The Misfit of Demon King Academy

Chapter 231.2

Chapter 231.2

Arcana looked at my clothes.

“Normally, to make full use of Lyeno Ga Roaz’s order, undressing him would have been the proper way to do it.” (Arcana)

“A-Absolutely not! Why is divine magic so inappropriate?! You said you forgot your divine name, but are you sure you’re not the God of Indecency with some indecent order?!” (Sasha)

“Child of demons, I am a god, not a mortal. A god’s nudity is sacred, and free of impure thoughts. It is nothing to be concerned about.” (Arcana)

Sasha looked at Misha for help.

“But now, I think you should put your clothes on.” Misha said plainly.

Arcana seemed to understand as she drew a magic circle on her own body.

“Divine garments, appear.” (Arcana)

Divine clothing from Jiordal appeared on her small body.

“Memories drift in dreams, huh,” I muttered.

Arcana looked at me.

“How was it?” she asked, repeating her earlier question.

“I had a dream. A dream of my childhood before I was called the Demon King of Tyranny.” I answered, recalling the dream I had.

“I was living with my little sister.” (Anos)

“…Anos, you had a sister?” Sasha asked, puzzled.

“You said you didn’t.” Misha followed, also looking at me.

“I thought I didn’t. I never knew my parents. My mother died giving birth to me.” (Anos)

“Are your memories fake?”

It would be troublesome if they were altered.

“Or maybe I’ve forgotten. She could’ve been my half-sister from a different mother, or born from magic. I have no memory of my father either. Or perhaps she and I weren’t related by blood.” (Anos)

Apparently, my sister was being chased by dragons.

However, dragons pursuing one specific individual was unheard of two thousand years ago.

If that memory was real, then my sister was someone special.

Why did she have dragons after her?

“Hmm. Still, it doesn’t feel real. I don’t feel like I ever had a sister.” (Anos)

Though it was quite a coincidence that her name was Arcana too.

Or maybe it wasn’t a coincidence

“You merely saw your memories drifting in your dreams,” Arcana said.

Which meant that it wouldn’t feel real unless I truly remembered, it seemed.

“Before I forgot my divine name, I might have had an opposing order to that of the Keeper of Dreams since my chemistry with Lyeno Ga Roaz’s order is bad. I couldn’t fully control his order, so I couldn’t restore all your memories at once.” (Arcana)

An order opposing dreams, huh. I wonder what that could be.

“If we continue, you might remember more.” (Arcana)

“You’re gonna do that again!?” Sasha exclaimed.

“My missing memories might be part of someone’s scheme. Just as Arcana said, remembering would be beneficial for me.” (Anos)

“Y-Yes… You’re right…” (Sasha)

“There’s a god with greater control over memories than Lyena Ga Roaz. Using their order might help restore all your memories at once.” (Arcana)

“If only we could have a convenient meeting with that god. Any idea how to find them?” (Anos)

Arcana nodded.

“Then we’ll discuss it later. I personally asked Misha and Sasha to come. There’s something I want to verify first.” (Anos)

“What is it?” Sasha asked.

“The Blasphemous God. The Goddess of Absurdity Genedonov.” (Anos)

The draconid soldiers who saw their fused form called Sasha and Misha the Goddess of Absurdity.

They were both demons, but it wasn’t impossible for them to have some connection to gods.

“As you told us, we interrogated them about what they knew, but they wouldn’t tell us,” Sasha said.

“They were frightened and angry,” Misha added.

“Arcana.” (Anos)

“The Blasphemous God opposes gods and destroys order. The Goddess of Absurdity Genedonov was the first god to rebel against order. The Magic Eyes of Absurdity destroy all magic and reshape everything. Their power is said to disrupt logic and remake the world.” (Arcana)

Sasha turned her head.

“But our eyes aren’t the Magic Eyes of Absurdity, they’re just the Magic Eyes of Creation and Magic Eyes of Destruction used together at the same time. Although, it might look like the power of only one pair of Magic Eyes when fused.” (Sasha)

Misha nodded.

“Can you tell if you see them?” I asked Arcana.

“…I have never met the Blasphemous God. But if they have an order, I can sense some of a god’s power.” (Arcana)

“Hmm. Let’s try then.”

Sasha and Misha nodded at my words.

They clasped hands, drew one half of a magic circle each, and merged them together before adding another circle over it and sending magic power into it.

“<Divine Fusion Rebirth Dino Jixes>,” they chanted.

Particles of light rose from the magic circle, illuminating the room.

In that dazzling light, their bodies merged into one girl with silver hair and eyes.

“We just have to show her our eyes, right?” Sasha asked.

“…Nh…” Misha replied.

She creates a pseudo-Delsgade above the house.

The silver-haired girl uses Magic Eyes of Creation and Magic Eyes of Destruction simultaneously.

Arcana looked closely at the magic circle in her eyes.

But she didn’t speak immediately.

“What’s wrong?” (Anos)

“…It feels familiar…” Arcana murmured while gazing at the girl’s eyes.

She herself seemed surprised that she recognized them.

“Before I lost my divine name, I must have seen these eyes somewhere,” she said.
