One Piece: Gambling to The Top

Josh was sitting on the couch, staring at the table in front of him, his hands joined together.

"I will leave you alone." Marianne placed a box on the table. "Call me if you need anything."

"I'll catch up to you soon," Josh said, looking at the money she had placed on the table.

He wasn't really interested in the money. He was more anxious about the operation he is doing.

He is going to lose a lot, just to know what it's costing to get the big prize.

"Don't forget." Marianne paused. "I have the biggest share… you know if you got a good thing. I'm better than the busty ones outside."

Since Marianne has been providing, she wanted her deserved share.

"Sure cutie. What do you want."

"Something to make me taller a bit, and curvier," Marianne said.

Thinking about what she just wished, Josh remembered a scene from a movie.

And then, a Devil comes from nowhere and offer them a deal to fulfil that, but they have to pay a price to him.

Seeing that he was alone, Josh opened the system. He has to see what it takes to acquire legend asserts.

What made Josh feel anxious is one thing.

He knows it's a guarantee to have an Epic Rank item for a 100 point, and it gives him a good chance to get something legendary. The more points he spends, the higher his chance for a higher rank item.

However, if Josh spent 200 points to get an epic thing, it would be a total waste. Still, it gives him better chance for legend rank. Now that he is a warlord and has the lifetime chance to make billions of Berries, he decided to take the risk.

Letting a sigh, Josh transferred his money to the system.

He already had 250 points, plus the ones he had from Hancock's quest, making it 350. Marianne left him with 650 Million Berries, and Josh had earned 350 million Berries this morning, which leaves him with.

Josh felt his heartwarming a bit seeing this big number. It felt as appealing as being hugged by all his girls.

It's still more than a thousand, he can do it.

Josh looked at his storage and picked up on Average rank item. A metal table. It wasn't something needed to mention. But still, Josh keeps everything he gets.

Placing the table in front of the couch and on the shreds of the wooden table, he sat again.

"300, come on baby."

Anyway, Josh kept the package, and he thought, not only did he need it, but some girl turn into a real dangerous weapon if she got a little boost. No one's neck can handle too much force, even very strong ones.

"Good Karma." Josh smiled. 'Because I gave Mikita and Robin, and depended on the rest, I don't think I'm too resistible to the lower ranks rewards.'

Josh stared at how much he has left.

Now, any regular person would be thinking that he should do 400 and see.

However, that would leave him only with 450.

What if it required 500 to get legend rank. What if it required 600.

This is an experiment that holds a lot of regrets. Josh didn't want to spend a lot to get an Epic Item that he would get for a hundred.

Although, he noticed that the items he is getting now are rarer.

Like for real. A full package of extra 30 tons of strength, or 600% stamina, and that's when there is resistance to lesser ranks items. That's a total game-changer.

But still, he must find the Legend Rank, and what's the price for that.

If he paid more, so be it. At least, if he put 650, he can try a lesser number the next time. But if he went small, he would never know.

"Oh dear lord, this is harder than playing Blackjack."

Josh bit on his lips. He felt the need to have sex, masturbate, or do whatever thing that help him to get out of this situation.

However, he needed to take this thing as a man (or a bold woman, calm down) and not run.

Josh did it.

And then, the result came.

"Booyakasha!" Josh screamed and lifted his hand as he stood up.

Now, now… he may have spent a little more than usual.

However, he got the privilege to know that Legend Rank is something between 650 Draw Points, and 500.

But still, there is the possibility that 650 points give a high chance toward Legend, and Josh got lucky that he didn't get an Epic Item out of it.

Josh doesn't have enough money to know how much it would cost him, really.

There was still 200 points left to Josh.

He decided to use them later.

Opening his hand, a little blue candy appeared. Although Josh thought of giving it to his girls, since it's Marianne's money, Josh shook his head and thought about giving her something else, from the future things he would get.

Now, Legend Rank is his own right.

Opening his mouth, Josh put the blue candy there. As soon as it melted, Josh opened his eyes widely, information getting in his mind.

It's something that matched his first constitution.

'Perfect!'

He thought as he stood up, looking at his hands.
