Like a stream of dense black liquid, the birds came in through the window before gathering behind Yan Yuan, forming what looked like a pair of black devil wings.

The second he finished saying that, the birds arranged themselves in an offensive position while staring at me with their vicious, yellowish-brown eyes. Immediately, a group of birds surrounded me. I grabbed a chair and tossed it at them and was able to peek through the dense pack of birds. Behind this curtain of birds, I saw Yan Yuan walking toward Zhu Zhongling with a dagger in hand.
