I Made Up Forbidden Spells, and They Actually Worked?

Chapter 247 More Nonsensical Spells

Dean Bruce smiled and nodded, his gaze sweeping over everyone present, feeling a surge of emotion. After all the battles and trials they had faced, they hadn't just defeated the remnants of the Black Hole Organization, but had become even more united and stronger.

"Alright, everyone, you've all worked hard," Dean Bruce said. "Let's head back and rest for now. We have plenty to do tomorrow."

Everyone nodded and followed Dean Bruce back to the academy.

The next day, Dean Bruce went to the classroom as usual, preparing for his lesson. However, as soon as he walked in, he noticed that the students were looking at him with strange expressions.

"What's going on? Why are you all looking at me like that?" Dean Bruce asked in confusion.

One student, gathering up his courage, spoke up. "Dean, we heard that yesterday you used a very strange spell to defeat the leader of the Black Hole Organization. Could you teach us that spell?"

Dean Bruce, upon hearing this, couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed. He knew exactly what spell they were talking about—it was the "Two Tigers" spell he had made up on the spot.

"Well... actually, that spell isn't really a powerful magic," Dean Bruce explained. "It's just a way of practicing and understanding magic. It's not something you can use in battle."

However, the students clearly didn't believe him. They all started begging him to teach them the spell.

Dean Bruce, feeling cornered, sighed and decided to come up with another made-up spell to appease them.

"Alright, I'll teach you a new spell," Dean Bruce said. "But remember, this spell also isn't something you can use in battle. It's just another way of practicing and understanding magic."

The students eagerly nodded, signaling that they understood.

Dean Bruce then began to teach them the new spell: "Little rabbit, little rabbit, open the door. Hurry and open it, I need to come in."

The students stared at him in confusion, but still followed his instructions, reciting the spell and performing the corresponding gestures.

Although the spell was equally ridiculous, the students took it seriously. They understood that Dean Bruce was using these quirky spells as a way to help them grasp the true essence of magic.

Dean Bruce watched them with a sense of satisfaction. He knew that, while the spells he made up seemed absurd, they did, in a way, help the students better comprehend and internalize magic.

Just as Dean Bruce was preparing to continue with the lesson, a familiar voice suddenly rang out from outside the classroom.

"Dean, are you there?"

Dean Bruce furrowed his brow at the sound of the voice. He recognized it all too well—it was the voice of the student who had been a spy for the Black Hole Organization, the one he had previously captured.

"He's here?" Dean Bruce thought to himself, a hint of concern rising in his chest. "Is he here for revenge?"

However, Dean Bruce didn't show any sign of panic. He gestured for the students to quiet down, then walked calmly to the door and opened it.

As expected, standing outside was the student. He looked nervous, his eyes filled with uncertainty.

"What do you want?" Dean Bruce asked coldly.

The student swallowed nervously before speaking, "Dean, I... I'm here to apologize."

"Apologize?" Dean Bruce raised an eyebrow. "What do you have to apologize for?"

The student lowered his head, speaking in a soft voice. "I was used by the Black Hole Organization and did many wrong things. Now I realize my mistakes, and I want to change. That's why I'm here to apologize to you and ask for your forgiveness."

Dean Bruce remained silent for a moment before replying, "It's good that you realize your mistakes. But forgiveness is not just something I can grant. You'll have to prove with your actions that you've truly changed."

The student's eyes shone with a hint of determination. "I will, Dean. I promise I'll prove through my actions that I've turned over a new leaf."

Dean Bruce nodded. "Good. Go back for now, and make sure you live your life well."

The student nodded in response and turned to leave. Dean Bruce watched his back, feeling a mix of emotions. He knew that everyone could make mistakes, but what mattered most was having the courage to admit those mistakes and work to correct them.

Back in the classroom, Dean Bruce continued his lesson. However, his mood was a bit conflicted. He felt a sense of relief for the student's change of heart, but his mind was also clouded with concerns about the remnants of the Black Hole Organization.

"Dean, what are you thinking about?" a student asked curiously.

Dean Bruce snapped out of his thoughts and smiled, shaking his head. "It's nothing. Let's continue with the lesson."

Just then, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed from outside the classroom.

Moments later, the principal appeared outside the door, waving his hand at Dean Bruce.

Dean Bruce blinked in surprise and walked out to meet him.

"Principal, is there something you need?" Dean Bruce asked.

The principal looked at him with a serious expression. "Dean, I want to hold a magic competition. As one of the teachers, you'll need to bring three students to participate. And they must use spells that haven't been taught before. The competition is in one week. Can you handle that?"

Dean Bruce frowned. He hadn't expected the principal to make such a request. Teaching three students new spells in just one week was certainly a significant challenge.

"Principal, the timeline is a bit tight," Dean Bruce said helplessly.

The principal nodded. "I know it's a tight schedule, but this competition is very important for the academy. You're one of the most promising young teachers here, and I'm confident you can handle it."

Dean Bruce sighed. "Alright, I'll do my best. But, Principal, can you provide me with some specific details about the competition? Things like the rules, the scoring criteria, and so on?"

The principal pulled a document out of his coat pocket and handed it to Dean Bruce. "Here are the detailed rules for the competition. Study them carefully. And remember, you need to choose the most promising students and get them to master a new spell in the shortest time possible."

Dean Bruce took the document, nodding. "Don't worry, Principal. I'll make sure to prepare thoroughly."

After returning to the classroom, Dean Bruce started studying the competition rules carefully. He discovered that the competition not only required the students to master a new spell, but also tested their combat abilities and teamwork skills.

"This is going to be tricky," Dean Bruce muttered to himself.

However, he didn't give up. He knew this competition was not only a challenge for his students but also a test of his own abilities. He needed to figure out an effective way to teach the students a new spell in the shortest time possible, and help them perform well in the competition.

After some thought, Dean Bruce decided to select three of his most promising students: Prolo Hawthorne, Alice, and Delina Reba.

Prolo Hawthorne was Nozer Hawthorne's grandson, a prodigy with an exceptional talent for magic and a high level of comprehension; Alice, though a new student, was smart and quick to learn; and Delina Reba, though once an undercover agent for the Black Hole Organization, had already turned over a new leaf and had strong combat skills.

"You three are it," Dean Bruce silently decided.

After class, Dean Bruce called Prolo Hawthorne, Alice, and Delina Reba into his office.

"I have something important to tell you three," Dean Bruce said sternly.

The three students immediately sat up straight, looking at him seriously.

"The principal has decided to hold a magic competition, and as your mentor, I need to take you three to participate," Dean Bruce continued. "However, there's a special requirement for this competition: we must use new spells that we haven't taught before."

Prolo Hawthorne furrowed his brow. "New spells? That's a bit difficult; we haven't learned any of those."

Alice nodded in agreement. "Yeah, Dean, do you think we can master a new spell in such a short time?"

"It depends on how you approach it," Dean Bruce replied. "If you follow the spells I've already shown you, I think it won't be a problem."

The three students exchanged looks, uncertain but willing to trust their teacher's judgment.

"What? Dean, are you going to teach us another one of your fun spells?" Prolo Hawthorne asked, his face lighting up with excitement.

Dean Bruce smiled and nodded. "That's right. The spell I'm going to teach you isn't just fun—it's also quite powerful. But you'll need to practice well to unleash its full potential during the competition."

Prolo Hawthorne, Alice, and Delina Reba all looked thrilled upon hearing this. They knew that their teacher, Dean Bruce, always had a way of surprising them, and this new spell would no doubt be no exception.

"Come on, teacher, teach us now!" Prolo Hawthorne urged eagerly.

Dean Bruce smiled again and nodded, then began to chant the new spell. "Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky."

Once he finished reciting the spell, Dean Bruce started making corresponding movements. He mimicked the twinkling of stars, tracing arcs in the air with his hands, as though countless stars were twinkling around him.

Prolo Hawthorne, Alice, and Delina Reba stood there, mouths agape. They hadn't expected the spell to be so playful. However, they quickly snapped out of their surprise and began chanting the spell along with Dean Bruce, mimicking his movements.

Although the spell seemed somewhat silly, Prolo Hawthorne, Alice, and Delina Reba took it seriously. They knew that Dean Bruce never taught them anything without a reason, and this spell surely had its own unique power.
