I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 449: I'll Fight with You

Chapter 449: I'll Fight with You

Qing and Xing appeared fully. They were now fifty feet tall and their heads shared the same body. The hand that took Irus was closed, cupping the demon inside while the twins laughed hysterically.

"What did you think? You could easily get away from me?" the twins chorused. Their voices had now combined and it sounded ethereal as a series of whispered echoes followed it. "You even created an interdimensional connection just to contact your demon friend. But he can't help you now. The Sun will light up the skies and will punish the evil.

"You talk too much, do you know that?"

A series of sparkling black light ignited inside the palms of the hand that took Irus. The twins gasp as they couldn't believe that their hand was vanishing while the black light took over their body.

"You trespassed our connection and even told us a lot of bullsh*t," Irus chuckled. "What annoying rip-offs."

The sparkling black light exploded entirely, swallowing the twins' giant figure in an intense heatless flame. Elliot couldn't feel any warmth from the light, but the twins were screaming like their souls were being ripped away from their bodies in pain.

Irus's figure appeared from the flames. He hovered right in front of the giant's chest with a bored expression. "You actually thought you'd win a fight against me, huh? Even when you bear the powers of the Twelve Sun, you aren't them so stop acting like you're something."

After those words escaped from the demon's lips, he raised his hand and waved his index and middle finger like he was waving a wand. Behind him, the flames that was consuming the twins slolwy formed a vortex and was slowly sucked in the middle.

"It seems like I need to help you," Irus said as he looked behind him. The twins had now recovered from the pain and they were smiling as they looked at him. "These monsters need a treatment from someone with real powers."

Irus turned around and closed his hands. The flaming orb that was previous the twins was thrown in the rip in space had slowly healed. Not long after, the rip in space had fully closed and the skies had completely brightened once more.

"That was" Elliot trailed off. "You finally saw their power. It's good that it was enough to change your mind."

"It was," Irus said. "And I also want to learn how to take them and learn how to cultivate. I'm sure the original Twelve Suns had left them scrolls or teachings on how to cultivate their magic."

"Really?" The words took Elliot's attention, and the boy looked at the demon with curious eyes. "So, can I do this method too?"

"Of course," Irus returned to his seat and crossed his legs again. "Not. Of course, not. You're a human with a limit. Limits can be a strain, you know."

"But I know the secret to surpass the limit," Elliot whispered. "The Manual told me that I can surpass the level 100 limit of the Adventurers."

"Then you have to wait until then," Irus said. "Once you have fully surpassed the limit, I'll teach you myself. But you have to know this first."

Elliot listened intently as the demon took a sip of his tea. Irus took a deep sigh, placing his cup back and looking at Elliot in the eyes, orbs filled with intensity.

"The thing inside your book, the voice, that wasn't me," Irus said. "The voice I had also heard it. I believe it's older than both of us, and more powerful than anything in this world and the others."

"You mean its creator?" Allen asked. "Do you have any clue on who or what it is?"

Irus shrugged. "No. But I do know that the thing that controls the Manual is an entity that's comparable to all Eternals combined. It not only has the power to alter the tides of fate, but its powerful enough to shift fate itself. Allen, after you surpass your limit, do not use the book's powers anymore."

"Irus"

"You have to promise me," Irus said, his voice filled with nothing but authority. "Promise me that you won't use the book."

"O-Okay," Allen whispered. "I need to wake up now. Please come here immediately."

"Give me two minutes," Irus said. "Stall them as much as you can for two minutes, and I'll come to you. When that happens, we'll best ths sh*t out of those b*tches."

"Okay," Elliot smiled. "Thank you."

With that, Elliot vanished from their connection and he was taken back to reality. With Irus's words still in his mind, the boy gripped his sword and looked at the twins that were now standing in front of him.

"Two minutes," Elliot whispered. "I can do this. Hasty Aspire!"

"You can come out now," Irus said. He took his cup and sipped his tea as his head shifted to the side where a smaller tear in space appeared. This time, it wasn't the twins but it was Lady Hao herself who walked out. "I know you're dying to know more about me, but what does the Mother want with the Old Man?"

"Aw," Lady Hao cooed. "Already using the nicknames given to us by the Almighty. How cute."

"I didn't have any choice since I do not know your name yet," Irus snickered. "Should you introduce yourself to me, please?"

"My name is Lady Hao," the woman said. "And I am here to stop you from interrupting with our plans."

"I am not interrupting," Irus said. "It's the humans that are interrupting. I am merely helping them."

"That's basically the same thing," Lady Hao deadpanned. "You're really annoying. No wonder you earned that title of the Old Man. You sound wise, but you're actually just stupid."

"Oh, am I know?" Irus snorted. "If that's the case, then I'll have to stop you from stopping me helping my friends interrupt whatever plans you have."

Lady Hao grit her teeth and summoned her fan. "Then let's fight!"
