Chapter 390 - Enjoying A Leisure Day In The Windias Kingdom
-----
Noah had a successful day of business as he managed to sell his rare materials to the merchant guild, and even managed to register on it at an incredible time record. Apparently, the people there was very welcoming of him, perhaps due to his rare treasures or something, but the people here was quite greedy, and when they saw how he was a newbie in the city, they wanted to immediately buy his stuff!
Of course, it wasn't because they were nice people, no, not at all! They desired to buy his stuff for the simple explanation of being a newbie! All merchants were cunning bastards, scheming pigs, and venomous vipers deep down, this didn't changed in here.
They always gathered about new merchants that had never come here and bought everything they had at incredibly cheap prices compared to the norm. The merchants were completely unaware that they were selling their things at prices so low sometimes they were not even 50% of what is the norm in the city.
At the end, although they sold everything, they didn't knew that the pennies they earned could had been way more than that, but these people always loved to abuse others in this way.
Nonetheless, Noah researched the norm in seconds as he had spied into this city from before, he ended being the one asking for better prices, and at the end, he ended managing to blackmail the greedy merchants, simply telling them that he wasn't going to lower the price anymore. Many got desperate, and they bought.
"Hah! What an easy way to cash up here, those stupid lizards are really an interesting bunch, I cannot wait to do business with them once more." Laughed Noah, his wife and children admired his malicious nature.
"Incredible, you managed to win against these greedy merchants so well! To be expected of my amazing husband, fufu." Laughed Iris, her malice emanated from her smile as she looked at the merchants from afar.
"Papa, can you teach me how to do deals later?" asked Dante.
"Yeah, I want to know!" said Eleanora.
"But of course, for my two children I will make sure to teach you all the malicious tricks your father has in store. I won't stop until you surpass me!" said Noah pridefully. A good villain dad taught his children to become even worst villains, his biggest dream was to be surpassed by his own descendants!
"Yaaayy!"
"I think this is a bit exaggerated…," said Arthur.
"Well, our lord did a great job, nonetheless. Those merchants were more cunning than we originally believed though!" said Timassa.
"I am hungry, mama, papa…" sighed Alice.
"Dearie you just ate ten bandit corpses…" sighed Arthur.
"I want more!" said Alice.
"I am hungry… When are we going to eat?" asked Adamantine.
"Food! Food!" cried Adan.
"Adan, Adamantine, calm down for a bit." sighed Jon.
"Let's go eat something, my lord, Crimson is also quite hungry." Said Clementina.
Noah nodded.
"Indeed, let's use our hard-earned money and buy ourselves a large feast. I already got some recommendations from the merchants; we'll go to a big one." Said Noah.
The carriage was moved by the horse-like draconic beasts as they suddenly arrived at a large building made of hardened wood and covered in beautiful bright green and brown paintings resembling a forest.
"Nadia Forest Cuisine" was written in a large sign, the entire party entered hurriedly, finding the place only half-full, Noah smiled as he entered.
A cute dragon girl wearing a maid uniform greeted them with a cute smile but got a bit surprised when she saw that the entire group of people were all coming to eat now!
"E-Ehh? W-What is this? S-So many…"
"Hello, we have come to serve ourselves some of your food. You better not disappoint us." Said Noah.
"A-Alright… Please, here…" the girl guided Noah and his party through the large building, leaving them on the second floor which was still almost empty.
Noah and his entire group decided to order everything in the menu three times, enough to feed a whole army. The girl almost fell over her large and bouncy butt, as she flew down below and rushed towards the large kitchen where many dragons were cooking.
"T-They want the whole menu three times! T-They said they were going to give extra tips to everyone if the stuff was good too!"
All the chefs inside flashed with greed; their eyes released literal flames! The head chief, a red dragon, roared as he started a new fire and began to cry onions.
"ALRIGHT! MOVE YER ASSESS!"
The entire group of chefs began to cook the food continuously. They started with smaller plates but very tasty ones, all sorts of preparations that only used just different types of meat, but also cheese, noodles, rice, and more. The food was like that of Earth but enhanced by a tenfold! No matter how much he liked the food of his wife, Noah had to admit that this food was incredible.
Although the portions were not enough for the stomachs of this group, Noah began to give the chefs large pieces of meat and things he carried around to cook, he knew their ingredients were running low now after he asked the whole menu three times, so he told the chefs to make good things out of them! In such meat was also included the meat of dragon heroes, which they were not even aware of, but they found amazingly aromatic and filled with a richness they had never seen before…
The plates continued to emerge one by one, the entire party stayed until very late in the night eating and eating while chatting and having a good time.
When everything as over, the chefs were unconscious in the floor and only the maid girl was left somehow standing.
Noah gave her a large sack of draconic stones, enough to pay the entire building alone, and left the place.
"The food was good, well done." He said, as he left the girl sleeping over the pile of money.
As his group jumped over the carriage and moved into an Inn to pass the night, several figures crawled within the shadows, lurking behind them…
