Level Up: Voidwalker

Chapter 229 Do You Like These Ladies

Atlas stopped walking as a bad feeling washed over him, 'There's something watching me,' he thought while scanning his surroundings.

Seconds later, he couldn't see anything and stepped into the square only to have something thrown at him. Atlas jumped to the side as something exploded and peppered him with splinters.

He yelped as a few projectiles embedded themselves in his backside, prompting him to leap to the side. His heart raced as a larger Ghoul emerged from the shadows, its presence making the hairs on his neck stand on end.

Atlas quickly activated Void Sight, scanning the menacing newcomer, 'I wonder what this creature was.'

'Here we go, this is going to be a hard fight,' he thought while gripping his blades tighter.

The Savage Ghoul charged forward while letting out a horrifying howl as Void Ghouls poured out of the surrounding shadows. Atlas quickly deflected several swipes before stabbing them through the face.

Creatures fell one by one as Archer moved like the wind, quickly cutting through them. But when he faced the larger Ghoul, he promptly threw up a Void Guard just as its claws came slashing down.

The moment its claws collided with the glowing azure shield, the force sent him skidding backward, his feet digging into the ground as he fought to regain balance, 'Oh shit, it's strong,' Atlas thought before flinging several Void Lances at the Savage Ghoul after cutting down a few smaller ones.

His azure projectiles sliced through the air until they connected with the stronger monster and sent it crashing into the ground. Atlas dashed forward while readying his blade and piercing through its skull.

Then, Atlas darted through the battlefield like a blur, his movements fluid and precise. His blade sliced through the Void Ghouls with each strike, leaving darkened bodies crumpling behind him.

He easily dodged their claws, anticipating their every move, his speed making him untouchable. As a Ghoul lunged, Atlas spun, his blade flashing in the dim light, severing the creature mid-air before landing softly, already moving on to the next target.

His eyes burned with focus, each kill as swift as the last, his skill turning the chaotic fight into a deadly dance. An hour later, all the creatures lay dead, and Atlas was covered in sweat and felt his limbs were heavy.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

'What the hell! They were hard to fight,' he thought while dismissing his helmet.

Following that, Atlas pulled up the monster total to see how many he had killed during his first run through Void Realm Four.

'This will take some time but not as long as the Void Golems,' he thought before getting ready to fight.

Atlas fought relentlessly through the horde of Void Ghouls, dispatching any Savages that tried to ambush him with swift, lethal strikes. The battle stretched for hours, each swing of his weapon carving through enemies as exhaustion slowly crept in.

Due to all this, he ran out of mana and eventually depleted, and his arms ached from the constant combat. Only when he was utterly drained did he finally return to the real world, breathless and weary, the battlefield fading around him.

His eyes fluttered open, and he saw Grishna smiling over him. "What were you fighting? It looked fun," she teased.

Atlas grinned at the sight of the beautiful orc woman and, without a second thought, pulled her into his lap. Grishna's eyes widened in surprise, but before she could react, Artemis, watching nearby, giggled at the scene.

Grishna remained frozen for a moment, unsure of what to do, until his hands accidentally brushed against her big boobs. She gave him a knowing grin, her surprise quickly fading into amusement.

''Oh, do you like these ladies?'' the green-skin beauty said while grabbing her chest.

Atlas nodded with a grin, his hands slowly cupping Grishna's breasts. They spilled out over his fingers, too large to hold completely. ''I do, Grish,'' he replied playfully, his voice low.

Grishna's grin widened, a mischievous sparkle in her eyes as she watched him, amused by his boldness. She leaned in and whispered in a low tone, ''Does that mean you want me to be your lover? Like the Little Bird?''

''That would be nice,'' Atlas said with a soft smile, his tone sincere, ''but let's not rush into anything, Grish." He paused momentarily, his gaze shifting between her and the others. ''I do like you girls a lot, but I'd rather let things grow naturally instead of letting lust take the lead.''

Grishna's expression softened, her playful demeanor giving way to understanding, while Artemis nodded approvingly from her spot nearby. Estelle called everyone for dinner, and the atmosphere shifted from playful banter.

One by one, they all made their way to the table, laughter and chatter filling the air as they settled down to share a meal. When Atlas got close, he smelled something delicious and noticed a bowl of stew.

Atlas settled into his seat next to Amethyst and Artemis, who were already diving into their meal. He eagerly tried the stew and tore off a piece of the warm bread, instantly loving the comforting flavors.

A grin spread across his face as the group began to ask him about his dungeon runs. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out two silver boss tokens, gold and bronze. The sight of them drew gasps from the five women around the table.

Their eyes widened in shock and excitement as they leaned in closer; Nulia quickly commented curiously, ''How come you never told me during our time in the Chaos Realm?''

''You never asked,'' he answered, finishing a mouthful of bread dipped in the stew. ''We will be doing even more dungeons; I need more.''

The five women exchanged determined nods, their expressions steeling as Artemis spoke up. "There's a dungeon near the fortress. Remember, Rollo reported that his scouts found them."

As the name Rollo echoed in Atlas's mind, an irrational wave of jealousy surged, tightening his chest. The way the women spoke about him, filled with familiarity, ignited a fierce protectiveness within him.

He leaned forward, the edges of his vision blurring with a haze of anger. The atmosphere in the room shifted, thickening with tension as if a predator had entered their midst. A powerful aura pressed down on them all, except for the Frostbear woman, who remained untouched.

Everyone's gaze snapped to Atlas, whose eyes glowed with an unsettling intensity as he spoke in a cold, measured tone, ''Who is Rollo?''

A heavy and charged silence enveloped the room until Nulia broke it with a knowing smile. ''I knew you had a jealous streak, but I didn't realize it was this bad.''

The words lingered in the air, a mix of challenge and invitation, as tension crackled like a storm about to unleash. Atlas locked eyes with Artemis, who swallowed hard, while Estelle added, ''He's the leader of the Golden Lion Legion and has been looking for you since you arrived.''

He turned his attention to the blonde, and the other three nodded in agreement, helping to lighten the atmosphere. Grishna chuckled and said, ''Well, it seems Atlas is a jealous lover. That's a good thing. Some men don't care about their women, but he does.''

After that, Atlas stood up, his voice laced with confusion, and said apologetically, ''Sorry about that, ladies,'' before exiting the room and stepping outside.

'What was that about?' he thought while entering the surrounding jungle. 'I've never been jealous until hearing them speak about another man.'

Atlas climbed into a tree that offered a clear view of the Scalebreaker nest, settling in as he sought distraction by diving into the Void Realm to face more Void Ghouls. Upon appearing in the ruined city, haunting howls echoed around him as the creatures surged forward.

Without hesitation, Atlas cast Void Infusion on his weapons, then lunged into the fray, slicing through their torsos and sending the creatures crashing to the ground. He ducked and weaved, narrowly avoiding their vicious attacks.

'They are slower compared to me,' he thought as the excitement ignited.

His movements were sharp, and anticipated each strike with ease. Sparks erupted as his blades clashed with their claws. Atlas gritted his teeth while deflecting all the attacks before casting Void Wave.

An azure wave of energy surged from Atlas, slamming into the Void Ghouls and sending them crashing into nearby buildings. As the dust settled, he moved through the city, finishing off the ghouls that had stopped ambushing him.

Their once-relentless attacks were reduced to desperate flails under his blade. Following that, Atlas pulled up the monster total to see how many creatures he had killed during this session.

Atlas continued until running out of mana and reappeared in the real world, where a battle below occurred. He looked over the edge and watched a pack of Forest Tigers fighting a few Bloodtalons as blood flew everywhere.
