Undying Warlord

Chapter 745 The Problem

"We have a problem…"

That was the first thing Dilan heard from Nial Orin, the man who was also known as Eternal Darkness, a fellow Fate Changer.

Nial's eyes were still as lifeless as before, his hair was silver and bound back to a man bun, and he had still the same flawless fair skin as before.

His physique didn't change too much in Dilan's opinion but the presence around Nial was completely different as before. It was almost as if Nial had problems controlling his power because it radiated from his body at every moment.

'This darkness, mixed with chaos and these other abilities he has…something feels wrong….' Dilan thought, squinting his eyes while exerting the Mythic Eyes to take a closer look at the hidden powers of Nial and the powers he released.

However, there was not much for Dilan to see. He noticed that the Eternal Darkness was stronger than him, just like he had been in the past. Dilan didn't really care about that much anymore because he could escape death and overcome all kinds of trouble with his True Divinity rather easily, whether his opponent was stronger than him or not didn't really matter!

"Is it Hoert?"

Nial shook his head at Dilan's question, but that was only more reason for the Undying to be confused.

"We don't face such a crisis yet. Hoert is still taking his time. Apparently, he is a slowpoke, from what I heard, at least. Either way…we have a different issue to pay attention to rather than Hoert!" Nial Orin said before he began to explain the situation.

'Hoert is a slowpoke…where the hell would you hear something like that?' Dilan thought to himself before he started to listen to the Eternal Darkness.

"A Primordya Veiluris is about to emerge at the border between the known Universe and the parts that have yet to be discovered. While traveling through the unknown Universe, I found out quite a few things, and I…witnessed…quite clearly that it won't be possible to defeat any Primordya without the Power of the Fate Changers…"

"It might sound weird to you, but only Fate Changes can harm the Primordya, which includes the Primordya Veiluris, whose strength is even higher…than mine…"

After that, Nial began to describe the appearance of the Primordya Veiluris and much more. He grit his teeth and clenched his hands until his fingernails dug deep into his palms. It was almost as if he was speaking about something extremely terrible that had happened and Dilan realized quite quickly what happened.

'Looks like he didn't face many defeats in the past. He was always the strongest and most talented, yet, he failed to assess the situation properly. He caused the death of people who are important to him… Even Gods and Fate Changers are not invincible. We make mistakes as well…'

Dilan scratched the back of his head while continuing to listen to Nial's explanations. He was already done creating a plan that was closely related to how the Undying and the Eternal Darkness defeated the Primordya Veiluris, whose strength was above that of any Primordial, simply because they wouldn't be able to injure him.

Apparently, Nial had been with a few Primordials when they encountered the Primordya Veiluris. They had barely been able to push it back through the Veil and temporarily seal the Veil with the power Nial possesses over Chaos.

"So only Fate Changers can injure the Primordya while even Primordials are powerless against them. But even if Primordials cannot injure them, shouldn't it be possible to hold the Primordya Veiluris down, at the very least? It doesn't really make sense that they cannot do anything against them…" Ariel pointed out.

Ariel Silvertale had been present when Nial Orin had appeared, and the Eternal Darkness hadn't really paid much heed to the Essence Angel. That was after he found out that Ariel was an Essence Angel and not one of the 'real' Angels.

Before that, he had released his killing intent, showing that he was ready to kill her in the blink of an eye.

At that time, Dilan was quite certain that he would have to fight Nial to protect Ariel.

Nial calmed down, fortunately, but that didn't change Dilan's vigilance against Nial. The Eternal Darkness had changed quite a bit.

However, they had to fight together, one way or another.

"Primordials and beings on par with Primordials can join the fight but they won't be able to inflict any injuries. Even the Power of Obliteration and the Power of Soul Incineration are basically useless against the Primordya Veiluris. The Oracle told me that there are not that many Primordya but each of them is extremely powerful.

However, the Primordya Veiluris is one of the weakest, according to the Oracle."

Dilan heard the name 'Oracle' a few times too often. It showed Dilan that Nial trusted the Oracle and that he relied on her information. Dilan was the exact opposite. He didn't trust the Oracle or the things she said because it looked like she didn't have any knowledge of anything.

However, trust was not always needed. It was more than enough if Dilan and Nial were strong enough to defeat the Primordya Veiluris. In the worst case, they could just push it back through the Veil and close the Veil for a bunch of years.

At least, that was something Nial was capable of apparently. For now, he could close lower-graded Veils with his Power of Chaos. His control was precise and he was powerful enough to eliminate all threats…almost all threats.

The Primordya Veiluris was the only issue at hand, and it was troublesome enough for Nial to ask him to help out.

With that in mind, Dilan agreed to fight together with Nial, even if he was not sure if the information provided by the Oracle could be trusted. Fortunately, that was not necessary as they ended up at a different corner of the Universe not long after.

Dilan had prepared everything necessary to fight against an existence such as the Primordya Veiluris. Many Ancients and Primordials have come to join the battle as well.

Now, they only had to defeat the Primordya Veiluris as quickly as possible.
