Chapter 507
507 Pssh... I am not that cheap
So what was Zi Han watching that was so interesting? Well, it started off when doctor Kiet walked over in slow strides giving off suspenseful vibes. The unsuspecting Yi Feng hadn’t raised his head yet when with a whoosh a hand passed by his ear and slammed the door with a bang. A bottle was pressed on his chest and when he turned his head to look down he met the fiery eyes of the man a head shorter than him.
Yi Feng’s breathing stagnated as he plastered his back on the door a little startled. “What are you doing?” he whispered only for the man to curl his finger beckoning him to come closer.
Yi Feng’s adam’s apple bobbed as he gazed into these alluring eyes that had long snatched his soul. “But...,” there is someone here,’ he whispered finishing the rest of his sentence in his head.
He found himself obediently lowering his head thinking that his sweetheart was going to whisper something but he was absolutely wrong.
Just when he thought he had lowered his head far enough for a whisper, doctor Kiet moved a little closer, close enough to feel his warm breath but not close enough that their lips touched but the tension in the atmosphere was unfathomable. Feeling an inexplicable thirst arise within him Yi Feng couldn’t help but purse his thin lips and his adam’s apple rolled his jawline tightly clenched.
Aggrieved he couldn’t help but lean down a little more while calling out, “Kiet baby,” his voice barely audible but it made the audience tense.
‘Just kiss him already. You are making me nervous,’ yelled Zi Han internally almost biting the couch cushion in nervousness. Well, he also had to cover little nim nim’s eyes lest it learnt bad things. Just when Yi Feng gently grabbed his chin drawing in closer doctor Kiet took a step back and twisted the cap of the bottle.
He leaned his head back a little before taking a few sips. To others, this scene should be nothing. It was just a good looking guy drinking juice while slightly exposing his adam’s apple. Nothing special about that but to Yi Feng it was torture, the ‘look don’t touch’ kind of torture.
He couldn’t help but avert his gaze but like a magnet drawn to iron, he stole another glance.
.....
Doctor Kiet’s lips quirked on one side as he handed the juice over to him with one simple word, “Drink.”
Zi Han, “...”
‘AHHHH superb superb,’ he yelled internally while taking notes. How could he not take notes when he was in the presence of a master? He couldn’t wait to try that with Yi Chen. He couldn’t help but wonder if this great buddha was taking in disciples.
Yi Feng glanced at the quarter drunk bottle with his narrowed eyes before looking into those enchanting eyes. Without breaking eye contact he drank the juice returning the seduction back to sender. It’s just that this would have been even more impactful if he was drinking water.
When Yi Feng drank juice too fast he would get cramps. Doctor Kiet tried to stop him but who would have thought Yi Feng was faster?
He couldn’t help but shake his head only for the door to slide open and the former Marshal to take a step inside.
“What are you standing at the door for?” he reprimanded him just as he stepped in.
Yi Feng wanted to say, “Uncle this is my cabin and I can stand wherever I want,” but seeing his emotional state wasn’t right he kept his mouth shut.
Unfortunately for the former Marshal, the good doctor didn’t have such restraint. He couldn’t be bothered to read the room at all. “You know sir if you don’t knock one day you are going to walk into a smutty scene and go blind. The things I do with your nephew are too sultry which is why I lock the doors whenever we get down and dirty,” said doctor Kiet directly.
Zi Han, “*cough *cough.”
Yi Feng, “???”
He couldn’t help but wish the ground could open up and swallow him whole. Oh, that’s wrong, they were on a warship. Fine, he wished the warship floor would open up like a hatch so he could fall freely into the tranquil dark space.
“You...,” said the former Marshal, and Zi Han couldn’t help but stifle a laugh which of course attracted the former Marshal’s attention.
“*Sigh... you come with me,” he said and Zi Han wished he had kept his mouth shut.
“What if I say no,” he said his courage stemming from the fact that his father knew where he was and he would rescue him.
Yi Zhen who didn’t want to fight with Zi Han but make amends felt slight annoyance. How was he supposed to coax this kid into letting go of the past?
“I am not...,” he said only to realise that his voice sounded harsh thus he changed the tone and said again, “I am not trying to cause you trouble. I just need to talk to you. Since... since we are going to be family we can talk it out and air out our differences.”
Zi Han who wasn’t sure what kind of talking they could have was a little hesitant. His wrist which was broken by this man before suddenly ached bringing back bad memories.
“You didn’t answer the question. What if I say no?” said Zi Han his little Nimsel also glaring at the former Marshal. It could easily perceive the emotions of its hooman thus it also glared like a shoebill stork stalking its prey.
Yi Zhen had never been this much at a loss. He couldn’t help but ruffle his hair a little in frustration before saying, “I will sign an agreement with you. If I make you uncomfortable in any type of way you are free to leave with my sniper rifle. Is that okay?”
“Pssh... I am not that cheap,” said Zi Han looking away.
Yi Zhen pressed the tip of his tongue on his sharp canine tooth before taking it out.
“This here is a rare a.50 barrett rifle.... the last of ancient earth’s armory. It has changed hands for generations but it has been well maintained and is in pristine condition. Compared to what’s available on the market it’s not as powerful but it’s a novelty,” he explained but Zi Han’s eyes were already bright like light bulbs while he was internally squirming, ‘Give me give me give me! I want it.”
