Chapter 361: Journey to the Dragon Island part-5

Chapter 361: Journey to the Dragon Island part-5

He traveled back to the time but his intelligence was just the same as before. Always forget about crucial parts and makes terrible mistakes.

Taking a deep breath, Wil convinced himself that his trip wasn't all for naught either as he found out the painting.

Forcing out a smile, he looked at Iphi, "Plans change. We are going to my second home. But, I need you to return to the gourd."

"Again?" She complained in a high pitch. "No, I don't want to."

Wil smiled helplessly, "sorry but you just need to take a short nap for a few hours."

Without waiting for her response, Wil sent her to the gourd prison, once again.

*Ding! Favorability with Iphi Draconus reduced by 5

Iphi was disappointed to return to the dark cell just after a couple of minutes it got free.

Ignoring the notification, Wil dismissed the gourd and then, summoned the fire Pegasus.

*neigh*

Caressing it, he got on top of it before pointing towards the ocean, "buddy, let's go at full speed.

*Ding! The flying speed crossed the maximum limit. You receive a temporary debuff, blindness.

"Ugh, not again" He quickly ordered the Pegasus to stop to make preparations for the flight.

Not intending to waste time on nap like previous high-speed flights, he opened the forums.

Wil then went to the music section which was uploaded by the users. He clicked on all the playlists before ordering to fly once again.

***

With 6 times the speed of Wil's maximum flying speed, the Pegasus flew towards the island kingdom of Athledon at a speed of 3.2 mach.

Within a little more than just five hours, the Pegasus reached the skies of Athledon kingdom and slowed down.

Maybe, it's due to the update changes to nullify the effects or maybe, it's due to the high speed of the Pegasus that cuts through the wind, for whatever reason, Wil didn't feel a thing until he arrived at the destination.

*neigh*

As his vision restored, Wil stopped the songs and ordered it to get down near the shores of a river which is located in the state of Ormshire.

After that, it closed its wings and started to run like a horse. For the passersby, it felt extremely weird to see a winged human is sitting on a winged horse that is running instead of flying.

On the way, remembering that he forgot to see the changes in Ormshire, he opened the data of Ormshire state in the properties list.

Thankfully, there weren't many changes except the NPC population which is increased by a little more than a thousand.

As for the player population, except for Akiko and her branch guild members, there are none, mainly due to the war happening around the world. Moreover, there is neither the presence of dungeons in the Ormshire state nor there are any monsters in the ocean or the sky.

Adding on top of that, Scarlet Town wasn't developed much either, except for farming lands, basic residences for NPCs, and a few official buildings.

So, no one settled here yet. Wil thought of developing it once the world war is finished. Money is more needed on developing the military, rather than on city development.

After all, once the second phase starts, the minor update will bring a lot of changes to the world, especially increasing the military strength of the NPC kingdoms. As for player kingdoms like Llyne and Gailzach, they won't get such benefits.

So, they need to focus on improving military strength, not that it is needed for someone like Wil, well, at least in his own view.

Upon reaching the Imperial palace of Athledon, the captain escorted Wil into the palace where he crashed on the courtroom session as soon as it began.

"Brother Time Traveler." King Hugolinus Athledon was delighted to meet the savior whom he treated like a blood sibling.

Wil also saw Owler, sat beside the king.

As he greeted Hugo in return, the King asked him the reason for his visit.

Wil answered him truthfully that he came for Owler regarding a personal business and further requested to grant a few minutes as it was a very urgent matter.

If it was anyone else, it would have brought a frown upon the King. But, Wil is not only the savior of Athledon, but he is also a disciple of the Seer.

So, King Hugo permitted Owler to leave the courtroom for a while, to which, Wil expressed his thanks and quickly left with Owler.

As they exited the courtroom, Wil expressed his intentions to his master and requested him to grant the wish.

At first, the original Seer Owler fell into thoughts. After all, Wil isn't requesting to find just one ordinary person.

He was asking for the whereabouts of three people in which there's a possibility that at least two of them might be an Ascended like him. If they are weak, it would have been fine. However, Owler was worried that the targets might turn to be powerful ones and get offended.

If that's the case, it might bring harm to himself and Athledon.

Moreover, his intuition is also telling him that he shouldn't mess with them. As a seer, he never disregards his intuition.

After thinking for a while, Owler shook his head, "I'm sorry but I can't help you find those persons you are looking for. However, I can also help you find the entrance of the Dragon Island."

As soon as he heard that Owler can help him out in reaching the Dragon Island, he no longer paid attention to the matter of why his master rejected to help out in searching for that mysterious old man or the black dragon.

"Come with me." Owler started to walk away.

Wil followed him to a private chamber.

Summoning his crystal ball, Owler closed his eyes and continuously poured magic power into it.

If Wil would be able to see his mana, he would have seen the mana points are depleting at a rapid pace as Owler is increasing his search distance from 1 km radius to 5 km, then, 500 km, 5000 km, and finally 50 thousand km, thereby covering the entire planet.

The process lasted for a whole ten minutes.

After almost depleting his mana, Owler opened his eyes and the crystal ball stopped glowing. Instantly, he felt like he was tired, at least on the outside.

Looking at Wil, he slowly gave the directions, "From here, travel 20765 kilometers to the south and then, travel west for another 2498 kilometers. Then, finally, dive into the ocean for 5.7 kilometers.

There, you will find the ruins of the islands that were submerged long ago. The entrance looks like a door. However, the only thing that can unlock the door is a weapon that was filled with the aura of a king.

His majesty's Athledon's sword is qualified to open the entrance. You can ask his help to lend it to you. Considering your relationship, I'm sure he will agree to it."

"No, it's alright." Wil shook his head. "I need to make other preparations before setting out to that place."

After getting what he needed, Wil didn't stay in the palace any longer.

After sending a message to Aster to increase the treasury of the palace to make sure not runs out in his absence, he immediately set out to the location right away.

It cost him another five hours of blindness as he sat on top of the Pegasus. On the way, once again, he started to listen to the music.

However, as soon as his sight restored, Wil's eyes widened in shock. He couldn't help but roar, "why the f**k am I here?"
