Chapter 120: Cold
Alisa's sudden order obviously shocked the servant greatly.
She opened her mouth in surprise, not expecting that Alisa did not look frightened.
When given an order, she had no choice but to respond.
"Yes, yes, madam," she said, walking to the table with hurried steps while occasionally glancing at David.
David was very handsome in her eyes, but she couldn't think of a way he could conquer the fierce Alisa in such a short time.
Alisa and David moved away from the table a little.
After that, Alisa took out her cell phone.
"Can I have your cell phone number so we can keep in touch?" she asked David, instantly making the servant tremble as she cleared the table.
This only showed that this affair would continue.
Alisa wasn't planning on stopping even if someone else found out.
Does she not take a servant seriously?
David nodded to Alisa and then mentioned his cell phone number.
Quickly, Alisa saved his cell phone number.
After that, she sent an emoji to him, and it was a love emoji.
She smiled at David and then approached the servant again.
The last one was scared because Alisa suddenly approached her.
"Your salary will be doubled," Alisa said to her in a cold tone.
Hearing that, the servant was happy for a moment but quickly became panicked as she felt that the salary increase meant her life would become harder.
"Now, you have additional duties, to help us," Alisa added.
Her eyes were very sharp as she stared into the servant's eyes, as if she wanted to tear her face off.
The servant couldn't be more afraid than she was right now. And she could only nod in response to Alisa's words.
After that, Alisa finally stepped out of the dining room, looking at David for a moment with a faint smile.
Now, there was only David and the servant there.
The latter dared to look at David since Alisa was not around.
Even so, she still didn't dare to say anything to David.
She could only watch as David walked away.
David actually returned to the living room, acting like everything was fine.
Sure enough, he saw Alisa's husband Andika sitting on the sofa, looking exhausted.
Alisa approached him, but there wasn't the slightest smile on her face.
"Why are you coming home so late?" asked Alisa in a tone that sounded annoyed.
She sat across from him with her forehead furrowed.
Andika was naturally surprised by Alisa's words.
Not only did she not sit next to him, she even questioned his return with an unhappy expression.
Andika thought that Alisa might be in a bad mood because of Kevin's case.
Hence, Andika chose not to mind Alisa's unfriendly welcome.
"Too much work right now, you know that our business relationship with Aceng succeeded without any problems because of Kevin. Now, even Aceng seems to be having some mental problems." Andika explained in a soft voice.
After that, he asked, "By the way, is dinner ready?"
Andika rarely ate dinner out when he came home not too late. This was because his wife was a very good cook and always cooked in the afternoon. He would rather eat her cooking than have to eat dinner out.
"It's all gone, there's only the rice left, if you're hungry, you can cook your own instant noodles," Alisa replied, still in a cold tone.
At this point, Andika was finally confused.
Why had the food run out, who had finished it?
He also started to get annoyed as Alisa continued to speak in an unpleasant tone.
Spontaneously, he glanced into the dining room only to find David had just walked out of there.
He was walking to a painting and observing it.
Alisa followed his gaze. When she saw David, she smiled for a moment. Her mood seemed to be good again.
Fortunately, Andika didn't see her smile.
"Where's Mery?" Andika asked Alisa.
He also felt strange seeing David here without Mery beside him.
"She went to see her friends," Alisa replied.
This time, she didn't even look at Andika as she looked at her cell phone.
Through David's cell phone number, she could see some of his photo collection, and that was what she was looking at right in front of her husband.
Andika luckily couldn't see what Alisa was looking at.
"She left, why didn't she bring him?" he asked Alisa again.
"Who knows, you should ask your daughter yourself," Alisa replied.
"Aren't you uncomfortable having that man here?"
The question was obviously ridiculous to Alisa.
How could she be uncomfortable with David's presence.
She had felt strange at first, but now she really liked having him around. She even wished Andika wasn't in the mansion so she could be alone with David.
Women are always like this. When they have a new love, even their official partners are not important enough to bother them with their presence.
"Don't keep asking, maybe Mery will stay over tonight," Alisa replied.
Unfortunately, Andika was still asking questions.
"Is he the one who finishes all the food?"
Andika saw David coming out of the dining room, he should have just eaten.
"I asked him to eat because I thought you wouldn't be home. Do you want me to throw away all that food?" Alisa began to look more and more annoyed. Her tone became high. The servants could hear her words.
She even showed her gloomy expression to Andika.
The servant who had just come out of the dining room looked very surprised when she saw that.
"What do you mean, Alisa? Can't you speak more softly?" said Andika.
He was also getting angry. What man doesn't get angry when his wife keeps responding to them coldly.
They were a couple that rarely fought even though they were not a very romantic couple because their lives had too few problems.
This kind of situation, even the servants who had been working in this mansion for a long time had never seen it.
"Hmph, I'm bored here," Alisa said in response.
She then stood up and walked straight to the stairs, leaving her husband alone on the sofa.
Andika looked at her in surprise.
Of course, David also looked astonished.
