The Black Necromancer

Chapter 536: The True Domain

"Get out of my way, Ijas." Izeal scowled and glared at the flaming True God.

"It seems I have to show you what it means to be the master of the Army of Destruction. You do not cross me and go off unscathed." Ijas shook his head and prepared to fight.

"Oho? Have you forgotten who I am? I am not one to be trifled with so easily, either." Izeal was taken aback, but his expression soon changed as a wolfish grin spread over his features.

BOOM!

At the same time, the both of them unveiled their Domains and the surrounding space suddenly changed entirely. Two contrasting forces began to shape the Laws to their whims, fighting to gain a greater footing than the other.

Leon and the others watched with apprehension as two contrasting sights came into view. It looked as if they had come into a world that was made with two distinctly different flavors. One side was wreathed in flames, with a very prominent volcano that was impossibly tall standing where all could see it.

One the other side, a very large, rocky mountain that features a massive skull on its top could be seen. An endless number of corpses and skeletons littered the mountain.

It was clear what Domain belonged to what person.

"This! This is much different! I can feel it. This Domain is an actual world!" Leon realized a great thing at that moment. Domains were not a new thing to him. Ever since he had reached C rank and formed his Core, he had been able to make a Domain, although it had never been too strong.

He knew of many others with their own unique Domains that could be applied in many different ways.

However, this was the first time he was witnessing the manifestation of a Domain like this. Instead of a barrier that was filled with the essence and power of a God, an entire world had manifested from nothing to impose the will of that God!

'This must be the essence of a True God. It is not just a realm of power that can be reached easily. It requires you to form your own World through your own power! I understand now. The Paragon of Undeath already has a world, but it must be imperfect and filled with flaws." Leon's mind spun at an impossible speed.

"He needs me to fix those imperfections and then he will use that to challenge the Nexus Being and achieve the true Perfection that he seeks!'

An explosion went off in Leon's mind as he finally understood the smaller nuances of this whole matter! While the Nexus Being had not lied to him, it had not gone into greater detail, so Leon did not have the full picture of everything. However, now he understood better what he needed to do.

He would have to handle that later, though.

Leon currently found himself alone within the Domains of these two immensely powerful True Gods. For some reason, the two True Gods had singled him out and allowed only him to enter their Domains, each for different reasons.

"Allow me to absorb him, Ijas. I will repay you for this another time." Izeal said, his face twisted with irritation.

"No, you have gone too far. I would rather destroy every last bit of him than let you have him. Let this be the punishment you have to bear." Ijas responded coldly and Leon felt a chill run down his back.

"It seems we cannot settle on a proper way to handle this, yes? Very well, then. I will handle it the way I have always known how to. Come and meet your end, Master of the Army of Destruction! Your corpse will be a valuable addition to my collection!

"Bring it on!"

BOOM!

Both Gods moved at once and Leon was immediately blown away by the shockwaves that emerged as a result of their exchange of blows. If he was in his human form, then Leon might have coughed up blood as a result of the terrifying waves of power running amok in his body.

'Th-this is what it feels like to witness the fight of True Gods? This is almost too overwhelming!' Leon struggled to accept the reality of what he had to fight. 'But if these two fight it out and injure each other, I can take advantage of that to finish off the Paragon of Undeath.' He thought of how to exploit this situation to his advantage.

'Leon Cromwell. I will teleport you away from this place and let you recuperate in peace. I will also teleport them away from Datar. Their fight has nothing to do with Datar, so that is within my abilities.' The voice of the Nexus Being rang out in Leon's mind. In the next second, the scenery changed and Leon found himself within his Divine Kingdom.

"Leon!"

At once, several figures appeared around him. Nedra and his summons landed the closest and approached.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. I managed to escape from them. But they will be back. Before they return, I intend to rest and recover to the best of my abilities. I suggest you all do the same as well." Leon answered their questions before they even asked a single one.

"They are both after you?" Nedra asked, a touch of concern on her face.

"Yes, the Paragon of Undeath believes I am the key to his perfection and wants to kill and absorb my life essence, while the master of the Army of Destruction wants to kill me and do away with any essence of my being that remains so the Paragon of Undeath cannot have it. In short, two very powerful beings want me dead and either of them could kill me alone." Leon sighed deeply.

"Leon Cromwell."

Leon turned around when a new voice interrupted. Not too far away, Shorn, the strongest Dragon God, landed and walked closer, a determined look on his face.
