Chapter 149: Chapter One Hundred and Forty-Nine: Hijacking

In the morning, Liang Wei and his group also set out. To prevent Liang Jiuqing from going on any mission behind their backs again, Liang Jiuhui stuffed Liang Jiuqing into Liang Wei’s car as well.

He had a mission himself today, which was to take some Space Element Ability Users and vehicles to the south of the city to collect supplies. Fortunately, when they entered the territory west of the city, the number of zombies noticeably decreased, and the two drivers gradually relaxed. On the previous stretch of road, they had been highly vigilant, afraid of being caught off guard by suddenly appearing zombies.

The road to Dragon Leap Villa was in good condition, with few zombies and a wide roadway. After a while, the drivers could see from a distance the landmark building of Dragon Leap Villa: the dragon-shaped fountain.

The driver quickly slammed on the brakes, trying to see what had happened.

The Wind Element Zombie saw living people getting out and immediately shifted its target, attacking the three with Wind Blades!n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Since they were prepared, the three dodged the Wind Element Zombie’s Wind Blades in three different directions. At this moment, several Special Ability Users from the overturned car behind took the opportunity to crawl out.

Shao Zian also began to launch his Metal Element Ability to attack the Wind Element Zombie!

The black street lamp on the side of the road was pulled down by his Metal Element Ability and hurled at the Wind Element Zombie, but unfortunately, it missed as the Zombie dodged it. Meanwhile, the Speed Element User, Li Haochu, picked up his weapon of choice: two axes, and quickly ran at the Wind Element Zombie!

No matter how fast the Wind Element Zombie was, it couldn’t outpace the Speed Element’s Li Haochu, who chopped off both of its arms!

The armless Wind Element Zombie was soon pierced through the back of its head by an Ice-Element Ability User who had come out of the car behind them; everyone heaved a sigh of relief. However, the driver from that car had been struck unconscious by pieces of the windshield glass that had cut into his neck.

Xu Mingzhi felt for the driver’s breath under his nose and sighed, shaking his head. He hadn’t expected that they would lose someone just as they arrived at the entrance to Dragon Leap Villa.

A Power Element Ability User flipped the overturned car back onto its wheels, only to find that the windshield in front was shattered into crumbs, and both tires on one side were punctured by Wind Blades, rendering the car undrivable.

With an iron rod, Shao Zian stabbed into the brain of the driver who had just died, to prevent any possibility of him turning into a zombie.

Liang Wei also got out of the car, looking at the dead driver on the ground with a somber expression. He knew the driver, who had been his regular chauffeur before the Apocalypse, very familiar with the routes in S City, and it was shocking that he had died here today.

Their current location was already on the plaza in front of the Dragon Leap Villa’s main gate. Liang Jiuqing walked around and found the open gates of Dragon Leap Villa strange.
