Chapter 110: Tokayo
Chapter 110: Tokayo
"T-thank you master for naming me." As reluctant as he was, Tokayo could only thank his master. After all, that was an obligation of a servant! To someone who was only a summoned creation, Tokayo had no way of defying his creator.
It was just that, his given name was really something.
Although Tokayo had just been born, his knowledge and wisdom were already comparable to a human child. And he wouldn't be so oblivious to what was the meaning of 'Tokayo!'
He was just thankful that he had no mouth to cough up blood, and no eyes to cry.
He was even regretting the fact that he asked for a name from his master.
Nonetheless, what was done was done. He was just hoping that someday, perhaps someday, he would be accustomed to this name.
"Rise!" Jim commanded authoritatively. As if he really just became a monarch commanding such a loyal servant.
Without further delay, Tokayo stood up as he waited patiently for his master's command.
"What can you do? I feel like you can use my abilities as well. Can you use blood and soul too?" Jim stared at the other party as he asked seriously.
"I can only use blood, master. I have only gained this ability. But I cannot create any life-forms like how you do." Tokayo explained respectfully.
"Oh... Is that so?" Jim was a bit surprised though, "It's already good enough."
Although it's only an ability to control blood, Jim guessed that just like how he did, it would be terrifying as well! Anyone should not be so careless when facing this new creation of him!
"Alright!" Jim seemed to remember something as he thought what he should call to this new creation of his. He had Blood Minions to spy, Blood Warriors to fight for him, so what he should call to this new creation of him now?
Jim pondered for a good while until finally, he had decided on what he should call the other party, "You will be my Blood Guardian!"
Jim planned to create more of this type of creation later on. But now, since he was in a duel against his grandfather, he should focus more on it.
"Now then," Jim shifted his gaze to his grandfather and found the other party only staring at him. It appeared that his grandfather was impatiently waiting for him to make a move using his new creation, Blood Guardian.
"Prove your worth to me, and beat up that old man!" Jim ordered with his smug face. Although his grandfather was really scary, as his strength was getting stronger, his fear seemed to minimize as even mocking the other party from afar was something he could do now.
Laude suddenly felt his blood boiling as his veins helplessly popped out from his head. He then exuded a terrifying aura as he said, "Good, good, now that you're a little stronger, your respect for me is now fading huh. Let's see how capable you are."
Laude was now itching to teach this brat a lesson!
On the other hand, Tokayo shifted his gaze to Laude as he didn't obey Jim immediately. He could feel the terrifying aura of the other party as he calculated that he wasn't enough to defeat the other party.
"Master, if I may, I have a request..." Tokayo turned back his gaze to his master as he said.
"Request?" Jim frowned. Unlike his Blood Minions and Blood Warriors, this Blood Guardian of his was not obeying his command so blindly. The other party was even asking for a request. But despite that, Jim was not unhappy. He even found it interesting.
"Yes, master."
"Say it then."
"Can I have those monkeys?" Tokayo pointed his index finger to the Tree-Merger Apes that were floating in the midair and were being compressed to meatballs, or perhaps, tree balls. There were at least seven balls of it compromising of at least a total of 30 Tree-Merger Apes.
Kutob!
Jim found his heart palpitating wildly as he knew what was the other party thinking, "You want to absorb them?"
"Yes."
"No, master!" Bantay immediately refuted. He never thought that this new creation would be so cruel.
"Shut up! I am not talking to you!" For the first time, Tokayo let out a cold and indifferent voice. His bloodlust was exuded making all the Blood Minions and Blood Warriors of Jim shiver in fear.
Only Bantay didn't feel as much fear as the others. But still, the other party hindered him to say anything in response for a moment. Bantay gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. He was angry at the other party's behavior.
But before he could even make a move against the other party,
"Ok," Jim's voice echoed to the surroundings.
"M-master..." Bantay couldn't believe it at all. Was their master really that cruel to even sacrifice his own? If that was the case then maybe, in the future, they will too...
"Haha you're worrying too much Bantay, it's not as if they will be gone or dead. They can still come out of his body anytime I want, so what's there to make a fuss?" Seeing that his first tamed beast was getting worried about the other party's old friends, Jim assured Bantay that there was no harm to it.
It was not as if Jim had already tried it before, but that was what his instinct was telling him. Jim felt that this Blood Guardian of his could absorb his Blood Warriors to increase the other party's strength. That was really a good ability of his!
"I-is that so?" Bantay suddenly felt awkward. It seemed like he misunderstood his master, "Then, I am fine with it as well."
But then again, if his friends would be completely absorbed, and his master decided to sacrifice his own, Bantay had still no way of refuting his master. He could only agree with the other party as dejected as he was.
With that, Bantay turned silent. But it didn't change the fact that he still hated the new creation of his master. The other party's behavior was really out of sync with them. As if the other party was treating all of them as inferior.
Bantay couldn't accept this. He hated the fact that he could only grit his teeth and was not allowed to beat up the other party.
Sigh.
Jim had, of course, felt the enmity of Bantay. Nonetheless, he couldn't do anything against it now. This Blood Guardian of his was really too much for showing the other party's dominance.
"And also, master," Jim was still saddened to what had just happened when he heard Tokayo speaking again, "Can we take advantage of this blood field of yours as well?"
Jim suddenly felt his eyes widened for a moment. He still hadn't tried it out but it appeared that this Blood Guardian of his, had already known the other uses of this blood field he created. Nonetheless, he still asked, "How?"
"You all will go down there so that I can borrow your powers as well."
Indeed. That was what Jim had thought about. He was planning to use this as his last resort in his fight against his grandfather, but who would have thought that Tokayo would learn about it and was able to use it too. Jim really wondered how much knowledge did the other party had inherited from him, or perhaps, just like him, the other party could feel as well what was the uses of this blood field.
"Fine then. Let's beat up that old man." Jim smiled and agreed to the request of Tokayo.
"Thank you, master." Tokayo knew that their opponent this time was insanely strong. That being said, to not disappoint his master, he wanted to use all he could use in this fight. He might still not be able to defeat the other party, but at least he wouldn't show a bad performance.
"Then... if I may?" Tokayo then bowed his head down as a gesture of starting his move.
Jim only nodded with a smile of anticipation.
Tokayo nodded as well, after which, he raised his hand and the blood beneath Jim had raised and swallowed him whole. Not only him, but even all of his Blood Minions and Blood Warriors were also being swallowed as well by the blood beneath them.
Tokayo was satisfied as he could feel that he could borrow their strength now.
"So you're making a move now huh. You made me wait for so long you know!" Seeing that Jim and the other party's new creation had already made a move, Laude was really excited to see what was this creation of Jim capable of doing. But from the looks of it, it was not something to take lightly.
Tokayo didn't reply to him but instead, he raised his hand and pointed to the seven meat balls, no, tree balls floating in the midair. Whatever was it, Tokayo only wanted to absorb them now.
Laude saw the other party as he realized what the other party meant by his action. He could only sneer coldly as he willed for the seven balls of whatever was it to float in Tokayo's direction, "Sure, sure, you can have them all as you want, and entertain this old man."
