Shao Mi let out a sigh, puzzled by her actions.

She had just finished a meeting and craved for some fresh air, but somehow found herself outside her territory.

Their headquarters occupied a unique space, accessible only to a select few with a special type of key for entry and exit.

It wasn't as secure and isolated as the Zol Clan's territory, but still somewhat tricky to navigate.

Floating in the dark sky, she began contemplating of what to do about the current status quo of the world.

That should have been her priority, but the image of the man she had encountered earlier kept looping in her mind.

"You're here for a stroll?" echoed a voice from behind her, forcing her to transform into light instantly, evading a potential ambush.

As she regained her composure, she noticed a man floating mid-air. His distinctive white hair and piercing red eyes stood out against the dark sky.

"You again…" Her heart quickened its beating as she realized it was the same man that had been in her mind.

"What are you doing here?" she replied with a voice that carried a blend of embarrassment and frustration

'I'm an idiot' She scolded herself internally; this man was here to eliminate her. In her mind, he must have been sent by the other families to assassinate her.

"I just wanted to see you again. I'll leave now that I'm satisfied," the man said, a gentle smile gracing his lips.

"What do you mean?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion as she tried to decipher his words.

But before she could get an answer, he vanished out of thin air like a phantom, leaving her behind, bewildered and filled with unanswered questions.

"Who are you... and why are you toying with my emotions?" she asked, feeling frustrated but oddly happy. It was a strange sensation, something new to her.

But one thing was certain: that man stirred her heart whenever they met.

After my vision cleared, what greeted me was a small island within South Korea's borders. I chose this spot because it was uninhabited, making it ideal for my plan, just in case I messed up.

At the same time, this place was pretty far from the capital, so I didn't have to worry about anyone spying on us.

Regarding the Zol Clan, I tried to locate them, but after they disappeared, even my trackers failed to follow their trail.

'I love teasing her,' I chuckled to myself, relishing the memory of her reaction. I didn't pushed myself to her; instead, I wanted to savor her slowly, slowly making her fall in love with me step by step.

Slowly, I descended to the location where a few tents were set up, and the girls were waiting for me.

"Darling! Where did you go?" Rei Mei was the first to speak while running towards me.

I had teleported them here before heading to China, so they weren't aware of my activities.

"I just had some business to attend to," I answered firmly. There was no need for me to say anything else as it would just be a waste of time.

"Something seems different about you," she stated, her eyes squinting as she tried to figure it out.

I also have a skill that lets me figure out the emotion of a person, but it's useless against individuals who are strong.

But despite the difference in our power, Rei actually sensed it, although she couldn't completely figure out my true emotions.

I made a mental note to ask her how to actually do something like this. But for now, it was better not to tell them about Shao Mi, or they might get jealous and end up distracted.

"Nothing, I'm just feeling happy that we could finally save Sung Hei," I chuckled, trying to shift the conversation.

"Ah, that's a relief," Rei Mei replied with a smile.

"Let's start," I patted her head and then began to give them the briefing of the plan that I had in mind.

To ensure the success of our plan, it was imperative that we worked together to fend off the Time Wraiths' attacks the moment I extracted Sung Hei .

Anticipating that their attacks would be stronger than ever, I meticulously analyzed every aspect of our abilities and powers.

Everyone sighed in relief and smiled after hearing my words. For them, my words were like gospel. If I said they wouldn't get hurt, then they wouldn't.
