Kiss Me Not

Chapter 378 Master Of Stealth

"You know, I honestly forgot that we still have to go through a royal wedding," Cain let off a light chuckle as he sat on the bed with his wife. "It just feels like we're already married, you know?"

"We are, Cain," Kimmy teasingly scoffed at her husband's words. "We just have to show that fact to the rest of the country. Still kind of a princess, remember?"

The couple shared a round of laughter as they both continued unpacking their bags. They had just arrived from country V, and they only now remembered that they still had to do a bit more before they could finally just relax and be a married couple.

"I know, but it's not like you act like a princess anyway," Cain joked at her as he stashed his clothes into his wardrobe. "It didn't help at all that you're pretty much just a normal girl with normal means."

"Hey, mister 'I have some kind of mysterious secret,' just because not everyone has some kind of super secret agenda to hide doesn't mean they're not a normal person," Kimmy pointedly fired back with a smile. "Don't forget your own bout of dodging and weaving away from me back then. I'm still not letting you off the hook for that."

"Even now that we're married?"

"Especially now that we're married," Kimmy stressed out with a playful tone. "You can't be going around being all secretive, especially if it's not even that bad."

Cain sighed as he gave Kimmy a resigned smirk, "Fine then. No more skulking around the dark around you."

"Exactly," she sagely nodded.

"I can apparently only do that with your express approval," Cain teased. "Though, your own skill in stealth leaves much to be desired."

"Hey! No firing back on the wife," Kimmy pouted with a giggle. "Besides, you got caught too."

"I wouldn't have been caught that quickly if I actually tried," Cain scoffed. "Sneaking around needs some skill that you apparently don't have."

"Oh?" Kimmy raised an eyebrow in curiosity, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Show me how you'd do it then, oh 'master of stealth.'"

Seeing the hint of playfulness in her eyes, Cain flashed her a smirk of his own as he crouched down on all fours on the bed.

"Well first, I'll actually crawl like a proper burglar, sneaking around the bushes to avoid detection."

"Yes?" Kimmy curiously remarked, a bit of heat starting to brush her cheeks as she pushed herself up the bedrest. "What are you gonna do after that though?"

"Next, assuming that this isn't me tailing someone, I'll approach them quietly," Cain teasingly murmured, crawling all the way up to Kimmy as he whispered into her ear. "If I was a killer, I would then slit their throat without any sort of warning."

"But you're not a killer now, are you," Kimmy breathed out, her cheeks blushing as she felt his hands start to roam her body. "What are you, oh husband of mine?"

"Well, I'm but a simple man," he smirked at her, subtly licking his lips as he let his eyes roam her body. "I see something I like, someone I want a family with, and I'll do everything in my power to make her mine."

"Oh my…" she seductively replied. "And I'm supposing that I'm that someone? I'm already married, you know."

"Married to me," Cain reminded her. "I'm your husband, your lover…"

"The father of my future children," Kimmy finished the thought for him. "And speaking of children, do you want to try for one right now?"

Hearing her words, Cain felt all of his bravado go right out the window as a sudden realization sprung up in his mind. "Children…"

"Yes, children," she repeated with a warm smile. "I'm sure we've been making love without protection for a while now. And while we haven't checked if I'm pregnant yet, it wouldn't hurt to make sure, right?"

Cain froze at the prospect of having a family. He knew that he had wanted a family of his for so long, but actually having a chance at it now was kind of surreal, now that he thought about it.

"Cain?"

"Y-Yes?"

"You're crying," Kimmy teased. "We're about to make love, and you're crying."

"A-Am I?" Cain tearily asked, only for him to place a hand over his cheeks and feel something wet touch his fingers. "O-Oh…"

"You okay, love?"

"Y-Yeah…" Cain smiled through the tears, quickly wiping his eyes with the neck of his shirt as he explained himself. "It's just so… We're actually going to have a family."

"Of course, we are," Kimmy warmly smiled at him, caressing his cheek with one hand as she comforted him. "Don't worry about all those pesky fears in you. I'm right here in front of you, and I'm never going to leave."

Cain nodded at his lovely wife. "T-Thanks, Kimberly…"

"No problem, dear," she sweetly replied. "Although, I find it interesting that you're crying now but you didn't during our actual wedding."

"What can I say? I just want my mother to see me smiling," he cheekily replied, appreciating his wife's uplifting tone. "Besides, it's not like I can't cry during our second ceremony."

"The royal wedding, then," Kimmy chuckled. "I'll be looking forward to seeing you weep over my beauty then."

"I'll do my best then," he scoffed.

The couple looked at each other with gratitude overflowing in their eyes. Their gaze locked onto one another, the heat from before starting to return as their hands began roaming each other's bodies again.

"Now, where were we before you got all sappy?" Kimmy seductively asked.

"I'm pretty sure I was trying to teach you how to be stealthy," Cain smirked. "Seeing as we're here, why don't we start by teaching you how to be quiet?"

"Quiet?" Kimmy asked, a light moan starting to escape her throat as she felt his hands snake itself under her shirt.

"It's important to be silent while being stealthy, you know," he playfully teased, his one hand cupping Kimmy's breasts as he whispered into her ear. "For this exercise, I don't want you to make any kind of sound."
