"I thought you said that only third-year students can visit the Academy's Dungeon?" William asked, though he couldn't really complain.

The Professor laughed, "I did say that; I'm glad you were paying attention! There are plenty of Dungeons scattered around the Plane, we will just have to escort you to some of them. There's one in specific that might be of interest to you, what with your skill with the Earth Element."

"Where is it?" William felt no need to hide his interest.

Where there were Dungeons, there were Magical Beasts. And where Magical Beasts were, there were...

Potential Points!

-I thought you wanted to change the name. Falling in love with the PP now? Weirdo.

First of all, fuck off. The name has grown on me; I can't help it. William was incensed by the System's words, but he didn't let it show on his face.

"The one I'm referring to is known as the Quake Dungeon. It's a naturally-formed Dungeon, and it will eventually disappear once someone clears it. It's only two hundred thousand kilometers south of here, and the entire route to and from is perfectly safe. It's a popular spot for the second years.

The only problem is, only Cultivators under the age of thirty can enter, and it's a 40 floor Dungeon. Which is why I'm recommending you, since you can take a few years to get a feel for the Dungeon." the Professor gave his signature thumbs-up before a greyish-white ferret ran up to him with an envelope in its mouth.

William nodded, "You want me to clear it?"

"Clear it? Heavens, no. Just roam between the first and fourth floors, they should be manageable even if your combat power isn't stellar.

Any higher than that and you might be in danger. There's plenty of treasures that appear from time to time, but you'll have the most luck harvesting the Magical Beast's bodies." the Professor handed the envelope to William, who promptly opened it to reveal a small recommendation letter.

"This will allow you access to the Dungeon and will guide you down the route to it, but remember that your life is yours. If you die somehow, don't send your backer to target our Academy."

William accepted the envelope and stored it in his pocket for now. For some reason, his Space Rings didn't work inside the Professor's All Zone.

He spoke for a while longer with the Professor, but his social meter was starting to wane thin and William wanted nothing more than to lay down in his hotel room. He thanked the Professor for the recommendation letter and navigated outside the All Zone and through the school building until he was outside of the Filem Academy Dimension.

A System message greeted him, reminding William to mask his appearance before anything weird happened.

-Your Talents have been restored to normal functionality.

Man, that permanent evening is really messing with me. William shielded his eyes from the eternal evening sunlight that followed the same direction as his hotel. He started to miss morning and night, where he could enjoy some darkness every once in a while.

Once he was back in his room, William sat cross-legged for a Cultivation session. Because he had to conceal his other Elements at all times, William was only converting Mana of the Earth, Chaos, and Space Elements to Cultivate. If not for the fact that the Cultivation Technique relied partially on the Chaos Element, William would have only used the other two Elements.

That said, he still managed to absorb 90 million Spirit Qi in an eight-hour session, even while using a tiny fraction of his full capacity. Cultivation in the Ascended Realms is a hundred times more efficient than the Mortal Realms, which made William excited to get his own area where he could Cultivate freely.

If I can get enough loot from this Dungeon, maybe I can buy a house! William beamed from ear to ear as he made himself and Atticus some breakfast.

I really don't! Let's see these Talents though! William scrolled through the Status Panel and looked at each individual Talent's upgrade requirements.

Well... the Magic part is easy. I just need whatever these Deity Shards are of the respective Element. William was happy to see that his Magic could finally be Ascended. He felt like it had been forever since he upgraded his Magic.

God of Weaponry? That sounds like a shady character I'd rather not meet right now.

Five AP just to upgrade Recovery once? Damn, that's expensive! William realized he would have to kill over fifty Ascension Realm Magical Beasts just to earn enough Points to upgrade his Recovery.

He had 9 AP right now, but it was going to be tough deciding on which Talent to upgrade, especially when he had so many. He even thought about the Chaotic Storage, which was supposed to be nearly un-crackable. It only had a small amount of storage space right now, hardly enough to keep all his valuables.

-All your junk, you mean?

I keep lots of good stuff too! William frowned at the System's comment. He scrolled further and further down the System Panel, taking note of all the interesting Talents to upgrade. Of course, there were still a few that hadn't even reached X-Rank yet.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
