Lunar Supremacy: The Original Alpha

Chapter 196 Gathering of power

The grand hall buzzed with the clinking of glasses and the murmurs of conversation. The air was thick with the aroma of fine wines and the rich scent of decadent delicacies being served by elegantly dressed waitstaff. This was no ordinary gathering; it was a grand party that exuded luxury and grandeur.

The attendees of this extraordinary event were individuals of immense power and authority. Each of them serves as the leader of their own group within Evangeline's faction.

"Why do you think Evangeline has called us here?" Madonna inquired while she comfortably seated at the table designated for the High Ranking Vampires.

"I don't know, but I really don't like this," Benedict voiced his concern. "Evangeline has been ordering us to prepare for something, yet she hasn't even provided us with all the necessary information."

"Benedict, mind your words!" Madonna interjected, her voice carrying a tone of caution. This place was filled with vampires, each possessing heightened senses that could easily pick up even the slightest noise.

"Bunch of cowards," Benedict muttered under his breath, his voice barely audible. With his serum completed and his newfound confidence in his enhanced abilities, he began to believe that he was the most powerful among the high-ranking individuals in their midst. In fact, he had already reached Rank S and was only hiding his aura.

Madonna and the other high-ranking vampires couldn't help but notice Benedict's contemptuous attitude, but they chose not to push the matter further

"Let's welcome the Hunter Group," the voice from the speaker echoed through the room, instantly capturing everyone's attention. As the announcement concluded, twenty individuals entered the room, all of them humans.

However, the low ranking vampires present didn't dare to think of them as lower beings. There was an undeniable aura surrounding these individuals, a sense that they had unlocked at least 50% or more of their adrenaline manipulation.

This made them as formidable as ordinary vampires, if not more so, particularly the one who led them—William, who had unlocked his adrenaline manipulation to an impressive 80%.

Among the individuals from the Hunter Group, the vampires also took notice of a young man with blonde hair and blue eyes. Despite his youthful appearance, there was an air of novelty and capability about him.

They could sense that he was in no way inferior to the others in terms of strength and skill. His presence added an intriguing element to the group, raising questions about his background and abilities.

"Master William, is this really the extent of Miss Evangeline's faction's power?" Nathan whispered , his voice filled with a mix of astonishment and curiosity. Despite attempting to project confidence, deep down, he couldn't help but feel surprised by the sheer force displayed by the Hunter Group and the vampires within the hall.

"Nathan, don't forget that Evangeline has lived for thousands of years," William chuckled, his voice carrying a hint of amusement.

"What you're witnessing right now is merely the surface ." With that reminder, they all proceeded to walk towards their designated table.

"The representative of the Black Rose Witch Clan has arrived," the speaker announced once more, drawing everyone's attention.

This time, five stunning women adorned in black gowns entered the venue. Among them stood a woman with flowing brown hair and piercing black eyes, moving with an almost ethereal grace. The overwhelming power emanating from her was really strong, leaving no doubt that she held an incredibly high rank—S rank, to be precise.

The presence of such a formidable individual at the party added a new layer of intrigue and anticipation to the atmosphere.

"Furthermore, the representative of the Black Fang has also arrived," the speaker announced, catching everyone off guard once again. They have not yet processed the presence of the powerful witches, but a group of a dozen Alpha's already entered the venue, accompanied by another Rank S individual leading them.

The atmosphere shifted in the room as the powerful presence of the werewolves made itself known, heightening the anticipation and tension in the air. The gathering had now become a convergence of extraordinary beings from various factions, each harboring their own unique strengths and abilities.

"I thought our faction had grown weaker," one of the low ranking  vampires exclaimed, his voice laced with surprise. The vampires had believed that their family had diminished in power due to their operations being conducted in the shadows.

However, the sight before them contradicted their assumptions entirely. It seemed that their faction's strength had not waned but rather remained formidable, as demonstrated by the presence of such extraordinary individuals gathered in one place. The realization sparked a newfound sense of awe and appreciation for their faction's true capabilities.

"The Minotaur Clan has also arrived," another resounding announcement filled the room. Subsequently, twelve towering figures, each standing around 7 feet in height, made their entrance, exuding an overwhelming presence.

Among them was the pair of twin Minotaurs whom Erika had fought in the past.

Erika had assisted Selene in reclaiming the organization from her uncle within a short time frame of one week. After successfully defeating her uncle, the transition of power had been executed smoothly, leading to the Minotaur Clan's representation at the gathering.

Naturally , Selene was the center of attention among the Minotaurs. Her sheer power alone compelled everyone present to instinctively lower their heads in respect.

Despite her seemingly timid personality, Selene was a bonafide Rank SS supernatural being. The only reason she had been defeated by her uncle in the past was due to her own hesitations and uncertainties.

·ƈθm However, now that Evangeline was pulling the strings behind the shadow , the idea of betrayal became inconceivable. The unwavering guidance and authority of Evangeline united the Minotaur clan under a common purpose, eradicating any notion of disloyalty among their ranks.

"This ..." Benedict found himself speechless, his thoughts in disarray. He had believed that he had finally achieved something significant, something that would elevate his status within the vampire faction.

He had planned to showcase the power of the serum he had developed, but the revelations unfolding before him rendered his creation seemingly insignificant in comparison. The presence of such formidable individuals made him question the true extent of his achievements, and a sense of insignificance crept into his heart.

The other loyal high ranking vampires on the other hand felt happy to see that their family was now getting back the former power that it had lost. While  those who had contemplated betraying the family felt a deep sense of relief.

They were grateful that they hadn't acted upon their reckless thoughts, realizing now the grave mistake they would have made. The unfolding scene served as a stark reminder of the importance of loyalty and unity within their faction. Especially if you're dealing with Evangeline.

"Is it over?" Benedict asked wearily, his voice laced with fatigue. The successive explosive announcements had heightened his expectations, leading him to anticipate the arrival of even more powerful people. However, with the current influx of powerful factions, he wondered if their arrivals had finally stop.

As several minutes passed without any further arrivals, Benedict couldn't help but feel a sense of relief.

"Thank goodness," he muttered quietly to himself, hoping that the overbearing chain of announcements had finally come to an end.

However, just as he started to believe that the announcement was reaching its conclusion, another resounding announcement echoed throughout the venue, shattering his momentary respite.

The world seemed to mock him with this unexpected turn of events.
