Ding Longao immediately refuted the statement, "She’s one of my officers. I know her better than anyone, and all her expeditions have been clearly documented. There’s no way she could have come in contact with the Wilderness Free Sect."

"That is precisely where you failed." Edward scolded, "As a commander, you don’t even know your own subordinate. If it weren’t for the Great Xia Northwest Military District supporting you, we would have every reason to suspect that you have been colluding with Ye Liuying."

Ding Longao couldn’t contain his anger anymore. "Ye Liuying is a twenty-something Golden Body Realm cultivator with limitless potential. She’s a treasure of Great Xia and humanity. I hope that you’ll be fair and objective when you make your judgment, rather than basing it purely on speculation."

"Your attitude greatly displeases me," Edward said. "Given that, you will need to be temporarily detained. If you come across any new leads regarding Ye Liuying, or other relevant intelligence, feel free to report it at any time."

With that, he stood up and left.

The foreign woman smiled cunningly. "Not only do I know that Ye Liuying is your sister, I also know that she’s in this store right now. I have some matters I’d like to discuss with Miss Ye Liuying."
