A few days later, and right in front of Solarous. The army of the confederation was packed together ready for order, speared by Shen Bao's ship.

Inside the Ship, Shen Bao and his group from the Beyond were looking at the monitor that displayed the outer plane.

"What do you think?" Don Ma said proudly.

"You mean about the cultivators, well, they look pretty strong," I said shrugging.

"Hmm, I thought you'd be more impressed with the number," he said.

I can understand what he wants to say, he's probing.

"Right, compared to the Beyond, you do have several cultivators at the Yin Stage, which is admirable. But if we're talking pound to pound, in terms of fighting power… your coalition army falls a bit short," I said.

"Even though you don't have any Yin or Yang stage cultivators?" Don Ma smiled.

"Precisely so, imagine if the Beyond had those, regardless, let's stop this passive aggressive type of probing and focus on the task ahead," I said as I nodded to the massive hole that opened up in the formation.

the army hurriedly entered inside the formation and into the orbit of the planet as Don Ma requested his colleagues to close it behind us.

The ship headed first, with the more than two hundred thousand cultivators all rushing down at the same time.

Hundreds of vibrations shuddered down on the crust of the planet as cracks the size of cities spread out everywhere. The ground flipped upside down, blasting magmatic waves that reached all the way to the clouds, while from among the lava, the black appendages of the Queen speared toward us.

At first there was about a dozen or so, and immediately after, a wail that would rend one's soul followed after as hundred of other tentacles spread out surging toward our army.

"I hope your forces know how to dodge in a group," I said as I maneuvered the ship dodging the incoming tentacles that kept coming one after the other.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

And that wasn't all, the echoes of the Queen caused the Rakshasa that were hiding under the ground to rise up surging like a massive army. Stay updated via empire

From afar they looked like a massive rain of arrows going from the ground up toward us in the sky. And it kept growing in size.

Some of the rakshasa that were capable of flight, as in the Nobles and the Royal Rakshasa were flying at us with incredible speeds. While the lower ranked ones, like the White Rakshasa were climbing up the tentacles of the Queen that were extended toward us.

The howls of the fiends grew louder and louder as the first impact happened.

Hundreds of cultivators were unable to dodge the tentacles as it shattered their bodies upon contact spraying their blood and organs everywhere. While the cultivators that were faster and more agile avoided the tentacles and made direct contact with the rakshasa.

The void stage cultivators were taking on the white rakshasa while the higher the cultivator level the stronger the opponent they fought.

While I on the other hand was flying lower, opening a portal from the Lord of Lords pagoda that spewed out tens of thousands of puppets that landed on the ground.

They aimed their weapons and rained down hell upon the rakshasa that were moving up the tentacles.

Due to them not having any 'Soul' the rakshasa usually ignored them, and this only allowed the puppets to bring down even more pain.

Endless rain of bullets shot up and brought down an equal number of rakshasa. They never experienced anything like this before and were all too confused to understand how are these small pellets that hit their bodies were able to kill and annihilate the rakshasa.

The bullets themselves were all infused in the poison I made to deal with the rakshasa. All the bullet needed was to come in contact with the body of a rakshasa to instantly turn it to brittle ice.

"It's time," I said to the group."

"We're going out?" Don Ma asked.

"Yes, I can't get any deeper with the ship, the closer we get to the main body of the Queen the harder dodging the tentacles will become," I explained.

"Alright, then," Don Ma said as he left the ship, "I'll be there first!" he said and flew forward with incredible speed enough to make us look like a stationary object.

"I guess he still can't accept the fact that my ship out-sped him last time," I grinned as I asked everyone to leave the ship.

"I'll head toward the central mass of the tentacle first!" the Blue Sun said.

"I'll keep closer," Tao Yang said.

"We'll head first!" Meng Hao and Zhang Tian said at the same time.

"Do I really have to go?" Law said but he didn't seem too reluctant on leaving the ship as he was already near the gate.

"Yes, you have to, get out," I said.

The Fire Lord and Dao Shen didn't say much as they simply left the ship and flew toward the central mass of the queen.

Liang Yu and YuYu both gave me a quick kiss. Seems like they were planning this from before, "Let's hurry and be done with this, Blue Sun said that the azure beachside is really worth it. Let's all come back-" I immediately placed my hand on her mouth, "That's a bad flag, never say that. Just go, and good luck." I said

She smiled as the two of them left heading first.

"You," I asked the slave, "Keep Liang Yu and YuYu safe from the shadows," I said.

The slave nodded in acceptance and followed behind them.

"You're not going?" Master Rain said.

"I'll head out soon, right now I'm utterly useless. And fighting the Rakshasa will only exhaust me. I need the main culprit to show itself first," I said.

"I thought you'd just shoot that thing with the poison you made and end this fight," Master Rain said.

"I wish if it was that simple, this creature is incredibly large. If I were to use the poison this early, it will only alert it to the presence of something deadly that can threaten it."

"So, you're basically waiting for an opportunity," Master Rain said, "And you're using an entire army as bait for that opportunity…"

"Would you blame me?" I asked.

"No, never. Sacrifices are needed… I never believed in heroism after all."

"Exactly, that stuff is the privilege of those with a fate that is guided and protected by the world…"

Basically, only people like Meng Hao are deserving of the title of 'Hero' while I will forever be the Side Character no matter how strong or powerful.

"Wait," Master Rain said as he looked at me with a worried yet confused look, "You think that you're not one with a Protected Fate?" he asked.

"Of course, I never had the privileges," I shrugged.

Master Rain opened and closed his mouth, "I see…"

"It feels like you want to say something…"

"Not really, it's nothing serious, anyway, where is the special poison?" Master Rain asked.

"I have given it to some puppets and have some of it here," I said, as I showed him a gray poison cannister. "Why are you asking?"

"Oh, nothing much, it's just that we might need to use it soon because that thing is out," he said pointing forward.

And right at the end of where his finger pointed, you could see the amalgamized form of the Liberator, Tao Yang's uncle fused with the mass of the Queen.

"TAO' ER" it roared.
