Chapter 235: Hellsiv
Chapter 235: Hellsiv
Aleron sent all the souls of the dead into his Hell, preparing to refine them while they suffered punishment.
"The paragon ranks with them didn't enter this region, and they should have already left," Shelby said. "And now that we have killed two Transcendents and five Unbound-ranks of theirs, they might come after us with stronger strength."
"Well, let's try asking for help then," Aleron said as he took out a crystal. But it didn't work in this chaotic phenomenon. "Let's explore this phenomenon first. We might get something good."
"Yeah."
Luna and Kira stayed on the deck of the ship, protected by the chaotic beasts.
Meanwhile, Aleron and Shelby went to the first floor of the ship, entering below as they arrived in a huge hall with rotten furniture and corridors leading to different places. It was like a maze in this two-kilometer-long and one-kilometer-wide ship.
The influence of the chaotic phenomenon increased on the first floor as Aleron started seeing more 'chaos ghosts,' as he called them, with their grotesque appearances and attacks on his mind and soul.
It was particularly attacking his mind, showing him images of destruction and sadness of random people who were relatives of the ones he had punished.
It was trying to seed doubt and guilt into him while attacking him.
Aleron stopped moving after several seconds as the influence grew stronger, his pupils becoming white.
'Guilty?'
'I am doing the wrong thing?'
'I am not correct?'
Suddenly, Aleron's eyes flickered into life as a golden glow burst out from them.
"I am right!"
Aleron uttered with absolute conviction and confidence.
"I am just!"
His proof was the world he created!
Evil Erasure Fan-6-star Magic Print!
Screeches and roars rang as Aleron obliterated all the grotesque ghosts.
"Let's continue," Aleron turned to Shelby and nodded.
Shelby smiled and nodded, "There's a particularly nasty presence on this floor that's materialized. We should kill it."
"Sounds good."
Shelby walked ahead of him as he followed her while looking around, sending his Cosmic Eyes to explore as well.
Just as his head moved as he saw Shelby's back, her head suddenly twisted, now facing him, and her mouth unnaturally opened wide.
Aleron was shocked but then frowned as he waved his hand, using Magic Print as the ghost vanished.
"Shelby! Where are you?!"
Aleron frowned. 'It seems that a stronger entity targeted my soul...I have magic print's power, but my soul shouldn't be stronger than real danger here, so it's influencing me.'
'I have to think of a better Magic Print that can deal with all kinds of soul-related entities...'
After all, this was a chaotic phenomenon of 11-power, meaning it was for Unbound-rank, and Aleron's soul power was not in that realm yet.
'But Shelby should be able to save me...so what is happening?'
Aleron suddenly felt the corridor and surroundings vanishing as everything turned pitch black.
Hundreds of glowing red eyes blinked in unison around him, sending an oppressive wave of malicious intent.
A chilling wind blew across the black hall, carrying whispers that clawed at his mind, each word laced with venomous spite.
Without warning, the mysterious entity began its assault.
A swarm of shadowy tendrils shot out from the darkness, each one aiming to latch onto Aleron's soul. As the first tendril touched Aleron, an intense surge of agony shot through him -memories of the souls he had sent to his Hell flashed before his eyes, their voices twisted in endless torment, begging for mercy. The ghosts screamed accusations at him, echoing through his mind:
"You are a monster!"
"We were innocent!"
"You will pay for your sins!"
'Not this shit again!'
Aleron felt a splitting pain behind his eyes as the malicious ghost poured every ounce of guilt and anguish into his consciousness, attempting to break him. The glowing red eyes in the darkness grew larger, multiplying, their numbers endless.
"Your justice is false," a deep, mocking voice whispered in his mind. "You are no better than us."
'Shut up!'
For a fleeting moment, doubt flickered in Aleron's soul. His conviction wavered under the barrage of accusations. The faces of those he had judged appeared vividly, their deaths replaying in endless loops, twisted and mangled by his hellish torment. It was overwhelming. His grip on reality began to slip, the weight of the souls' cries dragging him into darkness. But Aleron's belief in his own righteousness surged back with a burning intensity. He knew why he was doing this and why he took up the role of absolute judge.
Pain flooded his soul due to the attack, trying to make him weak, but he was focusing only on one thing: to create a better Magic print.
With a snarl of defiance, he spread his arms wide, his magic pulsing violently.
Evil Erasure Fan-6-star Magic Print!
Golden light exploded from him, swirling like a torrent of divine wrath. The shadows screeched as the purifying power tore through the tendrils, invading his soul. One by one, the red eyes burst into flames, leaving only the blinding brilliance of Aleron's energy illuminating the room.
"I am just!" Aleron shouted, his voice booming with authority, pushing back against the ghost's soul attacks.
This gave him a bit of relief, but whatever the ghost that was attacking him continued. Yet, despite the damage, the entity pressed forward, its attacks growing more ferocious. Aleron felt a sudden shift-one of the tendrils had broken through his defenses and latched onto his soul. The ghost's presence was invasive, trying to consume him from within. "You will join us!" the ghost bellowed as it began pulling at Aleron's very essence. Aleron's body stiffened, his mind drowning in flashes of despair and suffering. His vision blurred as the weight of the dead pressed on him. Shelby called out, her voice distant, but he couldn't respond.
In the depths of his mind, where the ghost sought to bind him, Aleron's spirit flared with a fierce, unyielding will. He would not bend!
"Join you?!"
"You are going to join my Hell!"
With a roar, he summoned forth the new Magic Print he created of 7-star: Hellsiv, amplifying
his connection to the souls he had imprisoned.
He had read their memories, and he knew all of their intentions, the evil they did. He had all
the memories of them!
At the moment, his soul was connected to Hell in the lower cosmos via this 7-star Magic
Prints power.
His Hell responded to his call, and from its depths, chains of infernal energy erupted, wrapping around the ghost's tendrils, reversing the attack.
"You want to punish me?" Aleron growled, his voice dripping with power. "I am the
Punisher!"
"I am the Punisher!"
The chains tightened, dragging the ghost's essence out of Aleron and pulling it toward the
portal to his Hell. The ghost screeched, writhing violently as it was forcibly ripped from the
chamber's depths.
Right after that, Aleron felt a burst of light as the darkness vanished.
He saw Shelby's bosom right above him as she looked at him with concern, her hand on his
forehead in a gentle care.
"Master..." Shelby uttered as ultimate relief washed over her.
"What happened?" Aleron got up from her lap and sat up while rubbing his temples. "Who
attacked me?"
"It was a malicious entity on this floor. I think it could invade through the individual ghosts produced via the chaotic phenomenon. It obviously wouldn't target me given my soul power, so its only choice was you," Shelby wryly smiled.
"I wanted to help, but it was completely latched to your soul and if I did something, it could
result in your soul damage. I decided to wait and let you deal with it while I observed your soul. If things went bad, I would've forcibly made the move to remove it, but fortunately, you won on your own," Shelby hugged Aleron. "Sorry, Master."
"No need to say sorry," Aleron chuckled and patted her back. "Let's continue."
"There's only one more floor below this and it has a more powerful entity, but we should be
able to deal with it now if we make a move from the start," Shelby said with cold eyes. She had
already explored the ship using her surveillance skills.
"You found the boss, already?"
"Indeed."
Aleron grinned, "Then let's go. I have a perfect way to deal with them. I also realized that
absorbing ghosts into my Hell can give me soul essence after I refine them."
Magic Print: Hellsiv, was a wonderful power.
Since the ghost attacked him regarding the topic of his justice and the way of life he chose, he
created Magic Print after inspiring him to defeat it completely.
And now, the Hell he created, and the memories he absorbed were the foundation of this
power.
"I did some mysterious power surging from you briefly before you woke up," Shelby nodded with a smile. "You must have created a powerful Magic Print."
"Yep."
Aleron showed it to Shelby and seeing it, Shelby couldn't help but be amazed.
[Magic Print: Hellsiv]-7-star.
-Effect:
--> Malicious intent directed at you is attacked by all the malicious intents belonging to the
residents of your Hell.
-> Forcefully pulls the spiritual and soul entities who had contacted your soul via any means
into your Hell.
"Master, this is incredible. Your Hell is now powered by Cosmos Will Rexian's genesis powern/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
as well, so it can surely refine all the souls no matter how powerful, not to mention that you formed a direct connection with your Hell by creating this Magic Print." "Indeed," Aleron grinned. "I can already check and found the abundance of pure soul essence
that is refining from that entity I captured."
"And now, we'll get the boss of this chaotic phenomenon as well. Let's go."
