Paragon of Death

Chapter 110

110 Chapter 109: Trading blows with family!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Explosions rocked the air as two figures fought fiercely in mid-air. The battle was so fierce many couldn’t approach the duo. The space around this two twisted and turned violently as each other’s anomaly clashed violently, each trying to overwhelm the other!

“If this is what the blood clan is capable of, then I am disappointed!” Tristan declared as his claws tore through the space, plunging into the chest of the champion realm vampire!

Puff!

With one step back, he pulled out the heart of the enemy and watched as the skin of the vampire turned grey before falling to the ground like a piece of rock.

Thud!

Tristan staggered back as he felt slightly lightheaded but he soon recovered thanks to his werewolf regeneration abilities. His eyes glanced around the chaotic battlefield before getting pinned on a small army of undead beings standing guard for their master.

.....

As a member of the Hail family and a powerful member of the gyro Kingdom, a general and a fierce fighter, only a handful of secrets were kept from him in the kingdom. He was very much aware of the guardian spirit hosts and he was well aware of the death of Klien’s sister. “It hasn’t even been long and another host has been chosen? But if that’s the case, shouldn’t be host be like ten or so? How could one be soon?” Tristan muttered

“Or maybe she never died in the first place. We were too naive to think the death mage can be killed so easily. We must fix this mistake or the gyro Kingdom may face a great threat soon!” Dennis Hail suddenly walked over with his hands placed behind him and a stern look in his eyes.

Bang!

Without hesitation, the two sprang forward and began running at an incredible speed. The distance between them and the location was just a few hundred meters.

Secret technique: Werewolves roar!

Roar!

An inhuman roar reached the heavens as Tristan and Dennis were engulfed in yellow and blue aura respectively! The energy soon twisted and took the shape of two powerful Werewolves, racing forward!

Kill!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Countless explosions rang out as the battle began! Two champion realm beings were already heading forward! They have come to finish what they failed to do the last time.

“Troublesome...” Damon said calmly as he let his eyes slowly drift towards the direction of the intense fighting.

[They are ignoring everything and they are coming for you.... ] Death warned but strangely Damon remained calm.

“Do they think I am someone who can be killed so easily?” Damon said with squinted eyes as the sounds kept getting closer. Truly the strength of the enemy can be considered topnotch but Damon wasn’t afraid.

Only someone who doesn’t know the power they possess would be scared at this moment!

Bone magic: Bone armor!

Damon’s eyes lit up as his exoskeleton armor formed around him, covering his face as well. Just as soon as his entire body was covered two figures appeared high above him!

“We will be taking the life you owe!” Dennis Hail growled as he quickly brandished his claws at Damon, alongside Tristan. Sending countless claw-shaped energy attacks.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

As the attacks bombarded the man in bone armor, dust rose, covering the entire area. After what seemed like two minutes of relentless attack the duo stopped and let the dust settle.

“If this is the best you can do, then you are not qualified to stand in my presence!” The cold detached voice of the man in bone armor erupted like lightning across the entire sky!

The duo watched the man in bone armor slowly stand on his feet but strangely the man didn’t attack them or anything.

“Your people are losing this war. If the blood clan wins, it’s all over for the four great kingdoms of this continent yet you try to kill me again at a moment like this even though I am lending a hand?” Damon asked coldly.

With his voice overlapped by countless voices, it was impossible to tell his identity! His words were true but strangely they had no effect on these two, neither did they ponder on it even once.

“With you here, the blood clan is only a secondary issue! If someone needs to die, it has to be you!” Tristan growled as his body shot forward!

Bam!

Stomping his foot on the ground, Tristan shot into the air! His yellow aura spread across his body like wildfire, forming the seventh feet tall energy wolf around him as he descended, hoping to eradicate Damon in one go!

Thud!

A figure arrived behind him and clasped his hands together. From the corner of his eyes, Damon could see the space send out ripples as it began twisting and turning.

An anomaly!

[DAMON!] Death cried out!

Ignoring Death, Damon casually raised his hand as the mighty purple wolf smashed into it with great force, creating a fierce shockwave but even then Tristan couldn’t move Damon from his spot.

Puff!

Without warning a bone spear erupted from beneath, stabbing into Dennis’s feet from below, disrupting his focus thereby shattering the anomaly still in formation!

Curse magic: Weaken!

Puff!

Dennis spat out another mouthful of blood but this time it was black. He felt a strange cold invade his soul and his bones weaken as he falls to the ground. At this moment he was no different from a normal human suffering from a terrible sickness.

“You!!!!” Tristan growled.

“Time and time again I have shown my sincerity towards the human race and the people of this world. Yet time and time again I have been betrayed and murdered! Never again!” Damon bellowed as his voice echoed across the entire area sending chills down the spine of all those who heard it!

Bone magic: Dance of sorrow!

Grrrrr!

The entire area began to tremble as the once destroyed bone forest was getting revived but the difference was all these bone spears shot in one direction!

Gaaah!

A painful cry spread across the battlefield which terrified many. They recognized the voice and that was what made this even more terrifying.

By the time a few soldiers arrived at the scene the battle was already over. While Dennis Hail lay on the ground, convulsing and drowning in his pool of blood, meanwhile Tristan good at the center of the bone forest, impaled from all sides.

Both of them had a skull symbol on their foreheads leaving them extremely pale and weak! Seeing her brothers in this condition Alicia Hail was terrified by this since she was well aware of the strength of the two. The fact they were defeated so easily proved that the death mage was real and his strength is just as frightening as ever. They weren’t even given the chance to showcase their true strength.

..............

[Why didn’t you finish them off? These people have already proven to be disloyal!] Death argued but Damon wasn’t taking it.

“The final decision is in the hands of the great generals... If Duke Hail has not turned against me, then I have no reason to kill them. By the way, I don’t want it to give them a reason to do so” Damon said calmly as he rode the bone horse forward. Surrounding him were three champion realm vampires killed by the three siblings of the Hail family.

No matter how this battle turns out, Damon was sure he would become the ultimate victor of this battle. Even without doing a thing, he could feel his power rising and his army growing! With each vampire killed by his undead forces, he gains a new tattoo.

As he rode in the direction of the great general tent, his undead forces began returning to his side, and slowly the full might of his army was slowly revealing itself.

As he moved more undead beings returned to his side and soon a hundred thousand strong force could be seen riding through the human camp. Everyone who saw them simply moved out of the way in fear while their gaze was pinned on the man at the center of the large army, dressed in bone armor with the helmet of an ox and a first purple cape fluttering behind him.

The pressure coming off this force was so intense, many couldn’t even breathe around them and ran as fast as they could.

Grr!

Grr!

Grr!

Bolts of lightning slowly began surging across the sky as the clouds gathered to form a face with a pair of blood-red eyes, looking down at the allied force camp.

“I was wondering what could interfere with my plans. As expected none of these so-called four great kingdoms are capable of it. But why would the death mage fight alongside the living?” The voice boomed from above, catching everyone’s attention.

Damon casually looked up and frowned. Right now, his strength was only in the champion realm and while he was confident in the power of death he wasn’t so cocky as to underestimate an enemy.
