Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Chapter 81: Chapter 81 Extreme Ice Eagle 1

If he hadn't arrived in time, Sky Diana and Sky Nasrul would have likely met their end under the Silver Feather Bird's talons, and the one responsible for this was none other than Black Metal.

"Are you insane? This is murder!" Black Metal's heart was filled with regret. If he had known it would come to this, he would never have called Hat Tu for revenge, even if it killed him!

"So what?" Blaze Regret tightened the rope, satisfied that it was as sturdy as ever, and began to move it towards Black Metal.

Black Metal's throat moved as he gulped, and his hands trembled uncontrollably. If he were really hung upside down from a tree, no one in the Black Forest would find him, and there were countless ferocious spirit beasts here!

"Wait a minute!"

Just as the rope was about to fall onto him, Black Metal hurriedly shouted, "I have a detailed map of the Azure Dust Fruit. If you let me go, I'll give you this map!"

After speaking, Black Metal felt his heart bleed a little. He had found this map beside a skeleton, and despite the long exposure to the elements, it remained remarkably intact.

"Azure Dust Fruit?"

Sky Diana's bright eyes flashed. This was one of the spiritual herbs listed by Alif Azlin.

The Azure Dust Fruit, a second grade spiritual herb, was ineffective on spirit beasts but could purify the spiritual power within a spirit master, making it extremely rare and only found in the Black Forest.

Blaze Regret raised his eyelids slightly and looked at Black Metal with surprise. While marveling at Black Metal's luck, he unceremoniously extended his hand.

"Hand it over."

Good luck amounts to nothing without the strength to maintain it!

Reluctantly, Black Metal reached into the inner side of his robe and drew out a yellowed piece of paper, placing it unwillingly into Blaze Regret's hand.

"You can go now."

Blaze Regret threw out a quick remark and turned away decisively, as if he were shooing away an insignificant bug.

A trace of venom flashed in Black Metal's eyes as he chased after Hat Tu in the direction he had left, but a hint of scheme glimmered in his downcast gaze.

"Blaze Regret, at least I managed to keep my life, while all of you will perish in this forest."

"Is this where the traces of the Azure Dust Fruit are recorded?"

Looking at the yellowed paper that Blaze Regret spread out, Sky Diana blinked her beautiful eyes gently.

On the list given by Alif Azlin, there were six first grade spiritual herbs, but only this Azure Dust Fruit among the second grade herbs. This meant that as long as they could get their hands on the Azure Dust Fruit, they would be guaranteed to win the Angsana Pavillion Festival this time.

"Yes, it should undoubtedly be the Azure Dust Fruit. However, the small blue dot seems to represent something," Blaze Regret nodded slightly, his brow furrowed.

"Who cares what it is? We'll know when we get there," Sky Nasrul said excitedly.

After pondering for a while, Blaze Regret finally gave up studying the map, but that small blue dot remained like a needle in his heart.

By now, dusk had fallen. After resting for a night, they quickly headed towards the place marked on the map.

Walking through the quiet and dark forest, a faint white mist swirled around their bodies. Apart from the occasional sound of branches breaking, the only sound was their light footsteps.

"Swish!"

A red light flashed, and a massive lava wolf fell to the ground with a wail.

"A second tier low level warrior tier grade lava wolf."

While Red dug out its spirit core, Blaze Regret murmured. It seemed that the closer they got to that place, the stronger the spirit beasts they encountered became.

"We're almost there," Sky Nasrul muttered, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

Blaze Regret raised his face, squinting as he looked at the faintly visible outline of the mountain peak in the distance.

As the group passed through the forest, their view suddenly broadened. A towering mountain peak appeared clearly in their sight.

Blaze Regret's eyes slowly swept across the mountain peak, suddenly freezing on a protruding rock. There, a vibrant green vine was growing, with faint white specks among its leaves.

"That should be the Azure Dust Fruit, right?"

Rubbing his hands, Sky Nasrul's face showed a trace of excitement. He immediately released the wind element, intending to use it to retrieve the vine.

"Wait."

Blaze Regret suddenly spoke up.

"What's wrong?" Sky Nasrul looked at Blaze Regret in confusion. The wind elemental beside him obediently halted its movement.

"Don't you find it strange? Although the Azure Dust Fruit has obvious effects on spirit masters, that doesn't mean it has no effect on spirit beasts. So how has this Nine Dust Vine been preserved?" Blaze Regret said slowly.

The Nine Dust Vine is where the Azure Dust Fruit grows.

Upon hearing this, Sky Nasrul's face turned pale. In his excitement, he hadn't thought deeply about it. If Blaze Regret was right, there must be some terrifying presence nearby that kept the spirit beasts from devouring the Azure Dust Fruit!

Hesitating for a moment, Blaze Regret scanned the surroundings before nodding at Red.

"Arrooo~"

Red dashed to the foot of the mountain, its claws extending and embedding deeply into the rock as it swiftly climbed upwards.

Despite climbing several dozen feet, no spirit beast appeared to hinder Red's ascent.

This scene did not ease Blaze Regret's concerns. Instead, it made his frown deepen further.

"Gulp!"

Sure enough, as Red reached the Nine Dust Vine, an angry screech echoed from the mountain peak, causing the entire mountain's temperature to plummet significantly.

Immediately, a blue figure shot down from the summit. As it descended rapidly, dazzling ice crystals, carrying a chilling cold, fell between heaven and earth.

Blaze Regret's eyes narrowed slightly as he finally understood what that blue speck represented.

A high ranking warrior tier level spirit beast, an Extreme Ice Eagle!
