MMORPG : Ancient WORLD

Chapter 223 New VR Capsule

After spending some time in the world chat, Alex went to the awakened shop and spent 40 Million galactic coins and 110 Million gold coins to buy a new VR Capsule exclusive to the awakened.

The price of the new VR capsule was high, as Alex spent a sizeable portion of the money, but it was completely worth it for the features the new VR capsule provided.

The features included Mana Absorption Field, ManaCognitive Amplifier and Mana Refinement.

Once The VR Capsule was in use, it would create a large field stretching for a hundred meters to gather mana from the surrounding, purify it and channel it into the user's body.

The second feature ManaCognitive Amplifier will harness the mana to enhance the user's cognitive abilities, facilitating a heightened level of brain activity and mental acuity.

The ManaCognitive Amplifier will optimize neural connections, accelerate synaptic transmission, and increase cognitive processing speed.

This will result in improved focus, enhanced memory retention, and heightened problem-solving capabilities within the Ancient world, giving the player a vastly better and smoother experience than any normal player.

After prolonged use, the user's brain will adapt to the new changes and function vastly better while passively using the mana as fuel.

The third feature was Mana Refinement which used the mana and made it flow in gradual and continuous cycles within the user's body, facilitating a gentle regeneration and purification process, revitalizing his cells, tissues, and organs, and removing toxins and impurities.

The refinement process was vastly slower than an awakened can do himself, but Alex had no complaints because small progress was still much better than no progress.

The VR capsule was scheduled to be delivered in six hours, so Alex took a four-hour nap, woke up, took a bath, and then had breakfast with his family.

Alex waited for an hour or so, dabbling in Mana, when the Capsule delivery man finally showed up who, not surprisingly, wasn't even a human and was an Ai robot.

Alex made the Robot shift his old VR capsule to the store room and placed the new one in his room, and after everything was set up, the robot took his leave, and he was ready to return to the Ancient world.

'The original appearance of this capsule is a darn Unique and amazing-looking, but it also screams special,' Alex thought, looking at his new VR Capsule named the Aetherium Enclave.

The VR capsule was crafted entirely from high-end nano-technology, with its appearance being that of a polished, iridescent material reminiscent of shimmering crystals.

Its surface was adorned with intricate, glowing patterns that seemed to shift and flow like ethereal energy. Soft, ambient lights dance across the surface, casting a captivating glow that adds to its enchanting allure.

'I would have kept it looking like this, but it could get me in trouble, so Let's turn it to something more normal,' Alex thought as he placed his hand on the right corner of the capsule.

A transparent blue screen appeared before Alex showing the features of the VR capsule, and opening the appearance section, he selected a custom-designed J_210 VR capsule model that he felt looked good.

The VR capsule surface started to shift, and in less than ten seconds, its appearance completely changed to a mat black surface with both sides edges lined with dark crystal with a soft glow to them.

'Let's see how much difference using this new capsule makes,' Alex thought as he entered the capsule.

Alex got comfortable in the capsule and gave the command to enter the ancient world, and instantly a helmet covered his head while from his neck to the end of his spine, he felt something clutching his skin and then a mild pressure and discomfort, which was gone as fast as came.

Alex didn't panic at the discomfort, knowing it was the nanobots attaching to his body, and within seconds, he entered a state of deep slumber and moments later opened his eyes in the ancient world.

[Four Hours Later]

Alex was back on the human continent and was currently traveling toward the crystal valley, located in the Dorthon Mountain Range, and he was going there to acquire the core of the Diamond Rhinoceros, which he needed to complete the quest of the blacksmith King Thogrim.

'I didn't expect the difference to be this apparent,' Alex thought, standing before the corpse of a giant tiger whose body was littered with deep gashes.

Alex had spent the last two hours traveling toward his destination while hunting any strong creature he encountered to check how much better he could perform in a battle.

After entering the Ancient world, Alex could immediately feel that his senses were much sharper, which gave him trouble for the first hour, but his body quickly adapted to them.

The experience with the regular VR capsule was realistic, as from walking to sensing pain and muscle coordination, everything felt realistic, but with the new capsule, the previous experience felt extremely dull in comparison.

The Ancient world now looked more vibrant, Alex being able to sense ten times the amount of mana from the surrounding, feeling every muscle of his body as he moved while his brain processed information at an extreme pace.

Alex's memory was vastly improved as he could remember past events from second to second like he was living them.

All the newfound gifts were completely foreign to Alex, and it took him close to an hour to adjust to them, but after he was done, he started to experience the ancient world in a completely different light while having proper control over his senses.

Alex spent another hour in the training chamber, getting a taste of his improved senses in battle, and the results were much better than expected.

Alex was now back on the human continent, and after fighting against close to dozen fourth Rank creatures, he was delighted with his new improvement as now, without any improvements to his stats, he could take care of early fourth Rank creatures without any trouble.

'My control over my strength has greatly improved, but I can improve it further while I need to work on my wasteful use of Mana,' Alex thought, looking around his surroundings to spot his target cave.

After a few seconds of searching, Alex spotted a thin crack high above the towering mountain, and he instantly vanished from his place and appeared at the entrance of the crack.

Alex entered the crack, and, sliding his way through it for a few seconds, he reached an opening, and walking for a few meters in the dimly lit area, he reached an entrance to a tunnel.

Alex entered the tunnel, and after sprinting for a few minutes through complex paths, he reached the end of the tunnel, the entrance to a massive open area inside the mountain.

The whole area was covered in trees of unique nature and countless colorful crystals protruding from the walls and deep crevasses in the ground, while the ceiling was a few hundred meters high and was filled with white crystals that shone brightly, illuminating the area.

'Let's locate the wandering world boss and test my new Soul skill to see if the battle would be a walk in the park or if I will be struggling to get through his fortress-like defense,' Alex thought as he sprinted through the forest in search for the wandering world boss.
