Chapter 131: Bahaghari
Chapter 131: Bahaghari
"Since I'm not welcome here, I will leave now at once..." Elaine was rather disappointed as she started to walk out of the village. She was disappointed, but her fake smile remained still.
Elaine was just hoping for the time to pass already since there was nothing else she could do to kill the time anymore. As she walked out of the village, she muttered to herself, "Curse of the Lost Memories huh... this is really thrilling. I'm just wondering how weak the other X-rank Hunters really are..."
On the other hand, seeing that the other party had obediently left the village, the middle-aged man finally heaved a sigh of relief. He then raised his right hand and a spherical device was revealed. It had a fist-size and a black color at that. There was a small red dot in the middle of it and it was emitting a light. After a short moment, a holographic screen appeared in the midair displaying an old man on the screen.
"I checked the entire area and I sense no Plapla around. It seems like the kid from the Triangle of Sin is just playing around." The middle-aged man said seriously to the one who was displayed on the hologram screen.
"Where is that kid now?" The other party asked.
"She left."
"Oh? Even so, don't put your guard down. We cannot trust anyone from that filthy organization."
"Of course," The middle-aged man replied with his eyes flashing with a cold glint. He then shifted his gaze around and found Elaine already far away. It appeared that the other party had really left the area!

At the same time...
"Dear Hunters! Anyone who defeated this little boy here in arm wrestling will have the chance to win this treasure." An excited and lively voice rang out somewhere besides the street. Many people who were passing by got their interest piqued when they took a glance at the treasure mentioned by the man who seemed as if lacking in attention.
Seeing that he had gotten the attention of the crowd, the man smiled widely as he continued while pointing out the treasure he held in his hand, "I know that everyone here knew about this little stuff, so I don't think I need to bother myself explaining this..."
It was a rainbow color gemstone. It was placed on a box carried by the man and it shone so brightly in the day. Many people who see it became certain of it, this was a 'Bahaghari'! A priceless treasure that could only be found under the foot of a rainbow!
People gathered around as they wanted to see how could they get the treasure. And when they learned that it was only to beat a little boy in his early teens in arm wrestling, they immediately got hyped up! Who wouldn't be excited about it if the way of getting the treasure was way too easy?!
"Listen, everyone, listen!" Seeing that everyone was trying their hardest to push each other so that they could try it first, the man tried his best to handle the situation. The crowd then turned silent as they wanted to hear what other nonsense would this man going to bring up.
With that being said, the man smiled as he spoke, "The lots of you had probably guessed that I am a Treasure Hunter, and you all knew that getting this treasure is not that easy. That's why if you want to defeat this boy in arm wrestling..." A wide grin surfaced on his lips making an opening for a moment of pause before he continued, "...you must pay up first!"
Fair enough! The crowd nodded in agreement. This guy wouldn't just give this treasure just like that, right? They all had already guessed that this man wouldn't just let them fight the little boy in front of them for free.
"How much?!" Someone from the crowd asked impatiently as he walked towards the table where the little boy was seated on the other side. Not only he walked closer, he even sat on the other side of the table to face the boy already and give him a hard beating.
That someone was muscular. And he could probably smash the little boy in front of him into a meat paste with just a single wave of his hand. No one among the crowd stopped him as well, for they were afraid to anger this person!
Bear Hunter. Everyone muttered his name. There was even a hint of disgust in their hushed voice. How could this A-rank Hunter had the guts to bully a kid?! This person really had no sense of shame!
But it couldn't be helped. They knew that the Bahaghari was way too precious to make any of the Middle Ranker ignite their greed. Even some S-rank Hunters might spare their time to get this treasure!
Helpless, the crowd could only let this greedy person snatch away the treasure right under their watch.
"It's only in a cheap price of 10,000 gold coins!" The man spoke in excitement as he added, "You can also pay something of the same value!"
"Only ten thousand gold?" The crowd buzzed in surprise. One must know that a single piece of Bahaghari would cause half a million gold. But now, they could have a chance to get it in only 10,000 gold?! It really was a pity that someone had already taken place the opportunity. They were just hoping that this little boy would beat this arrogant Bear Hunter for them to have a chance. But how could it be? He was only a kid and his opponent was an A-rank Hunter. How could he defeat the other party?! And even if the kid beat the Bear Hunter, it would only mean that they as well would stand no chance of winning. Sigh. They could only sigh in dismay for being incompetent.
"I don't have 10,000 gold right now with me." The muscular man said with a grin as he continued, "But since I will defeat this kid anyways, I will just pay you up later after I sold the..."
Swoosh!
Crash!
The muscular man was sent flying before he could even finish his words! He rolled furiously on the ground before crashing to the wall on the other side of the street.
People around dropped their jaw on the ground. Some who had barely dodged the flight of Bear Hunter had their heart skipped a beat and almost die in a heart attack on the spot! They were just thankful that they saw the change of vibes of the man who was holding the play, enabling them to react on time and dodge the man.
That attack was way too ferocious! The man only waved his hand and the Bear Hunter was sent flying helplessly!
Before anyone among the crowd could even recover from their shock, they heard the man speaking in a disdainful and angry tone, "Poor bloke aren't welcome here. So if anyone among you still wants to cause trouble, hurry up and step forward and face this master here!"
"..." Everyone didn't utter a word. They didn't even move a muscle for they were afraid that it would annoy the other party.
The man swept his gaze around. Seeing that there was no one to cause any more trouble, the man then smiled again as he said lively as if nothing really happened, "Anyone wants to try?! It's only in a cheap price of 10,000 gold coins and you will have the chance to get this Bahaghari!"
"This guy..." Everyone was speechless. He sure knew how to act!

Meanwhile, at the same time when the muscular man was sent flying...
A little girl was walking joyously on the street. In her right hand was a chicken drumstick as she took a bite on it from time to time.
Swoosh!
Crash!
A big guy flung past in front of her. Only a single step and she would definitely be hit by that someone. The little girl halted her steps as she reflexively shifted her gaze to the man who crashed heavily to the wall on the side of the street.
"Poor bloke aren't welcome here. So if anyone among you still wants to cause trouble, hurry up and step forward and face this master here!"
After a few moments, she heard someone speaking in an angry tone. She shifted her gaze from the other side of the street and there she noticed many people who were gathering around.
Without any say, the little girl walked in that direction as she took another bite on the chicken drumstick she held leaving only its bone. After she threw away the bone, she opened her small pouch and from there, she got yet another chicken drumstick.
"Anyone want to try?! It's only in a cheap price of 10,000 gold coins and you will have the chance to get this Bahaghari!"
As she reached the crowd, she heard another voice but this time, it was an excited voice. She tried her best to get through in the front with the help of her little body as she finally caught sight of the man who was speaking.
"Bahaghari?" The little girl muttered silently as she took another bite on her chicken drumstick seeing that she was drooling. After swallowing a bite of a chicken drumstick, she added, "What is that?! Can it be eaten?"
