My Last Hunt

Chapter 356: Level Battles 30

Chapter 356: Level Battles 30

Level Battles 30

The hunters gave brief look at the team leader. Qiao was looking elite affiliated hunter with all the aura of his presence. Not just the fleece in fact his overall appearance was exceptional in their eyes. Qiao was critically looking all possible team members. They were randomly selected and he could feel the rush of Hunter Association.

The monsters began their migration yesterday. They were in the middle of the first island for their journey, spanning over six islands their travel could attract the attention of hungry beasts.

Beasts hidden in the surrounding areas showed up at the time of migration to get some of the monsters as their treat. Seeing that the pack of monsters were attacked by the beasts; many monsters enter in the human towns. This sudden flash of urgency brought trouble for the human towns eventually.

This means this mission was not limited to guide the monsters toward their destiny instead the hunters would make sure that the beasts should not attack in the middle of their migration. Qiao was getting the nooks of the importance of the mission. Among all the team members; few of them were troublemakers. Qiao caught their sight easily. Troublemakers always shine among hundreds and capable hunter could distinguish their presence in single glance.

Qiao nodded. In his eyes no matter if the hunters were wishful or crooked bones, his mission was important and he has the courage to tame these crooked bones. Qiao left Hunter Association with the team members to reach the said place. The elders were worried for a reason.

This migration took place every five years and previously when the Hunter Association sent the team of hunters to make safe this journey of the monsters, half of the team members revolted the orders of the team leader. This resulted damage of utmost level. Beasts hunted monsters and scared monsters trampled the human towns.

Qiao was recommended for this mission for strong reasons. His reputation as team leader was admitted by the elders of the Hightown. There was nothing troublesome which he cannot solve according to the reports. All those reports from the Middletown and the School Lord helped establish his reputation among other stronger hunters.

The elders were slightly worried however they cannot replace this recommendation or ask the Hightown to send someone else. Migration started and there was no time to get involved in time taking matters. "The distance is big; none of you should slower your pace and follow right behind." Qiao spoke in grim tone casted a threatening glance at the team members.

There was difference which he learned after coming to the Hightown. Leading low level teams was different than high level hunters. They happened to be arrogant or unwilling to follow the team leader for puny reasons. Most of them walk on the way to ignore the orders of the team leader intentionally while lower level hunters never dare to disobey the team leader.

So he was planning to drastically change his behavior for the team members. If he was in the Middletown leading a small team he would have guided graciously however he would not be doing the same for these hidden wolves.

They followed behind while Qiao and his tamed monster were leading. They were rushing toward the first island where the migration started. The island was located at the last boundary of the Sepedra. This journey was not entirely under the periphery of the Sepedra Continent instead the monsters traveled near the coastline and the boundary line from all the six islands part of the Inama Continent. Since the beasts were hidden under the boundary line of the Sepedra so the Hunter Association of the Sepedra was responsible to worry about this journey.

The mission was tough. Few of the hunters in the team had never battled with the beasts much less to hunt singlehandedly. They were native hunters and the Hunter Association has never taken such mission to send them on hunting beasts. They were all level seven and could use their rush skill. At least they can follow behind if not side by side.

However of the affiliated hunter was much slow. When he saw that a monster was also following team leader he was not pleased with this. In his eyes the team leader was some dumb to bring a monster along in this mission. When they were leaving the Hunter Association and the elder saw the monster, he asked Qiao.

Qiao simply answered that the monsters submitted to him. He left leaving the elder at the verge of collapse. The old elder barely supported his lean body and went inside the office making another report. Every time he had interaction with this young hunter; he barely made it from the heart attack which he definitely did not know what was heart attack instead he felt his ribs ready to give in.

"Lam keep a look at the team members. I want them to work sincerely else face my wrath." Lam understood and slowed down. Qiao told what was the mission? Lam was excited to follow this mission and help the master fulfill it at any cost.

The team members saw the monster slowing down they were worried so they hurried to follow behind the team leader except one. He was lazy as before instead started glaring the monster. Lam remembered the words of the master and did not mind.

Usually monsters get mad at the hunters those glare intentionally. Lam gestured him to hurry and follow behind with right pace. The hunter ignored completely. The normal pace was necessary else the team would be late till the migration entered the second island and the troublesome boundary line of the Sepedra.

At the left side of this boundary line was the hidden hills of the Sepedra while at the right side there were two human towns. The distance was not much and the migration would take place in between the thread. The team was supposed to reach the migration place before the monsters reach the second island.

It was tough situation and if anyone of them slacked then the team leader would be in serious trouble.
