Chapter 179: Kindred spirits
Chapter 179: Kindred spirits
Yun Jhin knew that the man would surely try to escape in this situation so he quickly identified and collected the aura that remained after the man's slaves died so he could track him.
He did a few hand seals and the aura that remained from their psyche rose and appeared visibly in Yun Jhin's hands, he flicked his finger towards the corpses incinerating them into dust that disappeared quickly after.
Now that he was connected to him he could feel his location and it was quite nearby but he was quickly getting farther and farther away.
Yun Jhin left Mia behind so she could continue her role as the shopkeeper before disappearing into a swirl of mist.
"This guy..."
Mia murmured under her breath as her eyes were still looking towards the location of the remains of those gangsters that Yun Jhin destroyed which was now empty.
She shuddered as she thought of his abilities and ruthlessness before making sure she continued her job properly as a shopkeeper and information node for Yun Jhin's organization.
Yun Jhin appeared outside of the Bazar as he felt the aura of the person trying to rush towards the jumping pad formation of the planet. Yun Jhin frowned as he felt that was wrong... he was a person in the sage realm and he could fly in space by himself, he didn't need the help of the formation.
Did he get fooled?
He flew at break-neck speeds at the formation and waited for a few seconds to see a King Realm cronie trying to jump into it. Yun Jhin caught him by the neck and threw him away from the formation under the gaze of the people who were currently walking going to and from the planet.
However, due to the nature of the planet, no one batted an eyelid at what was happening as it wasn't related to them at all.
Yun Jhin dragged the man towards an alleyway before he put his hand over his neck as he sharpened it using ki before asking:
"Where is your boss little piggy?"
The man was quite fat and he immediately started sweating the moment he saw the blade hand on his neck, he started stuttering as a foul smell started to appear from his crotch. Yun Jhin blocked his sense of smell as he continued to push the blade hand deeper into his neck.
"I... I..."
The man didn't know what to say as his life was on the line and Yun Jhin shook his head as he peered into his consciousness trying to see through his memories instead of trying to extract information from him normally, he had no more time left!
"Hmmm?"
"You are actually the boss?"
Yun Jhin found it very strange that this small fat guy was the supposed boss, he thought that he was someone in the Half-God realm just like Yuan Fang as the head gangster said.
Did this man really mess with their heads that bad?
Yun Jhin took a better look at him but didn't found anything special at him, suddenly from the sniveling form of his a dark green blade appeared which he thrust towards Yun Jhin's heart trying to skewer it and kill him instantly.
Yun Jhin snorted as he slapped the blade out of his hands as he easily dodged the assassination attempt, it seemed the man was only playing the pig to eat the tiger and he was pretty good at it too, he even peed himself to make it more realistic!
Yun Jhin was both impressed and disgusted at his ways of playing the character, he would even lower himself to this point to make sure he would run away!
The man eyes turned to normal as he didn't shake anymore, he sighed as he looked at Yun Jhin and said:
"You are strong big bro, why don't we make a deal?"
"Oho? You think you are in the position that you can make a deal with me?"
The man shook his head making his fat move like the water waves in the ocean as he said:
"Of course not big bro, actually I just want to continue having my own will after you enslave me."
This man was rather direct after taking the loss and he also knew what would happen to him after he lost!
He must have realized that Yun Jhin was similar to him in his ways so technically they were kindred spirits!
But these types of kindred spirits like Yun Jhin and this fatty wouldn't ever be friends due to their personalities.
Yun Jhin put a slave seal into his consciousness and surprisingly the fatty didn't resist at all as he embraced the seal as if it was his own mother hugging him.
He found the man to be rather strange but as he looked through the memories he nodded, it seemed he grew up with the others and he had mediocre cultivation talents, due to that the others took care of him up till now, he was an insidious little man on the inside so he hypnotized then took control of his friend's souls.
He had gotten a devilish technique at an auction as they got a little money that he stole from them when they were out on a mission, the moment they came back he used the technique on them as he fooled them into thinking that they were apprehending the thief that stole their savings.
He was the lowest level of scum that existed almost on Yun Jhin's level!
It seemed the man was ambitious and envious of his friend's cultivation talents, his own low talent made him conscious of his friends and thought that at one point they would abandon him so he did this to keep them together until he got a little bit taste of power and he became a power-hungry little man.
Yun Jhin shook him and his spatial bags dropped out of his tight clothes. The man smiled as he kowtowed and waited for orders.
Yun Jhin looked in the spatial bag and smiled as he saw mountainous piles of spirit stones and various ingredients for concocting pills, the man had been running a lot of businesses beforehand and 99% of the profit was going to him while the 1% was used to keep the businesses running and the employees paid.
From this, it could be shown that the income was gigantic as 1% could do all of that. Even his spatial bag was rather special in the sense that its size was enormous, it could hold way more than even the highest quality spatial rings which were an advanced version of the spatial bags.
Yun Jhin was practically as rich as a young tycoon right now!
Now that he had enough money he could do what he wanted to...
And he could use the man who was kneeling in front of him as the figurehead so the money could still be raked in continuously, he could even expand further as he gained more and more employees and his cultivation recovered and increased!
Right now his cultivation was perfect for this organization's size but he couldn't expand anymore or he would get the attention of the higher-ups in the sects, around the 5 strongest sects were acting in the mortal realm.
3 of them were righteous ones and 2 of them were devilish ones, in the past the number was equal with Yun Jhin's blood throne sect but now only 2 of them remained, if Yun Jhin was right they should have also contributed to the sect's downfall indirectly.
It couldn't be helped, the righteous sects would do the same thing if that happened to one of theirs, this was truly a dog eat dog world no matter what type of morals they preached.
Yun Jhin let him go back to his office but kept the bag saying that he should send him the profits back monthly, he also gave him back some of the money so he could invest according to Yun Jhin's instructions, also he needed to buy a multitude of materials so he could repair the formation and construct the new blood throne sect.
While the men he had killed were the main bruisers of the gang Yun Jhin could always hire more and then take control of them.
He easily did that afterward by saying he was hiring some bodyguards at the sage realm and above and people started flocking towards him, in the bazaar people were either looking for work or working.
Yun Jhin hired them then 'slipped' some of the mind-controlling seals into their consciousness but unless they tried to betray him they wouldn't activate.
Afterward making sure that everything was okay he included the small shop where Mia was into the gang's fold while also notifying her.
The materials for the reconstruction were quickly found as they weren't that rare while the ones for the formation would need some time to be gathered but Yun Jhin could wait as he could reconstruct the sect while recovering his cultivation at the same time. The formation while not at 100% could protect him from most assassination attempts as long as he was in the sect's territory, unless a late-stage God Realm expert appeared there wouldn't be problems. And the appearance of such a personage was null as they had to stay in their headquarters to deter their enemies.
Yun Jhin looked at the gigantic caravan of materials as he walked in front of it and started to guide it towards the nearby territory of the sect.
