Chapter 145 145. I've Missed You So Much Daddy.
Yvonne asked with the widest grin she had ever made.
But Dahlia felt too ashamed by the words her mother uttered out. She was shocked as well but she instantly exclaimed back to Yvonne. "Mom!!"
Then, she turned towards Kevin. "I'm sorry Kevin, you don't really have to answer her question because....."
She pleaded because she didn't want him to feel pressured by Yvonne's irrational question, she tried her best to make him not respond to her question.
But Kevin surprised her with the words uttered out from his own lips.
"Yes, we'll make plans on getting married, so we'll be updating you very soon," He assured Yvonne with a smile and Dahlia was left stunned, not knowing what to do.
Yvonne nodded with a smile as well, she had been asking Dahlia this particular question ever since she returned home but Dahlia had always dodged the question, pretending to act like she didn't hear and it didn't take long for Yvonne to notice that either of them had talked to that point before.
She knew her daughter might have been too shy to speak up her mind or to summon the courage to ask him directly, which was why Yvonne wanted to ask Kevin herself and seeing as how Kevin brazenly gave a response, without beating around the bush, Yvonne could sense the sincerity of his words.
Yvonne then slowly turned towards Dahlia who was still lost in her little reverie until tears drizzled down her cheeks but she quickly wiped it off, hoping no one saw that while she turned her gaze towards her now empty plates.
She replayed Kevin's words in her mind once again and she couldn't help the smile on her face.
It had been a long time since Dahlia had wondered about the notion of getting married to someone.
She always thought it would be Drake, but there came a time when she knew that dream would never come true.
And now, hearing those words being uttered from Kevin, she couldn't help the overwhelming emotions she was feeling and Dahlia instantly stood up from her seat while using the excuse of grabbing everyone's plates and taking it to the kitchen, to prevent them from seeing the excited look on her face.
Meanwhile, Yvonne noticed how her daughter was momentarily smiling while grabbing everyone's plates to the kitchen.
'It seems like you've found a good man. I'm so happy for you dear,' She thought to herself but as though Dahlia could hear Yvonne's thoughts, she glanced towards her mother and Yvonne winked towards her in return.
Dahlia grabbed the last plate and smiled while walking towards the kitchen.
After a few minutes passed and Yvonne noticed Dahlia had yet to return from the kitchen, she stretched her arms a bit with a yawn and asked her husband to follow her to bed.
"I'm feeling sleepy honey, let's go to bed," She urged, tapping Ben on the shoulder to drag his attention towards her.
Ever since Dahlia left the dinning room, Ben had asked about what Kevin's profession was and what kind of sports he liked.
Kevin replied to his question and they were currently discussing about football and who was most likely to win the champions league when Yvonne suddenly interrupted Ben from hearing Kevin's view on who he thinks will win in the match that was coming up in a few days.
"Huh? But why do I have to follow you now? I'm still chatting with Kevin,"
"You can do that in the morning before he leaves and besides, your daughter haven't seen him for more than a month now, don't you think it would be better for them to talk for a while before Kevin feels tired and exhausted,"
Ben finally understood what his wife was trying to say.
He nodded to her in understanding and stood up from the chair.
"Goodnight Kevin, we'll continue from where we left off tomorrow morning," Ben said before heading towards his bedroom.
Kevin nodded in agreement and said "Goodnight....,"
But Yvonne interjected. "It's almost dark. We have a spare room for you and Dahlia is still in the kitchen, so you can ask her to guide you in," Yvonne uttered the last part of her sentence with a wink to Kevin before saying "Goodnight," as she joined her husband towards their bedroom.
Kevin watched as the couple vanishes into the distance and then the system uttered in his mind.
[I like Dahlia's mom, she seems pretty cool,]
'Hehe.....' Kevin chuckled to himself, grabbing a bottle of water and pouring it into a glass cup before gulping it down his throat.
[What is it? Why are you chuckling?]
'Oh, nothing. I just find it funny to see you liking someone without asking me to add her to my harem,'
[I could ask you to add her to your harem but I'm pretty sure we both know the answer to that,]
'Hehe.....I guess you're right,' Kevin replied, dropping the glass cup on the table before standing up from his chair and heading towards the kitchen to meet Dahlia.
[Of course, I am,] The parasite replied.
[Alright, I'll be taking a break now. Just call me if you need anything,]
'Alright, thanks,'
Kevin replied and walked until he finally approached the kitchen door.
He noticed Dahlia swaying her hips in glee while humming a song to herself as she washes the dishes they used a few minutes ago.
She was almost done washing the ones in front of her and right after she was done, a pair of hands groped her huge mounds from behind while saying.
"You seem to be really happy while washing the dishes. Why's that?"
+350 evil points (Groping)
"Eek!!" Dahlia squeaked, surprised to suddenly hear his voice when she was certain she was the only one present in the kitchen a few minutes ago.
Dahlia wanted to put a little distance between them but Kevin kept her in place by holding on to her breast, pulling her back to his chest while her bubble butt was crushed to his hardened rod beneath his pants.
