Splitting the Heavens

Chapter 1434: Heaven Field’s Pulse

Chapter 1434: Heaven Field’s Pulse

Even with how composed he normally was, Shang Xia couldn’t help but feel excited by his accomplishment.

On the surface, it looked like an ordinary technique that would allow him to establish a spiritual land all the way to a Dao Field, but in actuality, there was no limit. The only reason its limit was a Dao Field at the moment was because that was its current limit. Shang Xia would have to continue experimenting if he wished to create anything stronger than a Dao Field, but at his current cultivation realm, there was no need to think so far ahead.

When he was trying out his World Establishment Art, he also had a strange premonition that it wasn’t as simple as creating separate spaces. There might be other uses for it he hadn’t discovered.

Whatever it was, he would have to continue his research to perfect the secret art.

Projecting his divine soul onto the Crimson Soul Tablet once again, Shang Xia stared at the words on the surface.

Martial Intent: Six Harmony Supporting the Heavens

Prerequisite Secret Art: Six Harmony Flawless Rod Technique

Prerequisite Martial Arts: Six Harmony Rod Technique

Essential Medium: Breath of a Heavenly Field

Essential Secret Art: World Establishing Art

Remarks: Destruction of a World or Creation of a World

Martial Intent Evaluation: Destruction and Creation is but a thought away.

He carefully looked at the requirements for him to comprehend his martial intent and thought about his Six Harmont Flawless Rod Technique. Ever since entering the Six Direction Realm, Shang Xia hadn’t stopped improving his understanding of it.

Even though he didn’t dare to say it was perfected yet, he could tell that it was much better than many Martial Void Realm secret arts.

It was especially so after he further refined it. It wasn’t just a rare art, but it could be considered the greatest foundation of Shang Xia’s path of cultivation. If anyone got their hands on it in the future, they would be able to gain great accomplishments in the Martial Void Realm if they simply followed his footsteps without coming up with anything on their own.

Next was his self-created Six Harmony Rod Technique. He completed all 6 moves that made up the martial art, and every single move correspeonded to one of the tiers in the Martial Void Realm.

At Shang Xia’s current level, the first 5 moves were pretty much perfected. Only Heaven Liberation, his sixth move, had room for further improvement. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Naturally, that wouldn’t obstruct his path to comprehend his martial intent. Due to the powerful blessing from the World’s Will when he entered the sixth tier, the effects were still lingering in his body. He needed to slowly digest everything he had gained and he was still some distance away from reaching the large completion stage.

If not for Shang Xia breaking the connection and feeling of enlightenment from the World’s Will blessing after reaching the level of Extreme Harmonization, he would have reached a higher level.

However, after understanding the karmic ties with the world and how it would affect his future, there was a resistance born in his heart. He didn’t wish to receive too much help from the Spirit Luxuriant World.

As for the essential medium required, Shang Xia suspected it was the pure energy he absorbed when passing through the Star Curtain. There were things he didn’t quite understand about it, for example, the pulsating feeling from the Heaven Observation Field. Also, he wanted to know if the pure energy was escaping because there were gaps in the Heavenly Screen.

If that was truly the case, he felt that the other Heavenly Fields would also possess something similar. He also wondered what form they would take when appearing.

To put it simply, if the Heaven Observation Field didn’t have the Star Curtain, Shang Xia wondered how he would be able to absorb the Breath of a Heavenly Field to comprehend his martial intent.

Of course, the prerequisite to the question was that the mysterious pure energy was the Breath of a Heavenly Field he was looking for.

No matter what it was, he would soon be able to verify the authenticity of his guess. Looking at the Star Observation Compass, he wasn’t far from the gap in the Star Curtain.

The chaotic streams suddenly became a lot more orderly and they seemed to be pushing in a certain direction.

Shang Xia thought to himself how the Heaven Observation Field was swallowing essence qi from the outside.

His speed fell significantly as he tried to advance and the further he got, the stronger he felt the force pushing back at him. It was so powerful that he was nearly unable to continue moving forward.

He was stuck in the void at the moment and if he was a little careless, he would be swept up by the strong current and appear in some random region of space. All the effort he made to appraoch the gap in the Star Curtain would go down the drain.

That was the difference between traveling through the chaotic streams in a Star Ship and with his physical body alone.

Traveling alone would allow them to move around move nimbly and they wouldn’t be too slow, but it wouldn’t be as safe as traveling in a Star Ship. Also, if Shang Xia was in a Star Ship at the moment, he would be able to travel against the flow because of the inertia.

Helpless, Shang Xia could only brace himself while standing against the powerful current, preventing himself from being swept away. He had to wait for the flow to reverse.

He didn’t know how long had passed when he felt the resistance weakening. He started to push forward again without waiting for the flow to reverse.

As the streams of qi showed signs of flowing in the other direction, Shang Xia started to fly father and faster. He quickly approached the gap in the Star Curtain.

He had always been keeping track of his speed, and he wanted to use his past experience to calculate the interval between each pulse.

He needed to approach the Star Curtain during the process in order to absorb as much of the mysterious energy as he could. Only by knowing the duration between each pulse would he be able to make full use of his time to stay in the opening of the Star Curtain.

Also, he didn’t know if there were differences between the timing of each pulse in different gaps in the Star Curtain, but since he was already there, he could only take the gamble. He hoped that his guess was accurate. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be easy for him to take in much of the mysterious energy he was looking for.

Adjusting his speed, Shang Xia started to extend his divine soul to his surroundings. He didn’t care about the consumption of his inner qi at the moment and all he wanted to know was the exact moment he passed through the Star Curtain.

He could feel the mysterious energy pouring into him from all directions as the Crimson Soul Tablet started to swallow it all. As more and more energy entered his body, Shang Xia’s eyes snapped open suddenly when he felt it reaching its peak.

The past 2 times, he couldn’t be sure when he passed through the heavenly screen. He might have been able to do so this time, but he failed to stop as he intended. He was pushed by the energy streams as he started to go faster and faster.

Realizing he had overshot, he quickly released a burst of inner qi and unleashed Void Seal, stabilizing the space around him.

He had been circulating the Six Harmony Flawless Rod Technique to the limit so as to absorb as much of the mysterious energy as possible.

At the same time, he tried to activate the Crimson Soul Tablet and its mighty projection appeared above his head the very next second. It started to absorb the energy at a much faster face than himself as its blurry figure became a lot more solid than before.

Good things never last and after 4 breaths of time, the effects of his Void Seal wore off. A powerful stream of energy started to flow once again, pushing him out.

If he were on a large-scale Star Ship, he would be able to remain for a few more breaths of time, but too bad for him, he was alone. He couldn’t resist the powerful pulse of the Heaven Observation Field and he was sent flying rapidly to the sea of stars outside.
