Chapter 162: Did Gudako Die?
Chapter 162: Did Gudako Die?
As they watched Spike carrying Tom and the shield with Gudako's wig, walking away until he disappeared from their sight, Mashu and C Chulainn exchanged glances and didn't attempt to stop Spike. After all, Gudako, who had seemingly been able to defeat Tom and Spike with a single punch, was now lying unconscious. What chance did they have to stop Spike? It would only be like offering their heads and a dog's head!
Staring at the direction where Spike left, Mashu couldn't help feeling a pang of sorrow for the shield he took. It held the wishes of the Knights of the Round Table! If it were possible, Mashu would have preferred to be taken instead. At least, she would have wanted to keep the shield by her side.
Just to make it clear, she didn't want to be taken away. Her wish was to save Sir Galahad and protect the Round Table shield together!
Feeling distracted, Mashu was lost in thought. So C Chulainn coughed a couple of times, pretending to remind her. "Cough, cough."
Startled by C Chulainn's cough, Mashu quickly straightened herself, blushing as she spoke loudly to C Chulainn. "Uh, wh-what's wrong, Mr. C Chulainn?"
For some reason, she felt a strong sense of guilt in her heart.
"Uh, how about lowering your voice a bit?" C Chulainn covered his ears in response to Mashu's loud words.
"S-sorry!"
"Now, should we consider making a run for it?" C Chulainn suggested, glancing at the unconscious Gudako on the ground. "If that dog comes back, it won't be good."
Hearing C Chulainn's proposal, Mashu, wanting to conceal her previous emotional state, nodded solemnly. "You're right."
"But... How is Ritsuka doing now?"
As C Chulainn asked the question, both of them turned their gazes to Gudako, who was lying on the ground. They wanted to check her current condition.
Current Gudako was lying peacefully on the ground, appearing serene. Mashu felt deeply saddened by her fallen senpai, with 51% of her thoughts grieving Gudako's apparent demise, and only 49% contemplating what might happen if she herself were captured.
However, just as Mashu mourned, a series of loud snores emanated from Gudako's mouth.
"ZZZzzzzz~~~"
Mashu: "..."
C Chulainn: "..."
They exchanged another glance, and C Chulainn pointed at himself with his thumb, while Mashu nodded in agreement.
Receiving her approval, C Chulainn decisively approached Gudako, raised his leg, and delivered a strong kick to her abdomen.
With a single blow, Gudako's upper and lower body curled up, forming a perfect V shape.
"Puh!!!" In her V-shaped form, Gudako spat out a mouthful of rainbow-colored blood because red wouldn't pass the content filter.
After kicking her, C Chulainn quickly returned to Mashu's side, afraid of Gudako discovering it was him who delivered the blow. It was evident that there was some personal animosity behind the kick.
Mashu chose not to mention C Chulainn's assault on their friend, realizing that revealing it would have dire consequences. Gudako, the despicable woman... oh, no, the bald despicable person might really blow them up!
Mashu gently cleared her throat and spoke in a soft tone to the now awakened but still groggy Gudako. "You're awake, senpai."
"Is this heaven?" Gudako looked around before settling her gaze on Mashu. "Ah, Mashu-chan is in heaven too. So, Mashu-chan, did you get caught as well?"
"Senpai, please come to your senses. You haven't been captured yet," Mashu said, placing her hands on Gudako's shoulders and gently shaking her.
"Ah, really?" Gudako seemed confused as she reached out to scratch her hair. However, her fingers touched a smooth, bald surface. Gudako suddenly felt like her heart and lungs had stopped.
"Huh? Where's my hair?!"
"Have you lost your memory?" C Chulainn raised an eyebrow, trying to sound attacking but also holding back, using a mildly offensive tone to attack Gudako. "Didn't Schrdinger already take your hair?"
"Huh? Huh? Huh huh huh?!" Gudako blinked in confusion, and then her face twisted in a constipated expression as she realized what happened. "Schrdinger, give me back my hair!"
Furious and devastated, Gudako looked around to make sure there were no onlookers and then resolutely lay on the ground, flailing her arms and legs like a tantrum-throwing child.
"Senpai, please act normal." Mashu's mouth twitched slightly, and she had a bead of cold sweat on her forehead, looking like a realistic version of a sweating soybean.
Gudako stood up with determination and charged in the direction Schrdinger had left. However, her speed was quite slow, taking about 5 seconds to run one meter.
"Mashu, don't stop me, I'm going to have a decisive battle with that damned Schrdinger!" After running for about half a meter, Gudako looked back at Mashu with some confusion and shouted louder, "Mashu, don't stop me!"
"I understand, senpai!" Mashu nodded vigorously and cheered her on, "Wishing you great success in battle!"
Hearing Mashu's words, Gudako's running speed slowed down again, now taking about 10 seconds per meter. Gudako seemed disappointed in Mashu's response, looking as though she was about to have constipation. She reiterated her plea to Mashu, blinked her right eye, and gave her a determined look, saying, "Mashu, please don't stop me!"
"You can go with peace of mind. I'll watch over you, senpai!"
