away her backpack and retrieved her sniper rifle from her space. Carrying the long black case, Yao Ran left her apartment and went to the rooftop.

Seeing that Huang Qian was already there assembling his sniper rifle, she quickly found a position and did the same.

Once they were ready, Huang Qian took out a walkie-talkie from his pocket and said, "Captain, we're ready."

A second later, Long Yu's voice came through the walkie-talkie, "Got it."

Meanwhile, Lu Hong and his men were busy collecting the protection grains. When the survivors saw more than ten men approaching with weapons, they quickly closed and locked their doors.

Huang Qian scanned the area through his sniper scope and saw Lu Hong trying to sneak away. He loaded his sniper rifle and said, "He's trying to run. Should I stop him?"

Excited at being given permission to fire, Huang Qian licked his lips, aimed at Lu Hong's thigh, and pulled the trigger.
