Cervantez questioned, as with each statement, the Arc of his sword got wider and wider until it was wide enough for Luke to slip between.

Recognising the chance before him, once Cervantez staggered off balance, Luke dropped his active sword and shield in favor of wrapping his arms around Cervantez’s waist, as he prepared for the [German Suplex]

Cervantez’s eyes widened in despair when he realized what Luke was planning to do, however, before he could push Luke off, or do something about his iron grip across his waist, with a violent jerk, Luke hoisted him in the air, planting him straight on his head in one fluid motion.

Cervantez felt an intense pain shoot up in his temple, as he felt all his senses numbing all at once.

It was a scene that he had witnessed several times before, when Luke was planting his opponents, however, he had never been on the receiving end of one.

‘Move… I must move! Or else I’m dead’ Cervantez thought, as he knew that the first Suplex was only but a prelude of what was to come next.

“Let me go! Let me go—” Cervantez protested, flailing his arms and legs strongly to try and slip out of Luke’s death grip, but failing.

Luke held onto Cervantez with all his strength and ensured that he gave him another suplex, this one even stronger than the first.

This time, Cervantez’s helmet rolled clean off his head upon impact, exposing his bare blonde head to the elements, as once again he felt the sensation of his limbs leave his body.

He tried to fight back, but his protests grew more feeble as compared to before, as Luke hoisted him once more, planting him onto the ground yet again, for the third suplex in a row.

A third suplex left Cervantez stunned as a trail of blood seeped onto his forehead from his temple, which had now been injured.

‘Its over…’ he thought, as he felt his body being hoisted yet again for a fourth Suplex, but his limbs unable to put-up any resistance.

Once again he was stunned, with the Suplex chain now activating, as Luke gained full control of this battle.

By the fifth Suplex, his skull cracked, causing critical damage, and by the seventh his HP dropped to a critical red level, with his stun period extended to a whopping 7 seconds.

“It’s over guildmaster…. With this I pay you back for the betrayal…. We are even now” Luke said, as he planted Cervantez one last time on his head to end the fight for now.

Luke exhaled sharply after defeating Cervantez, as he seemed to be unconsciously holding his breath up till then.

With every Suplex, he poured all of his heart and frustrations out, as he felt the weights weighing down on his shoulders lifting with every blow he delivered.

He did not have to end this fight using the [German Suplex], if he wished, he could have simply taken Cervantez’s head off when the opportunity presented itself and be done with it, however, he deliberately chose the most humiliating route.

He wanted the satisfaction of delivering every blow and for his opponent to feel powerless in his grip.

Hopefully, this loss would cause him to self-reflect and improve his ways, as Luke did not wish to make a permanent enemy of Cervantez.

If he improved, Luke very much wanted to mend their ties, however, he was no longer going to hope for it.

If it happened, he would welcome it, but If it did not, then he was not afraid to have Cervantez as his enemy either.

“Luke! You did it! You beat Cervantez! That was so cool—” PinkLotus said, as she hurriedly arrived beside Luke and congratulated him on the win with stars sparkling in her eyes.

The way Luke had fought this battle was a perfect representation of what he could achieve when he truly focused, as at his core, Luke was an exceptionally talented fighter, just like Leo and Alia.

Up-till now, he was too focused on guild work and other attachments to ever fully develop as a solo warrior, which was why he never outclassed Cervantez in combat potential.

However, ever since he left the DarkSky guild and focused on self improvement with the [Mind meditation manual] his growth had been extremely impressive, to the point where he could now defeat Cervantez without a scratch.

“Not bad…. SkyLion, I don’t think anyone will debate you being the number 3 player in the game anymore…” A voice came from the distance, as when Luke glanced over, he saw Leo and Dumpy perched upon the top of a broken house.

“Le–, Boss! Since when are you here?” Luke asked, as Leo leapt off the wall and landed before him with Dumpy following closely behind.

“Oh please, the West Duke? He could have lasted longer against me if I were alone, but against both me and Dumpy? HA! hahahahahaha—” Leo laughed maniacally as he pulled Dumpy in for a hug.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

“I merely assisted. It was all Lord Father’s doing–” Dumpy said, as Leo rubbed his face affectionately against Dumpy’s slimy skin, their bond having grown much closer now that Dumpy had matured sufficiently.

“In any case… that was a good fight, you should be proud. At this rate you will become a master warrior very soon!” Leo said, as Luke smiled heartily.

He too was waiting eagerly to become a master warrior, so that he could finally tell PinkLotus how he truly felt about her afterwards.
