ellena's invisible useless guardian, he cursed, and cursed, and cursed, all for Ellena's sake. And just understanding the silhouette, he realized how similar he was to him.

He sighed before the silhouette spoke again.

"We don't know actually. Our universe is just a small part of the multiverse. That's why the other planets in our universe are just our plantation for energy to serve in our world."

Aaron cut him.

"How did you know Earth in the first place? I believe that my world was not part of your universe."

"You really are smart."

"Cut with the crap. Just say it."

"Okay! At first, I was just visiting your universe to find some 'scrapes' that would help our world. Imagine your universe is so abundant that even a little scrape is a toll for us. And I want to let you know that it is possible to travel through different universes, but impossible to alter or bring souls into our universe. However, it is only impossible if the soul doesn't have a guardian. And you don't have one, so I have the ability to bring you to ours."

Aaron sighed after hearing it. He groaned as he realized he was a considered 'scrape' in his own world. He can't believe he's special because it's clearly contradictory to the fact that he has no guardian in his soul. But it also means that he is an anomaly, and it gave him the situation where he had someone dear to him.

'It isn't bad I guess.'

Thus, he just ignored it and didn't push any further regarding his soul.

"So…? What's next?"

The silhouette was reluctant to continue his speech.

"Well… I kind of altered my words to you to make you work for me. But that is all in the past! You don't mind it now, don't you?" the silhouette slowly asked.

Aaron sighed. "If it was me in the past, I would clearly make it a big deal. But right now…"

"You don't mind it?" the silhouette cut.

"Yes."

"Thank you very much! I was agitated a bit thinking that it was a mistake telling it to you."

"Now. What do you mean by wanting me to join you?"

"Well, it was just an idea from me, but others are voting for it. I want you to join us since you are powerful enough to contribute to our cause."

"Ugh… If Ellena was there, then it's good. So what about my capabilities?" Aaron asked, not ignoring little details.

"Even though I don't know everything little about your system, I can tell you a glimpse of what we discovered. You can exploit it, and it means you can create another system apart from the fear system you are currently in. And if you succeed, Ellena will be stronger than you can imagine." A gleam appeared in the silhouette's face, but of course, Aaron can't see it.

"So, you're saying that… I can make another system for Ellena? And about that promotion I had; it was just a joke on my system?"

"I don't know. It is for you to discover since it's in your soul. But that's all we know. Your capabilities are vast, so be sure to exploit it."

Aaron sighed again, seemingly releasing much of the stress he had been carrying since earlier. Inside his mind, he was confused about what really was going on. Since the Pixie Root, Evolution Tree, and even the Fear System, was it all created by his soul? If he can't control it, what will happen?

He was just thinking of it and didn't realize that it was already morning, and Ellena woke her up.

"Huh?" he mumbled involuntarily after seeing Ellena's face up close to him.

"Gah! Ellena! What are you doing?!" he exclaimed and moved backward.

"You were mumbling something earlier. I wanted to hear it, so I got near your mouth." Ellena responded.

"Don't ever do it again. By the way, where's Thalia?" Aaron asked when he noticed Thalia was not in the room.

"She's in the restroom," Ellena said and adjusted her posture.

"Okay. So what did you do last night?" he asked, but deep inside, he was thinking of other things. It was his nature that seemed to be joking with him.

If his soul is an anomaly and works on its own, it explains why he doesn't have a guardian. It is the only reason. But he was also thinking about how to control his soul. The creation of Pixie Root, the connection with the Evolution Tree, and also the Fear System. What are those, and how were they created?

He is not from this world, so how does it compliment the world's rules?

All of it was a mystery. He didn't just know it.. Not just because of his thirst for knowledge, but also for Ellena's sake.
