Chapter 477 I Just Got Lucky
477 I Just Got Lucky
Chapter 477
...…..
"As we were saying-" Just as Azmond was about to continue his conversation with the baffled master and disciple pair, he was interrupted by Emu, saying:
"Mhmu! Mhmu!" It squeaked with its golden eyes shining while looking at all the appetizers.
"You too?" Azmond asked.
"Mhmu! Mhmu!" Emu confidently confirmed.
FWIP!
And that was all the confirmation that was needed for tens of plates to materialize in front of the black and gold slime.
"Mhmu! Mhmu!"
Emu's eyes sparkled, as it had already started voraciously devouring everything that it saw!
…
"..." "..."
Adrian and Elara stared at this scene with blank stares, as they didn't even know what they should think anymore.
"Anywho, as I was saying, could we perhaps stay at your residence while we're enrolled in the Academy of AquaRing?" Azmond asked with an easygoing expression.
"..." "..."
The BranchMaster and his disciple were still trying to comprehend the revelations they had heard not even a few seconds ago…
"You wish to stay here…?" Adrian finally asked after a second to calm his nerves.
"Yes," Azmond replied instantaneously.
"I see…"
The BranchMaster wasn't even sure what to say, so he just nodded his head and said, "You can stay however long you want. However, could you show me one thing in return?"
"...I don't mind, so what is it you want to see?" Azmond inquired after a moment to think it over.
"Could you show me the aura you used to win a competition as prestigious as the Centennial Clash? I wasn't able to witness the matches myself, but I had heard of there being Half-Step Mahayana Realm Experts being expected to win."
The BranchMaster and heir of the IronHeart Household may not be very informed of ongoing news, especially after being asked to return for his Duke training, but even he was aware of big events like the Centennial Clash.
But surely I must've heard wrong this time, right!? I mean, there's no way that this youngster is capable of going from the Early Unity Form Synthesis Realm to the Half-Step Mahayana Realm in a mere couple years!
Right!?
Adrian was beginning to profusely sweat as he thought of the possibility that Azmond really had broken through nearly two major realms being the reality of the situation…
And it wound up that his ridiculous speculations turned out to be proven correct, as an aura at the very peak of the Half-Step Mahayana Realm was unleashed from Azmond's masked figure!
WAAAA!
The top of the IronHeart Mansion nearly had its diamond-adorned roof blown off as immense pressure pressed down on everything within thousands of miles!
…
"Th-This is…" Neither Adrian nor Elara could believe their eyes as they stared at the man before them in disbelief.
"H-How can this possibly have happened!? You were in the Early Unity Form Synthesis Realm not even a few years ago! How could you have already broken through not only the Tribulation Transcendence Realm but also the Half-Step Mahayana Realm!?"
Adrian's astonished voice reverberated throughout the commodious halls of the lounge area of his mansion as he stared wide-eyed at the phenomenon occurring before him.
Azmond's smirk widened a little through his mask as he said, "I just got lucky. So which rooms can we use?"
"Lucky!? And the first two on the right are vacant," Adrian replied.
"Cool, I'll talk to you later, old dude. And once again, it was nice seeing you," Azmond responded, his body already getting up off the couch.
*Tap Tap*
He walked through the white marbled halls of the IronHeart Mansion, aiming to settle himself in before he prepared for his cultivation session.
After all, there were still many gains that he had to digest from this recent wealth-relinquishing spree.
Which included not only monetary currencies but also all the Qi Pills and Qi Abode enhancers that he obtained from his fans—fans that were still searching for any trace of him, even at this very moment…
*Shiver!*
Azmond shuddered a little bit when he thought of all the thirsty women that must be searching for any trace of his existence.
But luckily for him, he managed to hide his tracks relatively well with his 'flawless disguise'!
Nonetheless, footsteps echoed out as Azmond approached the two rooms that the BranchMaster told them they could have.
"Do you wish to go to your own room, Calista?" Azmond asked with a gentle smile, his hand clasped onto hers from atop his head.
"Nuh uh!" Calista vehemently rejected the mere notion of ever doing something so blasphemous, as she clung even harder to his soft bed of long black hair.
*Sigh…* Azmond sighed a little at the adorable clinginess of his little angel as he opened the door to the first room and let everyone enter inside.
After which, he closed the doors before beginning to set out everything that he would be using for his cultivation session that could last until the entrance ceremony began for the AquaRing Academy.
"Did we just get treated as thin air, Master?" Elara questioned with her mouth still agape.
"Yes, I think so, my disciple," Adrian replied with a look that said he had just been offered to be conned, and he took the offer without a second of hesitation.
*****
Meanwhile, in the large and lavishly decorated gold and blue room that Azmond, Calista, Boundless, and Emu would be staying in for the next indefinite period of time.
WAAAA!
Azmond was sitting cross-legged on a cultivation efficiency-enhancing mat while glossing over all his recent gains from inside a Qi-canceling barrier.
And while he was sitting there, he was receiving thousands upon thousands of System Notifications from all the remote experience grinders that he had working away.
Although Azmond never did take out all the monsters he escorted (kidnapped) away from their homes, he was able to receive both the system notifications obtained from the work of his Main-Party Members, the new humans and beastkin he added to his 'Non Main-Party', and also the experience acquired from his contracted beasts.
Which at this moment, were fighting things called 'Star Beasts'.
