Undying Warlord

Chapter 699 Sixth Tier

The Perfect Essence Cultivation technique was the most natural technique that could be used to advance to the next Tier.

Dilan's situation may be a little bit unique because he didn't require a faux Divinity to artificially increase his Divine Essence Crystal but the principle was similar.

He absorbed a tremendous amount of Essence from the heaven and earth around him and he used it without any qualms. The Essence in a radius of thousands of kilometers.

Dilan didn't hold back a tiny bit. He was in dire need of Essence so he took it from everywhere without any hesitation.

His advancement was accelerated and Dilan was able to break down the obstacle to the sixth Tier layer by layer. It took him two years in which he didn't move his body by an inch. He didn't eat, drink, sleep, or even think about anything else but the cultivation process of his Divine Essence Crystal.

But these two years were not in vain, Dilan broke the final shackle of his Divine Essence Crystal and he advanced to the sixth Tier. He could be considered a Lesser God without being in possession of a Divinity.

Dilan felt a sudden surge of power swelling inside his body but that was already the biggest change he noticed. The power that swelled inside him was distributed throughout his entire body. Every single special trait and ability he possessed was enhanced, and it felt like his body was undergoing a general reinforcement.

His physique was not altered because it was already as close to perfection as a physique could go, but his strength was enhanced drastically.

Even the Flame of the Beginning was faced with a great reinforcement of its strength. The same could be said about Dilan's Undying Origin ability.

Basically, Dilan's entire being underwent a drastic enhancement. His physical strength increased by three or four times, and so did everything else about him.

'How strong am I now?'

He wondered as he got up from the ground.

Yet, upon taking a single step forward, the ground below him gave in.

…he had used too much force when stepping on the ground.

"The hell…" Dilan mumbled while taking another glance at his body.

He made a second step forward while focusing on the amount of force he applied. However, the result was similar as before, just not as destructive as before. The floor only cracked, it didn't burst open completely.

Dilan frowned for a moment before a bright smile appeared on his face.

"I am fucking strong!"

Dilan stayed in his room for a few more minutes to adjust his strength accordingly. He sealed his mana inside his body and released it slowly to make sure that he was still able to control his body properly.

After he was done with a few experiments, that included ripping off his arm, manifesting the strongest flame his body could handle and experimenting a little with his Power of Destruction and more, Dilan was more than satisfied.

He left the building, opened the Divinity Messenger, and took a look at the messages written in the more important group chats.

There weren't many messages but the Queen's Image was also inside them. Taking a look at her messages which were mostly related to mapping updates and information about the position of most Ancient True Gods and the action and behavior of members belonging to the Ancient and Primordial races, Dilan could tell that he missed lots of fun.

Considering it 'fun' was only possible because none of his beloved died during the last two years. He noticed a few messages that mentioned how some had been heavily injured but that was still fine as long as nobody died.

Most injuries could be tended to as long as one searched for the right people to heal them. Thus, Dilan was not angered in any way. He could tell that everyone worked hard to collect the necessary materials to finish the Chaos Obelisks.

Dilan sensed the presence of two finished Chaos Obelisks in Old Jeff's workshop and a third one that was about to be completed.

The remaining two Chaos Obelisks would require approximately two more years because the last Chaos Obelisk was a little bit special as it required more focus to construct it. After all, it was supposed to survive in a hellhole such as the planetary core of Milarn!

Dilan was not on his way to Old Jeff's workshop though. He was actually not sure where he was headed to. It looked like a new floor had been constructed on the flying island's palace because he could sense that most of his people, the stronger ones, were located up there.

The only issue he faced was to find a way upstairs without destroying everything in his path. This was quite troublesome but he found his way up after he asked a few hurrying humans.

They were a little annoyed for being stopped mid-way but they began to stutter and sweat buckets when looking at Dilan.

'Am I that frightening to look at? I am pretty sure that I am quite good-looking…weird…'

Dilan thought, ignoring the black blood that was splattered all over his body. He had yet to clean his body from two years ago…

Though he didn't sweat and his natural smell was exceptional with the Flame of the Beginning burning every bit of bad odor the moment it reached Dilan, it was time for him to wash up.

Thus, it was great that he met Kathrine as she was about to enter a large hall where everyone seemed to be seated.

"Oh Dilan, you're finally awa–...why the hell do you look like this?" She asked, a little stupefied.

It was pretty obvious that the black blood was not Dilan's. However, his signal had clearly been located in his room for the last two years.

So how the hell was black blood supposed to be all over his body?!

"What are you…oh…now everything makes sense…" Dilan was baffled at first, but looking at his arms he quickly understood what he had missed out on before.
