Rein was extremely surprised by the details of the book. He was sure that with the knowledge of the history, now he would have an easier time working on the last volume of the book but at the same time, he was a bit sceptical as for how the author of the book was able to find so much hidden information. Some of the information were something that should only be known to Jakery and no one else.

That was the reason why Rein was suspicious about the authenticity of the book but his eye of truth was telling him that everything written on the book was somewhat true. So the author was not lying or making things up.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

But still that did not answer the question of how he came accross these information.

For that reason, Rein decided to check the whole book thoroughly. After some time, he was able to find a page that has something hidden written on it. Rein was excited to know what it was and held that page close to one of the candles and soon new letters appeared on the page.

Rein needed quite some time to understand the new letters as they were entangled with the old ones. But after he was able to seperate the two writings, he finally got the full idea of what had happened here.

From the secret writing, Rein came to know that, the author of the book had actually found a diary that belonged to Jakery. Most of the information that he had came from that diary.

The location where he had found the diary was also mentioned and the location turned out to be the exact spot where the ancient ruin was. After thinking about everything for a couple of minutes, Rein was able to guess what had actually happened.

He guessed that the diary that the author had found was most probably something Jakery had with him when he was trying to run away. So author must have found the diary in the outer area of the ruin alongside the Downfall of Nature and Society book.

From that hidden page, Rein also got to know that the diary was not the only thing that he had found. An expensive looking gem and a heavy token was also there. The place where those things were hidden by the author was also written in the page and Rein decided to check that out.

But before that he had a job to fulfill. Now that he had managed to find Letor, it was time for Rein to finish his job. So he immediately decided to take care of all the members of the Ghost of Youtu together.

His mission was to find all the members of the organisation and he did not really have any need to get rid of them by his own hand. So instead of directly killing them, Rein thought that it would be better to just capture them all and then hand them over to the secret service. So he did just that.

But before that, he took care of Letor in a different way. As most probably the only bloodline related to Jakery alive, Rein felt that killing him was a waste. So he decided to take him in as an employee of his estate. Rein could not hand him over to the secret service of the royal family as Letor now knew that Rein was searching for information about his ancestor. Rein could have tried to erase his memory with magic but suddenly developing a spell for that was troublesome and extremely difficult. So just telling the secret service that Rein had killed him and then moving him to his estate was much easier.

After getting done with him work, Rein returned back to the inn late at night. Luna had already returned and Lopas going to stay in the city lord's house for the night. So Rein was not able to give the good news to her and was only able to share it with Luna.

Luna had not really tried too hard to find the book but she had still checked the public portion of the library and had no results. From the size of the library she guessed that she might need three to five days to completely search the library. She was hoping to find the book that the academy needed as soon as possible.

She was also interested in finding the personal diary of Jakery. She guessed that the diary that they had found in the hidden room was most probably something like a work diary and this was his personal one where he had written more about his own life. Luna was extremely excited to find and read it.

But before that they needed to inform Lopas that they had already found the thing that they were looking for. Because of how her job was, she would still need to stay in the city lord's house for a few more days. During those days, Rein was planning to help Luna out with her job and then they could make preparations for a new outing. They did need to go to a few more cities for the remaining jobs and now with the appearance of this hidden treasure, they had more tasks added to their plate.

So the very next morning, Rein and Luna went to meet with Lopas. As young people, they did had some trouble at the gate but when the commotion got bigger and a more experienced guard came out to check, the problem was solved.

The guard who was related to all this trouble would definitely get a big punishment as he had the audacity to disrespect a member of the royal family. If Luna wanted, directly giving him a death sentence was also possible. But fortunately both Luna and Rein did not thing that the guard deserved a death sentence so his life was at least spared.

Seeing Rein and Luna, Lopas was extremely excited and told them that last night after checking the personal library of the city lord, she had managed to find some clues about Jakery. Rein did not immediately informed her about his discovery and allowed Lopas to tell what she had managed to find out.

It turned out that Lopas had managed to find out that Jakery had run away from his house and about his childhood. This was an information that Rein already knew but Lopas also knew about what happened to his family later on which was something he did not have any idea about.

So what happened to his family after Jakery run away from his house ?
