Rise of the Crusader

Chapter 171

171 Conflict

Knock!

There was no response from the other side of the room as Elisa knocked on the door.

She was about to raise her hand at the door again when the door was pulled open, and a figure stood in front of her.

Staring at Raphael with a stern expression, Elisa’s lips soon curved inwardly as she looked into the room.

“This isn’t the right time, Elisa,” Said Raphael as he watched Elisa barge into the room.

As Elisa had a stern expression on, the expression on Raphael’s face wasn’t friendly either. He glared at her with his eyebrows furrowed.

“Oh really, because of her, isn’t it?!”

Elisa blurted, pointing her hand to the woman who was laying on the bed with a duvet wrapped around her body.

The woman was none other than Hilario, and from the moment Elisa barged into the room, Hilario already had her eyes fixed on her.

.....

Elisa took a deep breath.

“It’s alright,” Elisa said.

“Raphael, can you tell her to leave the room, there’s something I need to discuss with my man.”

The ‘Man’ in Elisa’s words had been spoken loudly by Elisa, and she had her eyes fixed on Hilario when she uttered those words.

Hilario’s mouth opened slightly, and before Raphael could even respond to Elisa, her voice rang out.

“I’m afraid, but I can’t leave here.” Said Hilario.

Elisa’s eyes twitched when she heard Hilario.

“Why?!” Elisa exclaimed.

Hilario glanced at Raphael, and then Elisa, “I’m naked.”

It was merely a few words, but the impact which it caused in the room was tremendous.

Elisa knitted her brows, “What did you just say?”

As she didn’t try to hide it or even conceal it, the rage was well evident in her voice. And moving her gaze to Hilario, Elisa hoped she had misheard.

“I said, I’m naked, so, I can’t move from here,” Hilario said.

A bone-chilling frown was soon to appear on Elisa’s face, she glared at Hilario, and then at Raphael.

“Raphael, do you care to explain to me, what a naked woman is doing on your bed?” Elisa spoke in a harsh tone.

“Also, in the middle of the night, while your door is closed, and you’re wearing a singlet and a short.”

Elisa bit her lower lips hard, as she glanced between Raphael and Hilario.

“I’m treating her,” Raphael replied.

Elisa arched an eyebrow, it was quite obvious that she was doing her best to hold her anger, and after taking a deep breath, she spoke.

“Treating her?” Elisa shook her head, “What can you possibly do to her, that you can’t do when she is dressed.”

“Raphael, I want to trust you, but this is totally wrong. If she is sick, ill, or even injured, she should visit the support division. Not come to you, and also not treating her when she is naked.”

Though Elisa had managed to speak in a soft tone, the look, and the aura that was excluded from her body, were dreadful.

“Sigh... I will leave, but to be honest, Raphael was really just treating me, nothing else happened.” Said Hilario.

Elisa sneered, she was then waiting for Hilario to move out of the room, but none of that happened.

A few seconds passed, and there was still no movement from Hilario. She didn’t only not move, but she didn’t seem to have any intention whatsoever of leaving.

“What are you still waiting for? Are you not leaving!” Said Elisa in an unfriendly tone.

“I will, but I need you to excuse me for a moment as I’m completely naked,” Hilario replied.

Elisa was in shock when she heard Hilario, she slowly turned towards Raphael hoping he would be just as stunned as she was, but seeing the look on his face, her mouth opened wide.

“Y-You...” Elisa stuttered.

“You mean to tell me that, you’re willing to strip yourself naked in front of him, but before me, you can’t, and I need to leave this place.”

A second after, Elisa spoke, and a nod came from Hilario.

“Yes, I can’t. I’m straight, you know why would I want a woman ogling at my body.” Hilario shook her head after she spoke.

“W-What the hell!” Elisa exclaimed.

Elisa balled her hands into a fist, and as she saw that Hilario didn’t have the intention of moving away from the bed until she had left, she turned to Raphael and said.

“Fine, I will go, but he is coming with me.”

Raphael had been staring at Hilario and Elisa as the both of them went after one another, he wasn’t pleased, however, neither was he displeased.

The expression on his face was neutral the whole time, and as Elisa moved towards him and held his hand, he simply followed her out of the room.

Bang!

The door of the room was slammed shut, and after waiting outside for five minutes, Hilario opened the door.

With a smile on her face, she stared at Elisa, “I thought we wouldn’t get along, but now that I think we will.” Hilario said.

“I don’t think we will,” Elisa replied.

Hilario chuckled, “We will see about that then.”

Hilario moved her gaze to Raphael, and as she came in contact with his blue glittering eyes, a deep frown appeared on her face.

“We have issues to address, so I will be back,” Hilario said.

Before Elisa could even question Hilario about what she meant, Hilario vanished out of the room.

“She is gone,” Raphael mumbled as Elisa looked around the room.

There was concern on Elisa’s face after Raphael, she glanced at the five people who were staring at them from the living room, and then shook her head.

“Let’s go in,” Elisa said, and then walked into the room.

Raphael moved once Elisa entered the room and shut the door.

“Shit!!! why did he have to soundproof his room, now there’s no way we can figure out what’s actually going on.” Bane exclaimed.

And while Devon and Aiden didn’t speak out loud, the two of them were also very curious about what was happening in the room.

After all, they had witnessed what happened on the stage with Hilario. And judging from the look that was on Elisa’s face when she walked into the room, they could naturally tell that a storm was coming.

“The three of you are really hopeless!” Becky blurted, and then flashed Devon, Aiden, and Bane a disgusted look.

In response, Bane gave the finger and then moved his focus to his wristwatch that just received a beep sound.

“The points have been sent,” Bane mumbled a second after.

“The points...”

Bane’s voice quivered as he uttered those words. And as he moved his gaze to Aiden and Devon, his face lit up.

Immediately, as Aiden and Devon saw the look on Bane’s face, they rushed toward them. Then seeing, the points on Bane’s wristwatch, both of their cheeks raised.

“Yessssss!!!!”

“Systems, here we come,” Devon exclaimed.

...

While the living room was bursting with joy, the atmosphere in Raphael’s room was very cold.

Elisa’s hands were folded across her chest while her eyes were fixed on Raphael. She glared at him for a while, and it was only after a brief moment that she spoke.

“Have I ever done something wrong to you, Raphael?”

Elisa asked.

Raphael knitted his brows after she spoke, he pondered about it for a bit before he shook his head.

“Then, why do you have a naked woman on your bed, knowing what it means.” Elisa blurted.

“First, you showed that you cared about her on the stage in front of everybody. The look in your eyes as you stared into her eyes made me question who among the both of us is your woman.”

“And right after the fight, you bring her to your room and have her naked on the bed. I want to be calm and understand what is going on, but at the same time, I can’t help but feel cheated.”

The words just kept coming out of Elisa’s mouth, and the more she thought about it, she couldn’t help but feel as though she were being played.

“Raphael, don’t tell me there isn’t something between the both of you because the way you stared at her was very different,” Elisa said.

“I might not know you completely, but there were emotions in your gaze earlier.”

.....

“Tell me Raphael, who is she to you, are you in love with her, and should I also be worried about this.” Elisa inquired.

Raphael listened attentively to Elisa, and when she asked him those questions, he was about to respond to her when his wristwatch vibrated.

“Sigh... You might as well as check it, I’m certain it would be from one of the women who want you.” Elisa blurted.

“But, why does it have to be this way, why!” Elisa yelled.

The truth was Hilario was merely one of the problems that were bothering Elisa, they were many more.

Especially the number of women who were willing to do anything just to get Raphael.

Raphael gently tapped his wristwatch, and after reading the content that was there, he moved his gaze to Elisa.

“We have a class mission.”

The Arytom Empire.
