Unpredictable Marriage.

Liu Longwei sent Chen Lihua to a private hospital. And immediately they arrived, She was sent to the theater.

Liu Longwei stood outside the theater with a worried look on his face.

After a few minutes, Chen Lihua's doctor came out of the theater to talk to Liu Longwei.

"Doctor, how is my wife?." Liu Longwei asked as he quickly approached the doctor with Anne.

"Your wife is in a critical condition, and I need your permission to perform an abortion." The doctor said in a regretful tone.

Liu Longwei felt his world came crashing down at a lightning speed. He still couldn't believe the child he was expecting with all the happiness he had, wasn't going to step foot into the world.

"Mr. Lu?." The doctor called out.

"Doctor, is there no way for the child to be saved?." Liu Longwei asked after he found his voice.

"Usually, the pregnancy shouldn't end soon, but because of the number of abortion pills she was given, it has already caused a lot of damage to the fetus. The fetus has long assimilated the drugs, and can not be born healthy. The fetus will have a malformation or chromosomal abnormality." The do for explained.

Liu Longwei was quiet, so the doctor took that opportunity to continue.

"Keeping the child is not an option since the drug it's still in her system and has already done a lot of harm. And an emergency birth is not an option. So the only option now is to abort the child and flush your wife's system."

Liu Longwei was helpless at the moment. He felt a strong sense of guilt and pain for Chen Lihua. He blamed himself for the reason she was in that state.

After getting the approval, the doctor went back into the theater to continue with the surgery for a cesarean operation.

As Liu Longwei stood outside the doors of the theater, he felt so cold and heartbroken. 

as he was lost in thought, he heard his phone ring and took it out from his trouser pocket.

When he answered the call, he heard Lady Chen's voice.

"Longwei, have you found Lihua?." Lady Chen asked in a worried tone.

"Mother, I have found her." Liu Longwei replied weakly.

Lady Chen was very happy, but there was something wrong with Liu Longwei's tone that gave her cause to worry, so she inquired further.

"Longwei, what happened? Is Lihua okay? Did something happen?." Lady Chen asked.

Madam Liu who was playing with Taio heard the questions from Lady Chen and asked Taio's nanny to take him to another room before she approached Lady Che.

"Did something happen?." Madam Liu asked Lady Chen, and the latter put her phone on the loudspeaker and waited for Liu Longwei to answer that question.

Liu Longwei didn't know where to start from. He didn't know how to break the news to the two women, but he knew he had to tell them everything that happened.

"Mum is all my fault! Zie Yu kidnapped Lihua from the hospital, and I was too late to catch up with their vehicle. At last, when I found Lihua, Zie Yu had already succeeded in harming our child. The doctor said we can't keep the baby, it's too late to save it. I was asked to give the consent to abort our child." Liu Longwei talked this far, and couldn't bear to continue.

The two women were beyond shocked by the news. 

Lihua was harmed, and the grandchild they've been expecting and had already gone clothe shopping for, was gone?

Madam Liu moved away and went to sit down as tears started to brim at the corner of her eyes.

Lady Chen was the only one that seemed a bit clear-headed.

"Longwei, which hospital are you at?." Lady Chen asked.

After Liu Longwei gave her the address, Lady Chen ended the call and turned to leave, but Madam Liu called out to her...

"Ju Ju where are you going to?."

"I'm going to the hospital to see my daughter. I don't know if Lihua can take this news. We just had two more months before the child would be born, and such an accident happened, Lihua is not strong enough to take this, I have to go and see her." Lady Chen said as her eyes became teary.

"I will come with you." Madam Liu said as she wiped her tears and got to her feet.

"We can't leave Taio all by himself, and we can't take him to the hospital either." Lady Chen said.

"I will call Boqin to drive Mei to the Liu house, so she can stay with the old lady and help look after Taio." Madam Liu said as she whipped out her phone.

"Mei is about to give birth, and it's night already, do you think it will be okay to disturb her?." Lady Chen asked.

"With Boqin there, it wouldn't matter. I have to see how my daughter-in-law is doing." Madam Liu said as she made the call.

No matter how Dongmei asked to know what happened, Madam Liu did not say anything to her.

Lady Chen packed a few of Taio's stuff, and they both sent him to the Liu house.

Old Madam Liu was a very sensitive person, and she somehow guessed that things were not right, so she asked about it.

"Mother, it will be good if you don't know about it, just take good care of your great-grandson till his parents come back for him." Madam Liu said before she disappeared with Lady Chen.

Seeing how they refused to answer her, the old lady concluded that something serious must have happened, and she started to worry about it.
